Bella Thorne Claims Charlie Puth Lied Because She Refused Sex
Though their romance was short-lived, things got incredibly messy after Charlie publicly accused Bella of cheating; he shared a bunch of tweets that seemingly implied she hadn't ended things with her previous partner, Tyler Posey, before pursuing things with him.
Bella wound up denying cheating on Charlie, stating during an appearance on SiriusXM's The Jenny McCarthy Show, 'Basically, Ty and I stopped dating and Charlie had been tweeting about me for a while. He was trying to reach out to me. I hung out with him twice. We went to the movies. He was cool.'
Fast forward to this week, and Bella has publicly claimed that Charlie 'lied to the entire world' about her because she refused to sleep with him.
Commenting under an Instagram post about ex-Little Mix singer JADE saying she'd never collaborate with Charlie, Bella alleged, 'Yeah I mean .. he lied to the entire world about me and started a hate train. All because I wouldn't …. Do the deed with him.'
This comes years after Charlie sparked controversy when he revealed that his hit song 'Attention' — which was released in 2017 — was about a girl he found manipulative because she wouldn't have sex with him.
We'll keep you posted if anything else unfolds.

Ulrika Jonsson admits she's ‘imperfect' as she hits back at ‘nasty comments' about her appearance
Ulrika Jonsson has passionately hit back after she received a string of 'nasty' and ageist comments following a recent podcast appearance. Earlier this month, the 57-year-old former Gladiators presenter spoke to Spencer Matthews about her sobriety on the Made in Chelsea star's Untapped podcast. However, after footage of the podcast was shared on social media, Jonsson was hit with a wave of negativity from trolls who said she was now 'over-tanned'. Jonsson chose to address the criticism on her Instagram, claiming that she doesn't notice many mean comments and often chooses to 'send people love' instead. Jonsson explained that she opted to go without make-up for the podcast, as she partly 'forgot', but also because she's 'not a fan' due to wearing 'heavy make-up on screen from 5am for years'. She added: 'Most crucially, though, since childhood I've suffered from eczema. On my body – the creases of my arms and legs – on my face, eyes and lips. Make-up has always been the enemy because it's been agony to wear.' Ulrika Jonsson on the 'Untapped' podcast (Untapped) While she thanked people for the positive feedback that she's received for discussing her experiences with addiction and sobriety, Johnsson said that there was a 'considerable amount' of comments about how 'old' and 'tanned' she looked. Jonsson said that she is an unashamed sun worshipper and 'will no doubt pay the price for that'. The presenter also said she has 'uneven pigmentation, doubtlessly not helped by ageing' and also uses filters in photos of herself because 'it's easier than foundation and less painful'. The former Shooting Stars team captain added that she rarely sunbathes anymore, constantly works on her garden and hasn't been on holiday for seven years. Jonsson concluded her post by saying: 'So, I understand that an over-tanned, imperfect and ageing face offends you. But try to listen to the words rather than constantly judging women's appearance. You might learn something. And making people feel s*** doesn't make you a hero.' On the podcast, the mother of four said that staying sober is now her main focus in life. 'For me, now sobriety is my priority, even though I used to say 'Oh my children are my priority'. Without my sobriety, I can't be there for my children, or something awful might happen, or whatever else.' In a post which coincided with the beginning of her sixth month of sobriety in December, Jonsson revealed she reached a point where she could 'no longer recognise [her]self' just before she decided to quit drinking. 'On the 5th June 2024, I had the gift of desperation and reached out for help,' she wrote. 'I no longer recognised myself and I surrendered.' 'Many people have asked me how I've done it and all I can say is that no woman is an island – I have not done this alone,' she continued. 'The willingness to give up alcohol came from me, yes, but without support of friends, family and my new tribe, I would not have made it this far.'

Keith Olbermann pours cold water on claims Colbert was fired for political reasons
Advertisement Ex-MSNBC host Keith Olbermann has weighed in on whether Stephen Colbert was canceled by CBS for political reasons, throwing cold water on the theory he was axed for his criticism of Trump. 'Sorry. That's not what happened here. If it had, they wouldn't be keeping him on until next MAY,' Olbermann said in a post on X. CBS announced they'd canceled 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' Thursday, stating that the over 30-year-long franchise would come to an end in May 2026 with no subsequent host taking over following Colbert's departure. The show was previously hosted by David Letterman from 1992-2015. Advertisement Olbermann authored the post in response to an X user who posted that Colbert's firing was a sign that the United States had descended into fascism. 'We are officially at the 'pulling comedians off the air who criticize our dear leader' phase of fascism,' the user posted over a picture of the late night host. 4 Ex-MSNBC host Keith Olbermann has weighed in on whether Stephen Colbert was canceled by CBS for political reasons, casting doubt on the theory that he was axed for his criticism of Trump. @KeithOlbermann/X Following the network's announcement of Colbert's ouster, numerous left-wing politicians and journalists spoke out, alleging that the talk show host was fired for political reasons, speculating that axing Colbert – a fierce critic of President Trump – was an attempt to placate White House officials amid a pending merger between CBS' parent company Paramount and Skydance. Advertisement 'CBS's billionaire owners pay Trump $16 million to settle a bogus lawsuit while trying to sell the network to Skydance. Stephen Colbert, an extraordinary talent and the most popular late night host, slams the deal. Days later, he's fired. Do I think this is a coincidence? NO,' Vermont Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders posted on X. 'If Paramount and CBS ended the Late Show for political reasons, the public deserves to know. And deserves better,' Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., wrote on X. 4 Stephen Colbert announced the cancellation of 'The Late Show' last Thursday. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert CBS settled with President Trump after he sued the network alleging election interference over a '60 Minutes' interview with his 2024 opponent former Vice President Kamala Harris which he alleged was deceptively edited. Advertisement A clip from the interview, in which Harris was asked about the war in Gaza, was released on 'Face the Nation' prior to the '60 Minutes' broadcast and featured the former VP delivering an answer that was widely derided as 'word salad.' When the interview was finally broadcast, a different, more concise response was swapped in its place. 4 New York Post cover for Saturday, July 19th, 2025. csuarez CBS, however, claimed that 'The Late Show's' cancellation was due to financial reasons, saying the show lost some $40 million a year. Colbert is No. 1 in the late night timeslot among network talk show hosts (though he regularly comes behind Fox's Gutfeld), averaging around 2.4 million viewers per episode. Overall viewership for late night talk shows has steadily declined in recent years, leading to a decrease in total ad revenues. Colbert was tapped to host the 'Late Show' following Letterman's retirement after he hosted the widely acclaimed 'Colbert Report' on Comedy Central. 4 The Ed Sullivan Theater, where the 'Late Show' is recorded live, stands in midtown Manhattan on July 18, 2025 in New York City. When former President Joe Biden won the 2020 election, Colbert popped champagne on air and danced, proclaiming his joy in the election result. 'Ladies and gentlemen, Joe Biden did it! He's our next president! I'm so happy!' he proclaimed, adding that he cried tears of joy upon learning Trump would no longer be president.
