New Balance ABZORB 2000 'Blue/Grey'
After the first sneak peek of the New Balance 2000 ABZORB appeared online earlier this February, when Sao Paolo-based stylist Gustavo Soares shared the retro-futuristic silhouette in a baby blue hue, another colourway emerged.
Later this year, New Balance is anticipated to release the 2000 model, which updates the shoe's appearance by fusing modern inspirations with the running shoe style of the early 2000s.
This new colourway comes in a light blue upper that contrasts with the gradient grey tones used throughout.

Along with the grey tints on the insole and 'N' branding, the silver accents on the eyelets, overlays, and full-length ABZORB cushioning system give the shoe a more futuristic appearance.
The New Balance ABZORB 2000 'Blue/Grey' is slowly hitting shelves as well as the official website. You can snag a pair for US$170 (~RM727).

New Drops From Mizuno & Basketcase x New Balance: Peak Performance Meets Tasteful Minimalism
Let's get real – whenever a high-performance or even streetwear sneaker hits the scene, it's oftentimes the most eye-offensive sneaker available, thanks to its clashing and excessive use of colours. But what if there were a shoe that delivers its promise of marrying performance and style in a tasteful way? Then you've got the latest creations from Mizuno and Basketcase x New Balance to try on for size. Mizuno Wave Prophecy Morelia Neo From the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup to the excitement surrounding the FIFA World Cup next year, football has been on the minds of millions of people lately. As a result, the sport's influence is still felt in every sphere of society, including fashion, where football-inspired and -designed footwear models are still very much in demand. Mizuno is capitalising on this popular trend by creating the Wave Prophecy Morelia Neo, which honours the 40th anniversary of the Morelia boot by fusing it with the Wave Prophecy. The Wave Prophecy runner's instantly identifiable sole unit forms the shoe's base and, with its aerated Wave Plate arrangement, provides comfort with every stride. Meanwhile, the brand's RunBird logo is displayed on both sides of the shoe, and the upper has the recognisable K-Leather quilted panelling. It will be introduced using this all-black version, emphasising all of its key characteristics. The Mizuno Wave Prophecy Morelia Neo will be available for purchase on 27th June through Mizuno for €250 (~RM1,230). It will also be available on HBX starting 1st July. Basketcase x New Balance 204L Basketcase and New Balance are once again kicking things into high gear with their latest shoe — the Basketcase x New Balance 204L. Being their third attempt at creating a pair of dazzling sneakers, the Southern Californian streetwear label and the decorated footwear brand are here to rock the fashion industry. A Friends & Family release, the new Basketcase x New Balance collection ups the ante while maintaining the pair's minimalist, monochromatic style. Textured pony hair underlays accentuate the collaborative version of the new NB silhouette, which is covered in a variety of grey hues. The pony hair is partially hidden by high-quality nubuck overlays that are dipped in a slightly different shade of grey. Leather linings and contrasting EVA foam midsoles and outsoles finish off the low-profile stepper. The sleek form factor on top of its subtle colour is enough to get some heads turning, as it fully embraces its minimalist aesthetic in a tasteful manner. But if grey isn't your style, then worry not, as these sneakers will be receiving a coloured reinforcement in the coming months, as per the shoe's official press release. The Basketcase x New Balance 204L has yet to receive an official price or release date, but you can stay up to date by visiting Friends & Family's official website. Hong Kong singer Tommy Yuen arrested for allegedly stealing snacks worth HK$140
Hong Kong singer Tommy Yuen Man-on has been arrested for allegedly stealing snacks from a supermarket, the Post has learned. Yuen, a former member of the defunct Cantopop boy band E-kids, was arrested on Wednesday after he was spotted acting suspiciously by patrolling officers in To Kwa Wan, police said. He allegedly stole items from a Wellcome supermarket and was carrying a credit card belonging to someone else, a police spokesman said. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting. The case is being handled by the Kowloon City district investigation team. Yuen allegedly took 11 items, including bottled drinks, packets of candy, biscuits and coated peanuts, valued at about HK$140 (US$18). Officers also confirmed that the credit card in his possession belonged to a friend, who was contacted to retrieve it at the police station. Yuen, 45, previously served 26 months in jail for insulting police and officials and fabricating a fundraising story. In May last year, Yuen wrote a Facebook post saying that he had decided to leave Hong Kong after facing weekly contact with national security police following his early release from jail in September 2023. He said the frequent questioning caused him fear and distress, leading him to worry about being sent back to prison. In the May 1 Facebook post, Yuen said: 'I have finally left Hong Kong and started living in the United Kingdom!' The father of two also expressed determination to work hard in the UK and continue pursuing music, creating content, posting on social media and starting a YouTube channel. 'I believe that I won't or won't be able to go back to my beloved Hong Kong any more in my lifetime, as it continues to deteriorate day by day,' he had said. However, he was seen in the city in December. Yuen was arrested by national security police in February 2022, charged within 48 hours and kept in custody until his trial. In a court hearing in July 2023, he admitted to breaching a colonial-era sedition law by insulting police and officials on social media, as well as laundering more than HK$700,000 that he had raised by fabricating a story about a teenager facing a riot trial over her involvement in the anti-government protests of 2019. Two months later, he was sentenced to 26 months in jail. - SOUTH CHINA MORNING POST
