Princess of Wales: As nature revives and renews, so can we
The Princess was filmed for the social media video with the Prince, her husband, during their recent visit to the Isle of Mull. She hopes to convince people to step away from the 'digital' world and connect with nature.
She has spoken previously about how the outdoors helped her during her cancer treatment and recovery, leaving her with a newfound appreciation for nature.
The video, entitled Spring, is part of a new quarterly series, with Summer, Autumn and Winter to come.
The Princess tells social media viewers: 'Just as nature revives and renews, so too can we. Let us reconnect to nature and celebrate a new dawn within our hearts.'
The film, which is nearly three minutes long, shows the Prince and Princess of Wales on the Isle of Mull, walking through woodland, examining flowers and with their arms around each other looking out to see.
In one shot, the Prince is seen sitting and gazing skywards.
Other footage appears to have been filmed in cities, showing trees in blossom, and parks.
The launch coincides with the start of Mental Health Awareness Week and is spearheaded by the Princess herself.
Kensington Palace said the Mother Nature series was a 'reflection of the beauty and complexity of the human experience'.
The Princess said: 'Over the past year, nature has been my sanctuary. The natural world's capacity to inspire us, to nurture us and help us heal and grow is boundless and has been understood for generations.
'It is through nature, that we can fully understand the true interconnectedness of all things, the importance of balance and the importance of renewal and resilience. Connecting to nature helps us to experience a deeper sense of ourselves, the world around us, and each other.
'Spring is a season of rebirth, of hope and new beginnings. From the dark days of winter, the outside world quietly awakens with new life, and there comes a sense of optimism, anticipation, and positive, hopeful change.
'Just as nature revives and renews so too can we. Let us reconnect to nature and celebrate a new dawn within our hearts.
'It is often from the smallest of seeds that the greatest change can happen, and in this ever-growing complex world, we need to hold on to what connects us all. Spring is here, so let's make the most of it together.'
The video was posted with a personal message from the Princess, signed 'C' for Catherine.
It reads: 'This year's Mental Health Awareness Week, we are celebrating humanity's longstanding connection to nature, and its capacity to inspire us and help us to heal and grow in mind, body and spirit.
'As we confront the challenges of an increasingly complex and digital world, the importance of the connection between humanity and nature takes on even more significance.

The Princess has supported efforts to encourage children outdoors for some years, creating the Back to Nature garden at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2019.
She recently joined a Scouts expedition in Cumbria, and a series of engagements including at children's hospice Ty Hafan and a Welsh community garden have highlighted outdoor activities.
Kensington Palace said: 'Through the new video series, we will be spotlighting the beauty of our changing seasons here in the UK, and in doing so aiming to remind everyone just how much good can be done by spending time in nature – wherever you live in the country.'

Other British nominees include Sir Gary Oldman for Slow Horses and Aimee Lou Wood for The White Lotus, while other shows picking up multiple nominations included Severance, The Bear and Bad Sisters. First look at Nick Frost as Hagrid in Harry Potter HBO TV series
Filming is under way on the Harry Potter TV series and today the first picture has been released of the British actor and comedian Nick Frost as the beloved groundskeeper Rubeus Hagrid. Frost, best known for Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, undertakes the role originally played by Robbie Coltrane in the Harry Potter film franchise. Having sold more than 600 million copies worldwide, Harry Potter is the bestselling book franchise and spawned an eight-movie series that grossed almost $8 billion at the global box office. But with almost 15 years since the last film starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint was released, the magical world of the original stories is about to arrive on our screens again in the shape of an ambitious HBO streaming series set to run across a decade. All seven books will be adapted at a budget reported to be greater than House of the Dragon's $200 million per series, so Potter fans are likely to be in for a treat when the new series is finally released. Here's everything we know so far about the programme. What is the new Harry Potter series about? The new series is described as a faithful adaptation of the original seven books that make up the Harry Potter series. Calum Best has opened up on a secret heartbreak after he was rejected for the 'first time' from a girl he thought was going to be 'the one'. The son of legendary late footballer George Best, 44, candidly discussed the failed relationship on the latest episode of Rylan: How to Be in Love. After finally finding what he thought was going to be his forever partner, Calum said he was truly 'humbled' when she walked away from their relationship. Speaking to host Rylan Clark, Calum said it was the first time he outwardly said 'I love you' and even discussed starting a family. He said: 'I was humbled for the first time… I met a girl last year and for the first time in my 44 years that I felt this, ahh this is what I've been looking for, this feeling that I haven't had before. 'It was the first time I outwardly said 'I love you' and we spoke about having a kid, we spoke about having a family... 'And then I go, yes, this could be it! And then she thought different. And I went, wow, that has humbled me sincerely.' Calum's rollercoaster love life was never far from the headlines, with Calum dating names including Sarah Harding, Bianca Gascoigne and even Lindsay Lohan. George's battle with alcoholism finally took his life in 2005, which sent Calum into a tailspin of self destruction and grief. It was during this time that Calum was also a contestant on Celebrity Love Island, and won the second series with Bianca Gascoigne. Despite their winning title, the pair split up shortly after their stint on the dating series. Calum had already earned a reputation for his rollercoaster love life, having dated Girls Aloud star Sarah back in 2005. In 2006, he enjoyed a brief romance with Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberly, but their relationship quickly fizzled out. Later in 2006, Calum was given the chance to brush with some of Hollywood's finest, as he started dating actress Lindsay Lohan, at the height of her Mean Girls success. However, things took a turn when Calum confessed Lindsay dumped him after becoming fed up with his attempts to flirt with other women, and he wrote in his memoir: 'The two of us together are combustible. At this moment in our lives, we're both a bit nuts. 'We both like to party a lot and it makes things tempestuous.'
