Shah Rukh Khan Not Injured On King Set, Undergoes Routine Treatment In US: Report
So, this trip is nothing out of the ordinary for him.
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama earlier, the superstar had sustained an injury while shooting an intense action sequence at Golden Tobacco studio in Mumbai. Though the specifics of the injury remain confidential, insiders reveal that SRK has now flown to the United States for medical attention.
'It's not a serious injury, but more of a muscular strain," a source close to the production shared. 'Over the years, Shah Rukh has picked up multiple injuries from stunt work, and this seems to be a result of accumulated stress." The insider added that the actor's team opted for precautionary care abroad, ensuring he receives the best treatment available.
King is a much-talked-about project, mainly because it stars Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh's daughter, alongside him — marking their first film together. There's also buzz that the film features a star-studded cast including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal and Abhay Verma. However, an official announcement is still awaited.
Before King, Shah Rukh was last seen in Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, which released in December 2023. The film starred Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, and Vicky Kaushal in key roles. Prior to that, he led the action blockbuster Jawan, directed by Atlee, which featured Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone and many others.

Tanishk Bagchi To NDTV On Saiyaara Creating Saiyaara Title Song: "People Knew Me For Remixes, Good That..."
For long, composer Tanishk Bagchi has been vilified in the industry and media for making recreated versions of popular songs such as Aankh Maarey, Dilbar, Jehda Nasha, and Lut Gaye. After the success of the Saiyaara title track, the music director is happy that people are recognising his work for an original piece of art. The film, which released last Friday and is directed by Mohit Suri, has received special praise for its melodious soundtrack. It stars newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. For Saiyaara, Tanishk Bagchi has created two songs Saiyaara and Saiyaara (female reprise) along with Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami. In an exclusive interview with NDTV, the music director spoke about Saiyaara, its music, and how important a role music plays in the success of a film. "The good part is that people are recognising me for an original song. Earlier, they used to put the tag of remixes on my work... I was going through a lot of ups and downs in my love life when I was making the song, and that also inspired my music a lot. While making the songs I realised, I haven't been able to give enough time to my relationship," the music composer told NDTV. Tanishk Bagchi said the credit of the film and its music goes to director Mohit Suri. "Mohit Suri believes I am most romantic, most aggressive in my romance (through music). Mohit first works on the songs because he treats an entire song like a situation. We finished work on the songs of the film a year before (we started shooting on the film)" he said. According to the music director, Aditya Chopra -- who has presented Saiyaara through his family banner Yash Raj Films -- liked the title track of the film just after listening to the song's scratch version. Composing for Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in Saiyaara was a different experience, said Tanishk Bagchi. "I met Aneet and Ahaan a couple of times. And, when I saw them for the first time, I thought that my song would blend with them. I couldn't put a finger on it but my song was going really well with the two of them," he said. "When I make music for established actors such as Varun Dhawan and Ranbir Kapoor, one has to keep certain things in mind. When you are composing for new faces, you get a lot of importance as a music composer. When working with established actors, their names come first, then the director finds a mention and then maybe at the fourth or fifth number, one may find the music director," he added. In the old days, music directors used to be an important part of filmmaking, said Tanishk Bagchi. "There were some music directors who used to give time to compose songs. There used to be music sittings. My father used to tell me that filmmakers would sit with RD Burman to create the music for the film. This is starting once again and I hope after Saiyaara people will start thinking actively about it."

Vidya Balan Supports ‘Flexible Working Hours' Amid Deepika Padukone's 8-Hr Shift Debate
Vidya Balan weighed in on the debate surrounding reasonable work hours after Deepika Padukone's exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit. Find out what she said! Vidya Balan recently reacted to the growing debate around reasonable working hours, and juggling motherhood and film schedules. She said that flexible working hours are especially important for women, particularly new mothers and those in the early years of motherhood. This comes in the wake of Deepika Padukone's exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit. Reports claimed that the actress, who recently became a mother, requested an eight-hour workday- a condition that reportedly didn't go over well with the filmmaker. While speaking with The Hollywood Reporter India, Vidya Balan said, 'There is conversation about how mothers need to have an option to work for fewer hours, flexible hours, right? And I think that's fair," she said. The actress further added, 'Every industry is adopting those practices so that we don't lose out on new mothers, or women in the early years of them having children, so I think it's very important that we do have flexible working hours for women." However, while speaking about her own working hours, Vidya Balan stated that since she is not a mother, she can afford to do 12-hour shifts, and does not feel the need to limit herself to an eight-hour workday. 'With the kind of films that I do, we cannot afford to shoot only for eight hours," she said. 'And I am not a mother, so I have all the time in the world to be doing a 12-hour shift." Several other actors such as Sonakshi Sinha, Neha Dhupia, Soha Ali Khan, Kajol, and others backed Deepika amid the growing debate around reasonable work hours for actors. Meeanwhile, on the professional front, Vidya Balan was last seen in the horror comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which was released on Diwali last year. Helmed by Anees Bazmee, the film also stars Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri and Madhuri Dixit Nene in the lead roles. Backed by Bhushan Kumar, the film was a big hit and even surpassed the lifetime collection of its predecessor, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The actress is yet to announce her next project.
