Emmerdale set for 'explosive' scenes as twisted feuds spark danger and betrayal
Emmerdale fans will witness three key families on the show facing being torn apart by dark rivalries, feuds and deceit, both within the families and with each other There's bound to be hectic, drama-filled and some potentially devastating scenes on Emmerdale in the coming weeks. Three big families on the show are all at war with each other, and two of those families have feuds rumbling between relatives too. It's nothing new seeing loved ones clash, betrayals spark horror and relationships tested. But in upcoming scenes there's somewhat of a battle triangle going on. Arguably three of soap's most well known families, the Tates, the Dingles and the Sugdens, are about to feature in an almighty clash. Tate duo Kim and Joe might have the last laugh though, as it's the other two clans who are at war within their families as well as with other village households. It's certainly a messy time ahead, but how far will they all go? We can guarantee eventful episodes ahead with tense scenes, probably some humour too while things may even take a dark turn. After all, one resident is causing "mayhem" with more than one villain, while one couple face losing everything if another duo get their own way. Our soap source teased: "The Dingles, Sugdens and the Tates are three iconic soap families. To be against each other is one thing and will lead to explosive scenes - but for those within the clans to be at war too could lead to all kinds of upset. "They may band together when times get tough, but they're also quick to turn on one another if they need to. Family code is quickly thrown out of the window where ultimatums and betrayals are concerned." Robert Sugden in particular could have a tough battle on his hands after his vow to cause carnage recently. Our insider explained: "Robert may need to watch his back. He's crossed both his killer brother John Sugden and iconic village 'villain' Kim Tate. Robert has proven time and time again he's not one to be messed with though, so it's anyone's guess how this latest backstabbing will turn out. "Robert could find himself the unlucky next victim of John, as he continues desperately in his attempt to expose his brother's dark lies unaware of just who he's messing with. As for Kim, she's got the unpredictable and rather villainous Joe Tate on her side, so perhaps Robert should watch out before creating an enemy of them." It seems the Tates, for now, could finally have each other's backs with them busy targeting other families. "Kim and Joe have become this dynamic duo, and while they do question each other's loyalties every now and again, they often get a plan in motion and are determined to see it through," our soap expert said. "With Moira Dingle their next target, it's not long before the two families are at war. "But it sets off a chain of events that cause an implosion of sorts amid the Dingle clan, and some rather close siblings are suddenly locked in a feud. Loyalties are tested, ultimatums are issued and someone gets arrested." Fans will be used to seeing the Dingles rowing, but might things be irreversible this time? Our soap insider went on: "We've seen the Dingles fall out before, it's nothing new. Their claims of sticking together seem to be selective. But this time, with Sam and wife Lydia possibly choosing the Tates, a known Dingle enemy, over their own family, it could lead to their most explosive family feud yet. "We know Cain finds it difficult to forgive and forget, and he and Sam can be as stubborn as each other. But if Sam and Lydia form an alliance with Kim despite her and Joe's plans to get Moira's farm, risking her livelihood and her home, we can't imagine Cain letting his go so easily." It's not just the Dingles turning on each other though, with Victoria Sugden caught in the middle of her brothers John and Robert. Our insider said: "The Sugdens are at war with each other, well Robert and John are. Robert's also risking war with the Tates, who are locked in for battle with the Dingles. So adding the Dingle's feuding with each other into the mix, and we've got ourselves some no doubt fiery, tense and high drama scenes on the way in the coming weeks and months." Hollyoaks quietly recast character as they make show return after 3 years away
