Moira enters a deal with the devil in Emmerdale as she takes a huge risk
Celia, recognising the financial pressures both women are under, drops by the Dingle farm to pitch a partnership. She suggests they combine forces: Moira would supply beef from her farm, while Celia would market and sell her poultry products to a reliable supplier.
The plan aims to increase income for both and provide stability amid tough market conditions.
Celia explains that her outgoings have increased by £1000 a month, thanks to her sly landlord, and she's aware of Moira's financial position. She sees a win-win opportunity for both women to solve both their problems. More Trending
Initially, Moira is cautious. Known for her independence and strong will, she is wary of entering a deal that could put her farm's future in uncertain hands. The idea of partnering with someone else, especially amid existing challenges, doesn't come easily to her.
However, after careful consideration of the risks and benefits, Moira agrees to the venture, seeing it as a necessary step to keep the farm afloat.
Following the deal, Moira shares the hopeful news with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), her long-time adversary, and appeals to him to put their feud aside for the sake of the farm. She asks Joe to draw a line under past conflicts, emphasising the importance of unity in difficult times.

This partnership shows a different side of Moira, one that's willing to put pride aside and take a chance when it matters most. With so much at stake, it's clear she's ready to fight for the farm's future, even if it means trusting others and stepping into uncertain territory. Viewers will be keeping a keen eye to see how this gamble pays off.

EastEnders fan-favourite says tearful goodbye in early iPlayer release
This article contains spoilers for tonight's episode of EastEnders, which airs at 7.30pm on BBC One or can be streamed now on iPlayer. Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier) has made a tearful farewell to nephew Jimmy after committing a serious crime. Earlier this week, his thuggish associate Fat Mike (Tai Hilferink) demanded a whopping 5k in exchange for the Branning-Beale family's safety. At a lost cause with where to find this money, Oscar attempted to get a few extra shifts at Ian Beale's (Adam Woodyatt) chippy, but his efforts fell flat. He even suggested that the businessman expand his empire selling food at the park. Desperate, he told sister Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) of his predicament, and she begged her boss Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) for an advance on her wages. He told her that she'd have to sell some cars before he could find the money – something she was prepared to do to save her family from further turmoil. As Jay went to collect Lauren's wages, an unaware Oscar set about finding an alternative cash source. Across the road, Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) was horrified to spot a masked intruder holding his bookies winnings. He slammed the living room door closed and prepared to stage an intervention when the robber launched towards him. During the scuffle, Patrick's head hit the floor and he was knocked unconscious. The burglar was of course Oscar. In tonight's episode, he called emergency services from Patrick's phone before preparing to flee. When Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) arrived at the scene of the crime, he made a run for it. Just moments before, Lauren had a run in with Mike, and handed over her wages from Jay. She and Oscar have doubled up on the cash. Oscar's concern began to grow as he watched the police and ambulance presence in The Square, and Lauren was confused as to why he was so visibly worried for a man he doesn't really know. Emmerdale confirms new target for Ray in ITVX release and its a major character
The following article contains spoilers from an episode of Emmerdale that hasn't aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX. Drug dealer Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) has confirmed which Emmerdale resident he intends to target next. Ray was introduced to us a couple of weeks ago, when Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) invited him to the village to consider buying the weed plants Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) had been growing. Mack ended up clashing with Lewis and Ross Barton (Michael Parr) over this, as they made it clear the plants weren't for selling to a dodgy dealer. The weed disappeared from the barn and this was because Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) had sold it to Ray. Now, we're beginning to learn a bit more about the new character and the very dangerous work he offers young people. Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) returned to the village last week. He was found in the church by April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan), who believed the claims that he had completely turned his life around after attending rehab. In reality, Dylan had just broken into a barn at Butlers and was living rough again. In this evening's episode, we discovered more about his connection to Ray, as it became apparent the youngster had been taking part in 'drug drop offs' for money. Dylan had spent the night at Mandy and Paddy's (Lisa Riley and Dominic Brunt) and wanted to focus on getting his life back on track, which meant ignoring messages from Ray. After lying to April about where he was going, Dylan eventually met up with Ray to ask him for some time off. He explained that he was living with a local vet and wanted to hang out with April a bit more. Ray pretended to be understanding and told Dylan that was no problem, and handed him some cash from the previous job. More Trending Just before the instalment ended though, Ray's true intentions were revealed. While on the phone, he watched Dylan and April together. Hollyoaks actor John Middleton lets slip huge spoiler and it's bad news for one character
Hollyoaks actor John Middleton appeared on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain John Middleton spoke all about his new Hollyoaks role on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain. The actor, 71, who is best known for playing Emmerdale's kind-hearted vicar Ashley Thomas for 21 years has now joined the rival Channel 4 soap as "evil character" Froggy Black. John is playing convict Froggy, the grandfather to notorious characters Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix) and Grace Black (Tamara Wall). Currently a resident of Longmere prison, Froggy has struck up an alliance with the newly imprisoned 'Tax Man' Tom Cunningham (Ellis Hollins), who has become his clandestine financial adviser. Recent episodes have shown Tom plotting against his old nemesis Clare, apparently collaborating with Froggy in his schemes. Froggy's storyline kicks off when he learns shocking news about Gracie's location from Tom, prompting him to take action. Yet, it remains to be seen if his grandchildren will accept him with open arms... Talking about the storyline and new role on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain, host Ed Balls asked of his character: "Are you going to be reformed?" To which John teased of Froggy: "I might appear reformed but he knows a lot of secrets about other people and in fact one in particular if he revealed what he knows about that person's past... it would be catastrophic..." He added: "We'll have to see how the story develops..." Meanwhile fellow host Kate Garraway asked: "Prison reform are you [Froggy] going to turn it on its head?" to which John admitted: "I somehow doubt it with the way things are going..." Soap watchers will recall that John played Emmerdale vicar Ashley from 1996 to 2017. Ashley's slow deterioration after his dementia diagnosis saw him lose his memory, no longer able to recognise his wife, Laurel and their children in emotional scenes. The character tragically passed away in 2017, leaving viewers in tears over the heartbreaking and poignant scenes. In 2017, John won Best Male Dramatic Performance at The British Soap Awards for his heartbreaking portrayal of Ashley amid the character's dementia diagnosis. Since leaving Emmerdale, John showcased his talents in Strangers on a Train, playing American detective Arthur Gerard. In 2021, John took on the role of Frank in the one-man show Hull and High Water, and throughout 2022 and 2023, he portrayed Colonel Pickering in the UK Tour of My Fair Lady. Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday on E4 at 7pm and first look episodes can be streamed Channel 4 from 7am.
