Driver with gunshot wound found in car wreck in Roxburgh Park in Melbourne's north
A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being found in the wreckage of a car in Melbourne's north with a suspected gunshot wound. Police and paramedics were called to Roxburgh Park in Melbourne's north about 7pm on Sunday after a coupe crashed through a park fence and hit a tree near the corner of Donald Cameron Drive and Bridgewater Road. They found the driver with life-threatening injuries. "Along with injuries believed to have been sustained from the crash, the driver had a suspected gunshot wound to the lower body," a Victoria Police spokesperson said. Armed Crime Squad detectives were called to the scene to investigate the incident.
