Oppo Reno 14 series India launch today at 12PM: Expected price, specs and everything else
Display quality is another area where Oppo seems to be putting effort. The Reno 14 is said to feature a 6.59-inch flat OLED panel, while the Pro version may offer a slightly larger 6.83-inch screen. Both are expected to support a 1.5K resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. Oppo is also using its Crystal Shield Glass for better durability. Peak brightness is rated at 1,200 nits, which should be good enough for outdoor usage in most conditions. On the camera front, the Reno 14 Pro is tipped to include a more advanced quad-camera setup on the rear, including a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a periscope-style 50-megapixel telephoto camera with up to 3.5x optical zoom, and a fourth 50-megapixel sensor, possibly for portrait shots. The regular Reno 14 is also expected to come with a capable triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. Both devices will likely feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera, maintaining Oppo's focus on front camera quality.Battery performance is expected to be another highlight. The Reno 14 could feature a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast wired charging, while the Reno 14 Pro might come with a slightly larger 6,200mAh unit and 50W wireless fast charging support via Oppo's AIRVOOC technology. This would make them some of the few phones in the segment offering both wired and wireless fast charging.Oppo Reno 14 series: Expected priceadvertisementAs for the pricing, Oppo hasn't revealed the India-specific price tags yet, but the China launch gives a rough estimate. The Reno 14 starts at around CNY 2,799 (approx. Rs 33,200), while the Pro version starts at CNY 3,499 (approx. Rs 41,500). Considering the pricing of the Reno 13 series in India, which started at Rs 39,999 for the base model and went up to Rs 49,999 for the Pro, the new Reno 14 phones are likely to stay in the same ballpark. With the launch event set for today at noon, all eyes are now on whether Oppo will offer any India-specific features or pricing advantages to make the Reno 14 series more competitive in the crowded premium mid-range space.- Ends
