Hollyoaks scandal as Jez and Liberty's affair is exposed - in an unexpected way

This is the moment that Jez Blake's (Jeremy Sheffield) scandalous affair with Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart) is exposed in upcoming Hollyoaks scenes. The controversial relationship, which kicked off earlier this year, has received quite a reaction from fans, with Liberty dressing up as her dead mum – Jez's ex! – in a bid to make him fall for her. Unable to resist, Jez started to see Liberty in secret, all the while he carried on planning his wedding to John Paul McQueen (James Sutton). John Paul, however, called off the wedding earlier this week, coming to believe that his fiancé was keeping one too many secrets from him. He's not wrong, with the gardener being a cold-blood serial killer, who claimed another victim in Bobby Costello (Zak Sutcliffe) during the latest episode! With Jez and JP's nuptials having been halted, Liberty called by the allotment to check in on Jez – who is none other than her beloved sister Sienna Blake's (Anna Passey) father. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video And it doesn't stop there as upcoming scenes will see Lib check in on Jez once more. Jez responds by leaning in for a kiss but Liberty pulls away, telling him that he needs to prove he's serious about them having a future together. Left with food for thought, Jez decides to show his commitment later that day when he, Sienna, Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) and Lib head to The Dog, which is re-opening its doors after months. John Paul, meanwhile, shows up at the event too and he approaches Jez, who remains cold towards him. Seizing an opportunity to cause a stir, the sick serial killer publicly kisses Liberty! The moment of passion leaves not only John Paul in shock but also Sienna, who is left reeling to witness her beloved sister kissing her dad. More Trending Awkward! Sienna, in fact, rejects the relationship entirely, truly horrified by it all – as does Dodger. The question is: can they talk sense into Liberty? Or will Liberty perhaps find herself in danger from Jez? Or will it be Sienna and Dodger that face his wrath? Legendary ITV police drama star 'helps police arrest real-life criminal'

An actor who spent nearly 25 years playing a police officer on The Bill has helped combat a real-life criminal. From 1984 to 2008 Jeff Stewart took on the role of PC Reg Hollis on the ITV drama series. The police procedural focused on the lives and work of one shift of police officers of all ranks, with the storylines following situations faced by uniformed officers working on the beat, as well as plainclothes detectives. Joining the series the year it began, Jeff first appeared in the premiere episode Funny Ol' Business – Cops & Robbers. By 2007 he was the last member of the cast remaining from that first episode. His character was written off the following year, with The Bill then ending in 2010. Now, it appears the 69-year-old actor took a leaf out of his character's playbook after stepping in to stop a crime. Earlier this week Southampton resident Mohamed Diallo, 29, appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court, where details of the incident were revealed. The court was that after Diallo shoplifted and attempted to escape on a bicycle, Jeff jumped into action by sitting on the suspect's legs after he fell from the bike, while officers handcuffed him. 'In policing you should always expect the unexpected, but this really wasn't on The Bill for this week,' a Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said. 'Officers making an arrest in Southampton were aided by none other than TV's Pc Reg Hollis during an incident on Wednesday 23 July. 'The officers, from Bargate Neighbourhoods Policing Team, were in the city in the afternoon when they were alerted by staff at Co-op in Ocean Way to a suspected shoplifter, who attempted to make good his escape on a bicycle.' To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video They continued: 'The thief, 29-year-old Mohamed Diallo, fell off the bike during his attempts to flee, before officers pounced to make their arrest. 'To their surprise, local TV legend Jeff Stewart, who played Pc Hollis for 24 years in The Bill, came to their aid by sitting on the suspect's legs while officers put him in cuffs. 'Long since retired from Sun Hill station – but he's still got it.' In video of the arrest released by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, officers thanked Jeff before asking for a group photo. He replied: 'No, sure, man. Well, I was in The Bill for 24 years, in the TV show. Yeah, I played Reg.' Diallo was charged with five counts of theft, to which he pleaded guilty. Diallo was convicted of the theft of £17.25 worth of coffee from a Co-op on July 23, theft of £69.90 worth of coffee and food items on July 17, and £54.50 of alcohol and coffee from the same shop on July 14. More Trending He also admitted stealing £80 of wine from a Sainsburys on July 14 and £63 worth of alcohol from another on April 22. He was released on bail and will be sentenced on August 29. The smoking gun needed to take down John uncovered by Robert in Emmerdale twist

Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) has uncovered a huge piece of information that proves Owen Michaels (Simon Haines) did not kill Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) in Emmerdale. Of course, we know he didn't, but the residents believe he did after DS Walsh found a note on his laptop confirming to the murder. This discovery was made at the same time Walsh and Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) found Owen dead. It looked as though he had ended his life, but John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) let him die after finding him unconscious last week. With the so-called developments now village gossip, Robert grew suspicious yesterday when Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) mentioned Owen planting Nate's phone in Frankie's playhouse. He though it was unbelievably strange for Owen to do this, and wondered why he'd take such a risk – surely you'd just lay low? With this in his mind, Robert was given another reason to grow curious about his brother in tonight's episode, when Claudette (Flo Wilson) said that John visited Owen before he died. A theory being fuelled, Robert was then seen outside Mill Cottage, watching John in his van. The medic was emptying a very full sharps bin into a cardboard box. Robert couldn't understand why John would have so many medical items in his van – but made a mistake by not following John to the scrapyard. There, John poured the sharps bin contents into a metal container and set fire to it. He was caught by Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), but managed to create a cover story by saying he needed to dispose of them for the surgery, and cut corners so they could get on the road for their camping trip quicker. While this was happening, Robert was busy making contact with Owen's brother. Outside The Hide, Steve wasn't really in any mood to talk about Owen. Let's not forget this man spiked Robert a few weeks ago – he was hardly a pillar of the community. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? But Robert needed information to back up his thoughts on John. Eventually, Steve confirmed that he was with Owen the day Nate was killed – and they were in Hull. More Trending This was massive. It was proof that Owen did not kill Nate but the problem? Steve didn't want to tell the police. This was because the job the siblings were doing in Hull was apparently something the police didn't need to know about. Because of this, Steve walked away, not wanting to get involved.
