has landed a major project amidst his hiatus from
WWE
since the culmination of WrestleMania season. After initial speculations, it was confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter that The Tribal Chief would play the role of Akuma in the live-action Street Fighter film.
This marks a huge milestone in the career of one of the biggest WWE superstars of the modern era. However, so far in his professional life, Reigns is not a stranger to the bright lights of Hollywood.
The record-setting former Undisputed WWE Champion has been a part of key movie projects in his life. While he did not have much larger roles as the one in Street Fighter, Reigns did have significant presence onsceen. As he gears up to begin filming for Street Fighter later on, here is a look back at Roman Reigns' top three movie roles so far.
3. Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw

Roman Reigns' first major presence on the silver screen came in the popular franchise, Fast and Furious. He made a cameo appearance as Matteo, who is the cousin of one of the protagonists, Luke Hobbs, played by none other than his own cousin, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, alongside Jason Statham. Both WWE superstars represented their Samoan culture in the film, and it marked the start of Reigns' journey in the world of film and acting.

2. Rumble
Roman Reigns provided the voice of "Ramarilla Jackson", a powerful gorilla-like monster wrestler in the 2021 film Rumble, which also saw fellow WWE superstar Becky Lynch being a part of the cast. Reigns' voice provided the gradeur and much-needed personality to the animated character that was needed, and eventually became a top project in his film career so far.
1. Good Fortune
After Roman Reigns' remarkable reign of 1,316 days as Undisputed WWE Champion came to an end at WrestleMania 40, he took a hiatus from the company. Around the time, he began filming for the movie, 'Good Fortune', which is set to release on October 17, 2025. He is reportedly said to have a cameo role, but got a chance to work with industry greats like Seth Rogen, making it a top project in his resume.

The Meerut-born actor recently unveiled his new house in Ganga Nagar, Meerut, a dream-come-true built with contributions from his entire family. 'We always lived in a government quarter. This is our first home, and everyone put in their bit to make it real,' he said.
