Notre Dame could land Kaydon Finley, Devin Fitzgerald and Brayden Robinson this weekend

Yahooa day ago
This weekend could be very prosperous for Notre Dame football, as three of its top targets have set their commitment dates on back-to-back-to-back days.
Let's take a look at who is making their college choice along with the Irish's chances, starting with the first announcement on July 4th.

Texas wide receiver Kaydon Finley will make his pick between Texas, Texas A&M and the Irish. He's one of the top prospects in the country, ranking as the No. 110 player according to the 247Sports Composite. This recruitment looks very promising for Notre Dame, as there are three crystal ball picks on 247Sports favoring the Irish.
The next scheduled player to commit is another receiver in Arizona's Devin Fitzgerald on July 5th. The son of NFL legend Larry will pick one of four teams: Stanford, Clemson, UCLA or Notre Dame. At 6-foot, 2-inches and 205-pounds, the younger Fitzgerald is ranked as the No. 488 prospect by 247Sports. They also like the Irish's chances, but not quite as confident with just one crystal ball pick for the Blue and Gold.
Lastly, Brayden Robinson, another receiver, will make his pick on July 6th. The Irish are battling Miami and Arizona for the nation's No. 340 prospect in the 247Sports rankings. Like Fitzgerald, there is just one crystal ball and while it does favor Notre Dame, it's not all that encouraging.
It's hard to imagine that the Irish land all three, and while that is a possibility, they already have two other receivers committed in the 2026 class. Finley and Fitzgerald are at the top of my 'want' list, but that's just personal preference. It very well could be a big Fourth of July weekend for Notre Dame.

Finer details of Barcelona midfielder's imminent move to Mallorca

After weeks of speculation, Pablo Torre looks set to leave Barcelona on a permanent deal, with Mallorca emerging as the next destination. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has already given his customary 'here we go' for the deal, which should be announced as soon as tomorrow. Advertisement A recent report from Mundo Deportivo has offered some key insights into Torre's move to Mallorca, detailing the transfer fee as well as the various clauses involved. Details of Torre's move to Mallorca As per the report, Torre will Mallorca for a fee of €5 million, which is quite minuscule for Barcelona. However, the Catalans have retained various clauses which will help the club gain control of the player's future, one way or the other. For one, Barcelona will hold a 50% future sell-on fee, meaning the Catalans are entitled to half of Torre's future transfer fee, whenever he departs from Mallorca. This could prove to be crucial, especially if Torre enjoys a big breakthrough at Mallorca and lights up the La Liga in the near future. Apart from a buyback and a sell-on clause, Barcelona also have the right to match an offer should Mallorca decide to sell the player. This is quite similar to a first refusal clause, where Mallorca must consult with Barcelona first should they receive any offer for the midfielder. The Catalans will have the option to match that offer, and the transaction will go through only if the Blaugrana refuse the right to match option. The report adds that Torre's move to Mallorca could be officiated soon, perhaps as soon as Monday or Tuesday.
