Here's ‘Marvel Rivals' Season 2's Leaked Emma Frost Design
NetEase
There has been a long, long list of leaked upcoming characters heading to Marvel Rivals in the coming seasons, but we now have confirmation that season 2 will bring one very specific X-Men universe villain.
That would be Emma Frost, seen in lists of upcoming characters previously, but now her character design has leaked via the ever-reliable X0XLEAK for the first time for the upcoming season that will prominently feature Krakoa, the sentient living island, and the Hellfire Gala.
You can see the first looks at her below and well, given that Marvel Rivals has no issue channeling the attractiveness of all its comic book characters (including recently, a twerking Venom), Frost has an outfit reminiscent of Chun-Li in a few specific ways. Needless to say, fans are thrilled.
A season 2 'greeting message' has also leaked, a very, very long one detailing the plot and focus of the season. Here's part of it, but the full message is very, very long:
What it does not mention is who the other season 2 character will be, and even leakers don't seem to know that. Emma Frost is obviously first at season launch ere, but switching from the overstuffed season 1 which brought in the entire Fantastic Four, there should be only one hero coming midway through the season. The idea, presumably, would be another X-Men character, but there are loads of those listed as coming leaks. Among likely options may be Professor X or Jean Grey. But we don't know yet. Blade, heavily featured in season 1, seemed like he was imminent, but apparently not. Ultron is another hero that has apparently been primed and ready to go, but I'm not sure how he would fit into this storyline at all. I think it has to be another mutant.
Interest in Marvel Rivals has begun to dip somewhat, down to 168,000 nightly peaks on Steam compared to its 644,000 record high, but that's still really solid and again, it is nearly the end of the season, so this is not expected.
We don't have much confirmed information about Frost, even her role, which some speculate could be just the second female Vanguard with her diamond-based hardening powers. But we just don't know. More information soon, no doubt.

Chris Martin's Ex Gwyneth Paltrow Is Astronomer's ‘Temporary Spokesperson' Amid Coldplay Scandal
Astronomer has enlisted the help of Gwyneth Paltrow for a new promotional video in the wake of the Coldplay cheating scandal. The new video, posted by Astronomer via its official X page on Friday, July 25 features Paltrow as the company's 'Temporary Spokesperson.' Paltrow, who is the ex-wife of Coldplay frontman , introduced her role for the company while speaking to the camera. 'Hi, I'm Gwyneth Paltrow. I've been hired on a very temporary basis to speak on behalf of the 300+ employees at Astronomer,' Paltrow, 52, said. 'Astronomer has gotten a lot of questions over the last few days and they wanted me to answer the most common ones.' Ex-Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot Show PDA in Newly Resurfaced Video From Coldplay Concert The footage then cuts to the first 'question,' which reads, 'OMG what the actual F?' Paltrow does not directly answer this question or address the viral scandal, which saw the company's CEO Andy Byron and Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot step down after they were captured on a Kiss Cam getting cozy despite both reportedly being married to other people. Instead, Paltrow responds with information about Astronomer's business. 'Yes, Astronomer is the best place to run a patchy airflow, unifying the experience of running data ML and AI pipelines at scale. We've been thrilled so many people have a newfound interest in date workflow automation,' she said, before moving on to the next 'question.' The words 'How is your social team holding…' began to be written on screen before abruptly being cut off and switching back to Paltrow. 'Yes! There is still room available at our Beyond Analytics Event in September. We will now be returning to what we do best: Delivering game-changing results for our customers,' Paltrow said, before concluding, 'Thank you for your interest in Astromoner.' Astronomer executives Cabot and Byron made headlines when they attended Coldplay's concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts, on July 16. During the performance, Martin introduced the Kiss Cam and turned it on to the crowd, focusing on Cabot and Byron embracing while watching the show. New Astronomer CEO Releases Statement After Coldplay Kiss Cam Scandal As soon as they realized they were being blasted on the big screen, the pair was immediately evasive. Cabot attempted to shield her face while Byron tried to dodge the cameras by ducking down out of shot. 'Whoa, look at these two. All right, come on. You're OK,' Martin, 48, said. 'Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy. I'm not quite sure what to do.' He added, 'Holy s***.I hope we didn't do something bad.' In the wake of the scandal, Astronomer confirmed that both Byron and Cabot have tendered their resignations from the company. Solve the daily Crossword

British Comic Nish Kumar on How YouTube Helped Him Achieve Success Outside of the U.K.
