BTS members Jimin and Jungkook delighted fans during a recent live session on Weverse following their official military discharge. The duo, known for their close friendship and playful banter, shared candid updates including Jimin's struggle with weight gain during his time in the Army.
Jimin admitted that he gained 10 kilograms while serving in the 5th Infantry Division, blaming the carb-heavy military meals. 'Believe it or not, I've been dieting for a long time. But in the military, surrounded by big guys and seeing fit officers, I also wanted to bulk up," he said. 'I even started running at 5 a.m. to lose swelling before discharge, but the real issue wasn't bloating—it was the meals."
Laughing, Jimin explained, 'The trays are the problem. The rice is packed, the soup has carbs, and even the side dishes are loaded with them." Jungkook agreed, chiming in, 'Military food is seriously high in calories—but also really tasty."
