Barbra Streisand 'can't remember' if she had sex with Hollywood legend

Metro17-06-2025

Barbra Streisand 'can't remember' if she ever had sex with Hollywood actor Warren Beatty.
In a recent interview, the A Star is Born icon, 83, was asked about an anecdote from her 2023 autobiography, My Name Is Barbra, in which she described a fling with the Dick Tracy actor.
In response, Barbra explained that she still has no idea if she slept with Warren.
'I know I slept in the bed with him, but I can't remember if we actually had penetration,' she told The New Yorker. 'I swear to God, I can't. There are certain things I block out.'
And despite their romantic involvement in the past, Barbra insisted she's 'still friends' with the Bonnie and Clyde star.
'But I know we're still friends. Every year on my birthday, he calls me and we have a wonderful talk about our lives, our children, and so forth. So we're still friends. I met him when I was fifteen years old, and he was twenty-one, I think,' the 83-year-old smiled.
Barbra has been married to James Brolin since 1998, while Warren, 88, wed Annette Bening in 1992.
James and Barbra – who both have children from previous relationships – married after they met on a blind date at a dinner party in 1996.
'I can't tell you how lucky I am that this would happen to me so late in life,' James said in his wedding speech. 'Every night is a new adventure. Sleeping is a waste of time. I can't wait to see her again in the morning.'
At the bash – attended by the likes of John Travolta, Kelly Preston, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Quincy Jones and Sydney Pollack – Barbra serenaded James with two new songs.
Elsewhere in the conversation, the Evergreen hitmaker shut down a report suggesting she's set to return to Broadway for a revival of Gypsy.
'Oh, my God! But why would I ever do anything on the stage again like that? I mean, it was horrifying. I loved the rehearsal process. I loved learning every day and experimenting,' she said.
Talking about her autobiography, Barbra also discussed growing up without a father after he died when she was a baby, and her mother failed to fill in the blanks.
Her mother, Barbra suspects, was jealous of her fame. Through writing the book, Barbra's view of her mother changed from anger to sadness that she never fulfilled her own dreams of being a singer.

Amanda Holden, 54, sizzles in a plunging swimsuit as she shows off her age-defying figure whilst joking around with Alan Carr in Greece

Amanda Holden showcased her sensational figure in a plunging swimsuit on Sunday as she enjoyed her time in Greece with Alan Carr. The celebrity pair have been busy filming their BBC renovations show over the last couple of months, which has been renamed Amanda and Alan's Greek Job. Making sure it was not all work and no play, the duo managed to squeeze in some time between building work to film a lip-syching video to the hit song Together from the musical, Gypsy. In the clip, Amanda, 54, sizzled in a black and white one-piece as she danced and sang next to Alan, who wore green shorts and a blue T-shirt, 49. She also slipped into some white flip flops and accessorised with a straw fedora hat and oversized sunglasses as she took on the funny video with her co-star. The TV presenter looked amazing, showing off her toned legs and bronzed bod as she danced and sang along. The pair who are super close, made sure they lip synced to the part that meant the most to them, singing: 'Wherever we are, it's together. Wherever I go I know he goes. 'Wherever I go I know she goes. No fits, no fights, no feuds and no egos, Amigos, together!' Amanda and Alan have been jetting back and forth to Greece to film their series, after the Heart Radio host criticised the series' name, their travel arrangements and suggested their next show should be shown on Netflix instead. The mother-of-two no doubt shocked bosses as she took a cheeky swipe at her show with the BBC and complained about 'urine soaked dressing room floors'. As they discussed the show on Alan's travel podcast, Alan recalled: 'Do you remember we had to wee in behind bins and sh*** like that? I'm dreading it.' Amanda recalled: 'I have a pile of clothes on me at the back. I've got all of Alan's shirts, like 15 dresses I'll change into, three hats lined up on the back.' She continued: 'And then we get out and I get changed in loos where there's like wee on the floor, beach huts. That's behind the scenes.' Alan added: 'But the thing is people don't understand there's no... The toilets aren't working when we get have to go and use someone's toilet or a portaloo.' Amanda agreed: 'We have to beg for... I mean, how many umbrellas have you put up over various countries when I've had to wee behind them? 'You'll notice that there's hundreds of costume changes for us as well. So we travel, for some reason, the company that we do it with, always hire the smallest cars. 'And I'm in the back with Christian, who does our hair and make up. You're in the front doing the music selection.' After they admitted they didn't like the name of their new series either, Alan suggested it should be called My Big Fat Greek Renovation. While Amanda confessed: 'It's not good. Well, we should argue with the BBC about that.' 'But I've always wanted to visit Japan. It's like the place to go. I want to go in the spring,' she added.' 'And I just think maybe Alan, we should just go to Netflix with our next show, Big in Japan with Amanda and Alan. Yeah. Love it. That idea is with them.' Amanda credits her slim physique with having a balanced diet and a varied exercise routine which includes yoga and running. She has also praised the benefits of getting enough water, previously telling the MailOnline: 'It's good for my body and soul'.

