A new 'Ungaludan Stalin' website will go live on Tuesday, enabling users to check camp schedules, petition status, and resolution timelines. A digital tracking system will record each petition's details, who filed it, how long it has been pending, and what action was taken. "Petitions must be resolved within 45 days. If unresolved or if the response is unsatisfactory, people can reopen them. Departments will be pulled up for delays," revenue secretary P Amudha said.
In the city, the camps will be held in Madhavaram, Tondiarpet, Thiru Vi Ka Nagar, Teynampet, Valasaravakkam, and Adyar. The campaign, which will run till Nov, aims to bring over 40 essential services closer to residents through door-to-door drives and local grievance redressal camps. Camps will be held from Tuesday to Friday every week, with each district hosting six camps. A focused action phase is planned from July 15 through Aug.
"This is based on the chief minister's vision that people should not travel far to access services. The govt should reach them," said Amudha.
Over one lakh trained volunteers have been deployed across the state—6,832 in rural areas and the rest in urban locations—to visit homes, inform residents about the camps, and help them gather necessary documents. All district collectors and nodal officers have been trained to implement the drive.

"The services covered include patta changes, electricity and ration card name transfers, community and income certificates, property tax revisions, and inclusion of left-out beneficiaries in welfare schemes such as the Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai," she said.
In the first phase, 109 camps will be held from July 15 to August 14, with six camps organised daily across different zones. Each camp will run from 9 am to 3 pm.
Volunteers will go door to door seven days in advance to distribute application forms and awareness kits about the 43 services available from 13 departments. Applications submitted will be processed within 45 days. The initiative builds on the Muthalvarin Mugavari scheme, under which 1.05 crore petitions were received since 2021, with 1.01 crore resolved.

EPS rules out coalition government with BJP; says ‘Ungaludan Stalin' is a political gimmick
EPS with Amit Shah AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami on Monday reiterated that AIADMK would form the government on its own after winning the 2026 assembly election. The opposition leader has ruled out a coalition government in Tamil Nadu yet again, two days after Union minister Amit Shah said in a media interview that BJP would be part of the govt in the state after 2026. 'Our alliance would achieve a grand success in 2026. AIADMK will be victorious and will form a govt on its own,' said EPS. Speaking to reporters in Salem, EPS, however, said the AIADMK alliance was intact and strong, and that it is the DMK alliance which has multiple issues and rifts between the allies. 'Instead of forecasting the future of our alliance, Udhayanidhi should be focussing on safeguarding DMK alliance from a split,' EPS said. He was responding to remarks by deputy chief minister Udhayanidhi Stalin. With eight months remaining until election, EPS said more parties will join the AIADMK alliance. He then hit out chief minister M K Stalin for deputing senior IAS officers for 'Ungaludan Stalin' programme. EPS alleged that the government was using the program as a ploy to gather the phone numbers of public which will be used by DMK during the election to reach out to voters. He said govt officials have been told to collect phone numbers of the public. 'Afterward, they will use it to reach out to voters through the DMK IT wing and recruit them as party members,' he charged. He also alleged that Ungaludan Stalin program was a political gimmick. 'If the program was for the benefit of people, what was the govt doing for the past four and half years? Does it mean they did not work for the benefit of people,' he asked. He then alleged that Yadavamoorthy, the opposition leader of Salem Municipal Corporation, was roughed up by DMK councillors for exposing deficiencies in the civic body. Instead of taking action against the attackers, the victim has been booked by the police, EPS alleged. 'This is Stalin's model of govt,' he said.

2026 Tamil Nadu elections will mark a permanent farewell to Edappadi Palaniswami: CM Stalin
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Wednesday (July 16, 2025) said the upcoming State Assembly elections would mark a permanent farewell to AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami, alleging that even members of his own party no longer trust him. Mr. Stalin made the remarks while launching and inaugurating completed development projects and distributing welfare assistance in Mayiladuthurai district, during which he expressed criticism of both the AIADMK and BJP-led Union government. Responding to Mr. Palaniswami's criticism of the Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai scheme, Mr. Stalin said, 'He is unable to accept the scheme's success. His criticisms only serve to advertise our achievements. We implement this scheme without bias; even women from AIADMK families benefit.' He accused Mr. Palaniswami of reversing welfare progress during his tenure, pointing to the cancellation of the Moovalur Ramamirtham marriage assistance scheme and the free laptop distribution programme. 'Mr. Palaniswami says 'Tata, bye bye' to me. But since 2019, the people of Tamil Nadu have been saying the same to him. In the upcoming elections, it will be a permanent goodbye,' Mr. Stalin remarked. 'Even his own party cadres no longer believe in him.' Taking aim at Mr. Palaniswami's outreach to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Mr. Stalin alleged, that the AIADMK leader had knocked on Delhi's doors not for the people of Tamil Nadu but to escape raids and protect his family. 'He mortgaged a party built by lakhs of cadre,' Mr. Stalin alleged. On the issue of Tamil Nadu fishermen's frequent arrests by Sri Lankan authorities, Mr. Stalin criticised the Union government for political inaction. 'The BJP-led Union government has failed to act, while continuing to politicise the Katchatheevu issue. The Sri Lankan Foreign Minister clearly said the Tamil Nadu fishermen are intruding into their waters and that Katchatheevu will never be returned. And what has our External Affairs Minister said in response? Nothing.' Mr. Stalin reiterated his demand for the Prime Minister to directly intervene and bring a lasting solution to the issue. Mr. Stalin declared that the next government at the Centre would be a 'Dravidian Model 2.0 government', one that would serve as a national benchmark for inclusive and progressive governance. Earlier in the day, Mr. Stalin unveiled a statue of former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi at Vazhuvur village in Kuthalam taluk. He also held a brief roadshow near Dharmapuram, where he greeted school and college students as well as members of the general public.
