Tiger Woods is not just praised for his golfing legacy but for being a father who has supported his children through thick and thin. Recently, Woods was spotted cheering on Charlie at the Florida State Amateur Championship.
It was right after Charlie's AJGA victory, a breakthrough moment for the 16-year-old, finishing at 15-under 201 for his first AJGA title.

After the win, he couldn't help but say: "Now I can say I have one, and Dad can't say I don't; that definitely helps in the argument between him and I."
But it looks like that was not the only message the 16-year old had for his father.
On Sunday, AJGA revealed Charlie's pened message to 15x major winner Tiger Woods.
"Thank you, Dad, for believing in me in times where I didn't even believe in myself, and for all the times where you have supported me no matter what I do."
Charlie added, "Even though we argue a lot, I still cherish every moment, and I would just like to say, thank you for everything you've done for me."
But their bond goes beyond golf.
Tiger's children have been his biggest source of strength, especially during one of the saddest moments of his life—the passing of his mother, Kultida Woods, earlier this year.
Tiger was heartbroken, sharing how close Sam and Charlie were to their grandmother. "She was loved by so many, but especially by her two grandchildren, Sam and Charlie. Thank you all for your support, prayers, and privacy at this difficult time for me and my family."
Their relationship was on full display during the TGL's inaugural season all well. Tiger was facing Atlanta Drive GC in the final match and Charlie was right there, supporting his father from the stands.
Interestingly one unforgettable moment was Tiger spotting Charlie eating chicken fingers mid-match and playfully asking for one.
"Chicken Fingers? Give me one. Just throw me one," he said, and Charlie happily passed one over. A simple, lighthearted moment that showed their genuine connection.

Not only this but Tiger has always been Charlie's biggest cheerleader.
During last year's PNC Championship last year, Charlie posted a hole-in-one, and no one celebrated harder than Tiger, who hugged his son in pure joy.
Now, on Father's Day, it was Charlie's turn to give back.
His message was a reminder that, beyond the trophies and accolades, family is what truly matters.

Christian Horner Under Fire As Council May Tear Down Luxury Mansion Renovations

Former Red Bull Racing CEO and team principal Christian Horner and his wife Geri Halliwell-Horner are under fire after recent planning permission issues at their Oxford mansion. The couple live in a grade II listed property, a former vicarage in Marston St Lawrence, in Oxfordshire. With plans now going ahead for the construction oak-framed pergola and gazebo in April of this year, it's been reported that the couple didn't receive planning consent, not only due to the listed nature of the property, but also the fact it's in a designated conservation area. Because of this, planning in a necessity. On top of this, construction is also ongoing on an outdoor kitchen, which will be built alongside an existing helipad, orangery, stables, boating lake and two swimming pools. Christian Horner, Team Principal of Oracle Red Bull Racing in the Team Principals Press Conference during practice ahead of the F1 Grand Prix of Great Britain at Silverstone Circuit on July 04, 2025 in Northampton, England. MoreAccording to a report from the Daily Mail, the local council can order the family to demolish any work that has been done to the property without permission. The Horners are applying for retrospective planning permission, but it can still be rejected despite the work already being started. The family applied for this retrospective planning permission the day before he was dropped from Red Bull after a string of disappointing results. "Red Bull has released Christian Horner from his operational duties with effect from today," Red Bull GmBH said in a statement. Horner followed this up with a heartfelt post to the team's many fans and followers: "After an incredible journey of twenty years together, it is with a heavy heart that today I say goodbye to the Team I have absolutely loved. Every one of you, the amazing people at the factory, have been the heart and soul of everything that we have achieved. Win and lose, every step of the way, we have stood by each other as one and I will never forget that. It's been a privilege being part of and leading this epic Team and I am so proud of our collective accomplishments and you all. "Thanks to the amazing partners and fans who enabled us to go racing. Your support has helped grow the team from its humble beginnings to an F1 powerhouse that laid claim to 6 Constructors Championships and 8 Drivers Championships. "Equally, thank you to our rivals, with whom there would be no racing at all. You've pushed us, challenged us, and enabled us to achieve accolades we never dreamed possible. The competition has made every victory sweeter and every setback an opportunity to develop and grow. "Formula 1 is a sport built on relentless ambition, passion, and respect. The rivalries have been fierce, but the mutual drive to innovate and raise the bar is what has made this journey so special. "It's been an honour to be part of this incredible era of motorsport. I leave with immense pride in what we've achieved and also with what's in the pipeline for 2026 — and huge respect for everyone who's made F1 the pinnacle it is today. Thank You"

Joel Dahmen Reflects On Caddie Breakup After Breakthrough Round At Wyndham

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. On the very first day of the Wyndham Championship, PGA Tour pro Joel Dahmen fired a career-best 9-under 61 on Thursday to take the early lead. Interestingly, it wasn't just his scorecard that had fans talking, but the emotional weight behind it. The 37-year-old, who entered the week ranked 101st in the FedEx Cup standings, closed his opening round with three straight birdies at Sedgefield Country Club, vaulting to the top of the leaderboard ahead of Alex Noren. The duo had been inseparable for over a decade, working together since Dahmen's Korn Ferry Tour days, back in 2015. Their partnership blossomed into one of the most beloved player-caddie relationships on Tour, even earning fan-favorite status through Netflix's "Full Swing" series. But in July, just ahead of The Open Championship, Dahmen announced the breakup. Since then, his performance has been streaky. The Clarkston, Washington, native missed 12 cuts in 21 events this season. After Thursday's round, Dahmen addressed the breakup for the first time in depth. (Photo by) More Getty Images "Man, I love Geno," Dahmen told reporters after his first round at the Wyndham Championship. "We still text almost daily. He's doing well. Yeah, I mean, I miss him but sometimes the hardest ... You have to do something hard to ... He continued: "Look, it wasn't an easy decision," he added during the same conference "I won't say I'm not happy about it but it's hard. He's my best friend, he's still my best friend. "It was more about me. It was my mentality, it was what I was doing and I needed to take ownership of what I was doing. I was not doing a good job of that. So, for a way, for me to do it as simple as just playing golf on my own for a little bit." Dahmen's decision to part ways wasn't about Geno's performance, instead about accountability. His longtime coach, Rob Rashell, stepped in as a temporary caddie this week. As Dahmen gets his own situation squared away, it might not be long before Bonnalie is back in business, too. "I love him, I miss him. I think we'll see him out here again soon," Dahamen expressed during the post-round conference on Day 1. Dahmen began his second round on Friday at 1:49 p.m. ET, paired with Ryan Palmer and Harry Higgs, both of whom are also fighting for playoff spots. With the top 70 advancing to the FedEx St. Jude Championship, Dahmen needs at least a runner-up finish to keep his season alive.