British comic and podcast host Nish Kumar knows the value of Netflix specials for A-listers like Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle. But he sees emerging comedians like himself with slow-burn careers often getting their biggest boost globally from YouTube after years playing clubs big and small back home. 'I'm primarily known in North America because of a British show called Taskmaster, which people outside the UK watch on YouTube,' Kumar told The Hollywood Reporter while performing at the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal. More from The Hollywood Reporter 'In the Land of Arto': Camille Cottin, Zar Amir Ebrahimi Journey Into Armenia and Its Past (Exclusive Clips) Why Stand-up Legend George Wallace Can't Get Off the Stage After 49 Years in Comedy: "I'm Living My Dream" Former Obama Speechwriter Jon Lovett on How Trump Is Funny Like a "Clown With a Gun" Re-runs of Taskmaster, a British comedy panel game show that included Kumar, have been viewed on YouTube as creator-driven online platforms increasingly disrupt the traditional media landscape, and podcasts like Crooked Media's Pod Save the UK, which Kumar co-hosts with cultural journalist Coco Khan, transform the audio space. The podcast gig followed Kumar appearing on stage at a live London comedy show produced by Crooked Media, which was followed by that proverbial chance call from Hollywood. Soon after he walked off stage, he got a call from Los Angeles asking if he could be at a meeting in London in 20 minutes. 'And I was like, I'm already there. I'm literally in the audience. So I got pulled out of the crowd like Courteney Cox in the 'Dancing in the Dark' video,' Kumar recalled. Later, Crooked Media asked if he'd be interested in launching and hosting a British show, which he did. Kumar's Pod Save the UK offers a weekly fix on U.K. politics. That means Kumar and co-host Khan got to cover the downfall of British prime minister Boris Johnson over his rule-breaking parties in No. 10 during the COVID-19 pandemic. 'In terms of historic failures of leadership, I think Johnson's conduct in the pandemic is one of those things that people will study for years,' Kumar says. But while the U.K.'s Conservative Party sent Johnson packing, Kumar has a take on why Donald Trump, also judged by many as a political buffoon whose erratic style endears him to followers, was restored to the White House for a second term. 'Trump has killed the broad church in the Republican Party. It's no longer a political party. It's a delivery system for a single man and that's a huge problem,' he insists. As Nigel Farage, a protégé of Trump, challenges Britain's current Labor government in the polls, Kumar doesn't look forward to his Reform UK party coming to power to reinvigorate his political comedy. 'The thing with (Farage) and Trump is there is a shamelessness. It actually makes it harder to make fun of them. Politicians in theory are supposed to conduct themselves with a level of dignity that means there's something to prick for principles. Farage and Trump are congenitally shameless men,' Kumar said. An insider told the Daily Mail that Murph's song and music video sparked outrage in the country music scene, with some comparing her to Kanye West. 'I'm glad that I make people have some sort of reaction. I'd rather them be like, 'I hate you,' or 'I love you,' rather than, 'I feel indifferently,' I guess,' the Alabama native stated. 11 Jessie Murph seen in New York City on July 21. Days after releasing her new album, Murph's performance to '1965' on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' was similarly bashed by fans online. 'how dare anybody be comparing this to Amy… you should all be ashamed smh,' one fan wrote. 11 Jessie Murph performs during Spotify's 2025 Songs of Summer Celebration.
