On Saturday, June 7, Jacques and Gabriella joined their parents to welcome the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, and his wife, Brigitte Macron, for the couple's state visit to Monaco. As noted by Hello! magazine, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella's appearance at the event "marked the first time that the children had taken part in a state visit."
An Instagram post shared by the Royal Family of Monaco's official account said, "Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene welcomed, this Saturday, June 7, the President of the French Republic, Mr. Emmanuel Macron, and Mrs. Brigitte Macron, on the occasion of a state visit on the sign of friendship and co-operation between France and the Principality of Monaco." The caption continued, "Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella were also present to greet the presidential couple, demonstrating the familial and solemn character of this official reception."
Elaborating on the significance of the meeting, the caption noted, "During this visit, discussions highlighted the depth of historical, political, and human ties that unite the two nations." The post continued, "This meeting illustrates the continuity of a relationship based on shared values, mutual trust and a shared willingness to build together answers to great contemporary challenges."
If Jacques and Gabriella's appearance at Saturday's official engagement is any indication, Monaco's royal twins might start taking part in even more important events alongside their parents.

US officials have strongly condemned a criminal investigation by France into the social network X, owned by billionaire Elon Musk, on suspicion of foreign interference. 'He belongs in The Hague': Keir Starmer fiercely criticised over Gaza speech
KEIR Starmer has been warned he 'belongs in The Hague' for failing to call out and act on the genocide being committed in Gaza by Israel. The Prime Minister has faced fierce criticism following a speech where he said the 'appalling scenes in Gaza are unrelenting' and called for the need for a regional 'lasting peace'. However, despite his comments where he claims his 'ultimate goal' is to improve the lives of Palestinian's he has been told his government are "complicit" in the suffering of tens of thousands of people in Gaza due to his inaction against Israel. Starmer is under increasing pressure to recognise a Palestinian state, as 221 MPs signed a cross-party letter, organised by the Labour backbencher Sarah Champion, demanding he take the step. On Friday, Starmer set out his pathway where a Palestinian state could be recognised in a speech. He said: 'The appalling scenes in Gaza are unrelenting. The continued captivity of hostages, the starvation and denial of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people, the increasing violence from extremist settler groups, and Israel's disproportionate military escalation in Gaza are all indefensible. 'Alongside our closest allies, I am working on a pathway to peace in the region, focused on the practical solutions that will make a real difference to the lives of those that are suffering in this war. 'That pathway will set out the concrete steps needed to turn the ceasefire so desperately needed, into a lasting peace. Starmer added: 'Recognition of a Palestinian state has to be one of those steps. I am unequivocal about that. But it must be part of a wider plan which ultimately results in a two-state solution and lasting security for Palestinians and Israelis. This is the way to ensure it is a tool of maximum utility to improve the lives of those who are suffering – which of course, will always be our ultimate goal.' Sassuolo reach agreement to sign Marseille's Ismaël Koné
Not retained by Stade Rennais, Ismaël Koné (23) returned to Olympique de Marseille this summer. However, he does not have a future with Les Phocéens and has been training away from the first team.
