Talking about the story of the film Swarg, Kumar (Rajesh Khanna) lives in a palatial house with his wife Janaki (Madhavi), two brothers and youngest sister Jyoti (Juhi Chawla). Krishna (Govind) is the servant of the house who considers Kumar no less than God and calls him Sahebji. Dhanraj (Paresh Rawal), Kumar's business rival, destroys his factory, Kumar's brothers separate from him and Jyoti's marriage breaks up as Kumar is left with nothing. Krishna is his only support, who decides to stay with him till the end.
But he is framed for robbery and thrown out of the house. Apart from this, Janaki dies and Kumar starts living in a hut with Jyoti. Krishna goes to Bombay and becomes a big star. On returning, he comes to know what happened to Kumar and decides to destroy Dhanraj and Kumar's brothers.

According to investigators Krishna used cocaine and shared it with friends, and was active on WhatsApp groups that coordinated drug use. Actor Srikanth allegedly purchased and used cocaine and had links with the drug cartel as well. Both actors belong to prominent film families. Krishna's father is a film producer, and his brother, Vishnu Varadhan, is a noted director. Krishna has appeared in landmark Tamil films such as Anjali, Iruvar, and Thalapathy. The Tamil film industry is reportedly shaken up over the arrests, with fears that more names - including a few actresses - may emerge during the investigation. In response to rising concerns, Kerala-based film producers have made it mandatory for artists and crew to sign "No drug" affidavit before filming - a move Tamil producers are also considering. Chennai Police have made it clear that withholding information about drug possession or usage will now be treated as a criminal offence. However, did you know, the star comes with a price tag of nearly Rs 73 lakh? According to the Hollywood Walk of Fame's official website, anyone can nominate a celebrity for a star. Even a fan can submit a nomination, with the agreement of the celebrity or their management team. The website mentions, 'If there is no letter of agreement included from the celebrity or his/her representative, the committee will not accept the application." Upon being selected, the celebrity or a sponsor needs to pay a hefty amount for the star and its maintenance. The official website states, 'There is a $85,000 sponsorship fee upon selection. The fee is used to pay for the creation and installation of the star, as well as the maintenance of the Walk of Fame. Price subject to change." The amount is close to Rs 73 lakh upon conversion. Not just the star, but even the application form has a price. There is a $275 application fee (per submission every two years), which roughly converts to Rs 23,530. Thus, the total process has a whopping cost. Whether it is unclear whether Deepika Padukone paid for the star herself or if she was sponsored by someone, it is evident that the star has cost a fortune. Now, Deepika Padukone has a period of two years to schedule the unveiling ceremony, lest she lose her star. 'The recipient has up to two years to schedule their ceremony.