Eastnders' Elaine fears the worst as she makes discovery about Linda and George

Elaine Knight (Harriet Thorpe) feels completely and utterly betrayed by daughter Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) in EastEnders next week. It's quite ironic, given all Elaine has been doing since her separation from husband George (Colin Salmon) is neglecting Linda's wellbeing. In the last two weeks she's left her to run The Queen Vic alone, while she partied with friends, gave lavish hand outs to their neighbour Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) and to top it all off, serving underage children. Two of the local teens then robbed jugs of punch, which were then consumed by their younger peers. It seemed to be the straw that broke the camel's back for Linda, who decided she only had bad memories of her 11 year stint behind the bar, and was deciding to sell her half. Undoubtedly this was prompted by fears that Elaine too would have to move on, as ruthless George decided he was going to fight for his wife's part of the boozer in their divorce settlement. In upcoming scenes, the women continue to be at loggerheads over Linda's choice, and the matter only worsens when the police arrive to question Elaine about her shocking actions. With the threat of losing their license looming large, an emotional Linda rushes off to the caff. While there, she bumps unto George, and the two have a surprising heart to heart about recent events. She explains that she wants to sell-up, and although he supports her plan, he also urges her to consider Elaine's feelings. Little do the pair realise, she is watching on from afar, and comes to a shocking conclusion about what they were discussing. Elaine thinks that they're plotting against her. More Trending She heads to the bank with the intention of securing a business loan, but after being knocked back, she proposes the idea of grandson Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) being her silent partner. He's strongly against the idea and reaffirms to Linda that the time has come for them to go. Elaine reaches breaking point, and amid her frustration, collapses on the ground. John Travolta reprises iconic Grease role 46 years after the original

A Grease comeback in 2025 was not on our bingo cards, but we are hopelessly devoted to his new look. John Travolta left fans speechless at the Hollywood Bowl last night by bringing back his classic Danny Zuko get-up. The signature slicked-back quiff and leather jacket were back on the stage for a surprise Grease sing-along gig. Travolta, now 71, appeared spontaneously on stage to roaring applause at the La La Land outdoor event celebrating the 1978 musical comedy. Surprising not only fans but also his former Grease co‑stars who were in attendance – the audience went wild when Travolta emerged as Danny. The audience wasn't the only ones in complete shock, Travolta kept his surprise show a secret from the Grease cast: Barry Pearl, Michael Tucci, Kelly Ward, Didi Conn and even director Randal Kleiser were not in the know. Travolta himself later confirmed on Instagram that 'no one knew' about the surprise appearance, not even his on‑screen pals. Once on stage, Travolta dropped into character, joking in true Zuko style: 'L.A., I thought you were going back to Australia? That's cool, that's cool, baby…' He went on to lead the cast into a heartwarming chorus of We Go Together before closing the unforgettable show with the line, 'Enjoy the show, we love you!' Travolta's return to the role echoes a similar reunion from 2019, when he and the late Olivia Newton‑John, who died in 2022, surprised fans at a Florida sing‑along, both clad in full Danny and Sandy gear. Fans adored the moment when Travolta picked up his high-quality Zuko wig. Travolta said at the time he found the 50s-style hairdo suited him better than his own bald look, and this year's Hollywood Bowl appearance gave the fans the nostalgia they were craving. The 2019 event also marked a reunion with Newton‑John, who cherished the time spent reliving their iconic Grease roles on stage together. Newton‑John later reflected that the energy was incredible, saying: 'That movie is still loved … the excitement from the people, it was amazing'. More Trending Her infamous leather jacket from the final scene of the 1970s classic was auctioned off, with all proceeds going to her cancer wellness foundation. As for Travolta, he proved last night that Zuko can still light up a summer night, just like he did in 1978. Whether the wig is rollers for Edna Turnblad or covered in gel for Zuko, the actor remains one of the best showmen of all time. And as the Hollywood Bowl event showed, with a quiff, a leather jacket and a wink, Travolta has very much still got it. Got a story?