HOLLYOAKS has quietly recast a fan favourite character as they make a show return. After 3 years away, viewers of the Channel 4 soap will finally get to see the comeback of a village resident, albeit in a different form. 3 The role of Faith Hudson was previously played by two twins named Elsie and Lyla in 2022. She is the daughter of soap regular Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart) and was first seen on-screen in 2020. However, producers have now chosen young actress Lottie Tatton to take over the role and play the character. In recent years, Faith has been absent from the soap and the storyline had her being located abroad. She was supposedly staying with her uncle Denis (Joe Tracini) across the world in New Zealand. However, recent scenes revealed that Denis was killed off screen, and Faith had to return to the village for a reunion with her mum. Fellow soap star Tina O'Brien, 41, runs her own acting school, The Drama Mob. The institution shared a post on social media as it confirmed that its student Lottie has taken on the prestigious role. The post read: "A huge well done to our fabulous Lottie who has just made her debut on Hollyoaks playing Faith Hudson! "Lottie has been a member of the Drama Mob family since she was born - her mum Jenna is one of our amazing teachers!" Watch as Hollyoaks love twist is revealed It added: "We're so proud of her and know she's going to absolutely smash it! Well done Lottie!' It is thought that Faith might be in the centre of a forthcoming dramatic storyline within the serial drama. Her mother Liberty is set to become more and more entangled with serial killer Jez (Jeremy Sheffield) over the coming weeks. The Sun has contacted Hollyoaks for comment. Hollyoaks - cast member cull HOLLYOAKS beauty Chelsee Healey has dropped the biggest hint yet she's been axed from the soap - yet what's happening at the Channel 4 show? Earlier this year, the Channel 4 soap was forced to address the cull of cast members. It came after The Sun was first to report Hollyoaks bosses plan to kill off a whopping 20 cast members. Now Chelsee, who recently took time away from her role as Goldie McQueen to give birth to her second daughter, has now made a cryptic move on X. The Manchester lass, 36, re-posted a picture of her character crying to her page. It came after Stephanie Waring, famed for her 28-year-long role as Cindy Cunningham, confirmed that soap bosses had axed her as part of the 20-person strong cast cull. Another big name set to quit for good is popstar turned soap star Jamelia. The soap's resident hunk and TV favourite Owen Warner has also left the show amid the cuts with fans left devastated to say goodbye to his character Romeo Nightingale. Jamie Lomas has also quit the show and will depart his Warren Fox role soon. Haiesha Mistry famed for her role as Yasmine Maalik has also left after seven years. 3

Line of Duty star's drama that will 'seize your soul' launches on BBC
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Today marks the day that Jimmy McGovern's highly anticipated latest TV project lands on BBC iPlayer. The new one-part drama, Unforgivable, stars Anna Maxwell Martin as Katherine, an ex-nun and therapist who works at an institution called St Maura's. Anna was introduced as DCS Patricia Carmichael in BBC One's crime drama Line of Duty back in 2019, a character known for her passive aggressive and unpleasant demeanour. In Unforgivable, Katherine works alongside lead character Joe (Bobby Schofield) as he finishes his two-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to sexually abusing a family member. Brookside star Anna Friel plays Joe's sister, Anna, who is tackling the aftermath of her family's trauma whilst protecting her two sons. Anna's contact with her inmate brother infuriates her father Brian (David Threlfall), who can't stand the fact that she is in contact with her brother, Joe. The Liverpool-set series also features Adolescence child actor Austin Haynes alongside Phina Oruche, Mark Womack and Fin McPartland in his TV debut. As well as being a best-selling author, screenwriter Jimmy has worked on many shows over the years that tackle social issues and injustice. Over the years, he's worked on Channel 4's Brookside, the docudrama Hillsborough and most recently the Bafta award-winning series Time, starring Sean Bean and Stephen Graham. Speaking to the BBC about his previous work on screen, McGovern said: 'It's got to seize my soul and if it doesn't do that then I won't be able to sit at the computer to write.' A description of Unforgivable reads: 'The Mitchell family deal with the devastating aftermath of an act of sexual abuse committed by a member of their own family who, after two years, is about to leave prison.' When the cast for the series was first confirmed, Jimmy told Radio Times: 'I can't believe the cast and crew that have been assembled for this production. It's a challenging film, yes, but I can't wait for it to be shown.' The release of Unforgivable comes shortly after Netflix added all four episodes of a 'gripping' spy thriller starring another Line of Duty star. Set in 1886, the drama The Secret Agent follows a man called Verloc (Toby Jones), who owns a sex shop in Victorian-era Soho. More Trending On the side, he's an informer for the Russian embassy tasked with spying on revolutionary groups, with Line of Duty icon Vicky McClurer playing his wife, Winnie. To round out the top of the call sheet, Stephen Graham joins them as the police Chief Inspector Heat. Unforgivable is available to stream on BBC iPlayer and airs tonight at 9pm on BBC Two.
