Elliot Page debuts first romance since marriage split
Elliot Page has debuted his first public relationship since his 2021 divorce.
The 38-year-old actor celebrated Pride month by unveiling his new romance with Overcompensating star Julia Shiplett, 38, with a sweet post on Instagram.
Elliot shared a picture of them cuddling on a street painted rainbow and captioned the picture with rainbow and double heart emojis.
Julia also shared some pictures of Elliot shirtless in a hot spring to her Instagram Stories.
She added the exhaling and the water droplet emojis and wrote: 'Happy prideee.'
This is the first public romance for Elliot since his marriage to Emma Portner ended four years ago.
The pair tied the knot in 2018 and Emma was publicly supportive when Elliot came out as transgender in December 2020.
However, they filed for divorce in January 2021 and revealed they had been secretly separated since the previous summer.
They said in a joint statement at the time: 'After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce following our separation last summer. We have the utmost respect for each other and remain close friends.'
While Julia is Elliot's first public partner since the split, he revealed previously that he was enjoying dating following the divorce and his transition.
He told the Los Angeles Times: 'It's the most fun I've ever had dating. Interacting with people feels so much easier and more connected, because I'm not feeling lost in myself and not seen in the right way.'

Tulisa's dad has died
Tulisa's dad has died. The N-Dubz star has taken to Instagram to announce the loss of her father Steve Contostavlos - who went by the name of Plato - but she didn't share any details as to when the Mungo Jerry keyboardist had passed away. Sharing a childhood photo of herself and her dad, Tulisa wrote on Tuesday (01.07.25): "Love you pops, rest in peace. Forever my father's daughter." Her cousin and N-Dubz bandmate Dappy had also shared a video of himself with his uncle, alongside a white dove emoji. When Tulisa commented on the post with a broken heart emoji, he replied: "I'm so sorry T." The former X Factor Judge previously revealed how her dad helped her develop her passion for music at a young age. She told Ferne Cotton on her Happy Place podcast: "My dad had a little studio in Dollis Hill and he used to bring me there sometimes when he was working. He put me on the mic at the age of five. I was singing Little Mermaid. "I just knew there was nothing else I felt passionate about." And the Number One hitmaker previously explained she and her dad were more "friends" than sharing a typical father/daughter relationship. She told Paul C Brunson on his We Need To Talk podcast: "Me and my dad's relationship has not been a conventional one. "I would say me and my dad now we're just more friends that kind of have an understanding of one another." In the same interview, Tylisa told how she became "dependent" on prescription drugs after self-medicating with sleeping pills to "numb the pain" after her dog got cancer, but she feared she was "going to die" after she tried to quit. She said: "I was dependent without knowing... I just went cold turkey for five days and I ended up in hospital because I didn't know, but my body had become dependent on it. "I felt like I was having a heart attack. I had pains in my chest.... I just literally felt like I was going to die. "Once I overcame that in January, I didn't know how much I had been affected by it and I started to feel alive again. "I started to feel me, as a human. I was like, 'Oh my god, this is reality'. I couldn't determine anymore what was real and what wasn't in terms of my anxiety, my depression. "I didn't know what was what. Then it takes so long for your body to get back to normal again and for your nervous system to recover."

James Gunn: Adria Arjona would be a 'great' Wonder Woman
James Gunn believes Adria Arjona would be a "great" Wonder Woman. The 58-year-old filmmaker and his long-time producer Peter Safran became co-chairmen and co-CEOs of DC Studios in 2022 and he recently sparked speculation he would be casting the Hit-Man star as the Amazon warrior princess after following her on social media. And while James insisted he wasn't making a statement with his social media activity, he acknowledged Adria - who he worked with in 2016 when she starred in 2016's The Belko Experiment, which he wrote and produced - would be a great addition to the DC Universe. He told Extra: 'I follow Adria on Instagram but everybody came out [and said], 'He just followed her, that means she's Wonder Woman.' She'd be a great Wonder Woman, by the way. 'She was in a movie that I made seven years ago. We've been friends and have known each other since that time. I followed her then, I didn't just follow her.' Earlier this year, Adria hinted she'd like to work with James in the DC Universe. Asked about the director's follow, she told CinemaBlend: 'I love James Gunn. He gave me my first movie ever, which was like my first studio movie, so I owe him a lot.' And questioned as to whether the social media connection meant anything, the 33-year-old star crossed her fingers and said: "I don't know." Adria previously admitted that she'd like to be more "strategic" in her career decisions. She told Empire: "I wish I was more of a strategic actor when it comes to making choices. But I'm just more excited by the women that I get to embody." Adria starred alongside Glen Powell in the 2023 rom-com Hit Man, and the actress recalled quickly developing a strong "chemistry" with her co-star. Speaking about her initial meeting with Glen, she told Empire: "It was supposed to be a one-hour meeting. We ended up talking for five hours. "Chemistry comes from trust, and I think from our first meeting I just knew I could trust [Glen]. We created a space for us to play and be weird and sexy and funny." Hit Man was directed by acclaimed filmmaker Richard Linklater - whose previous directing credits include Boyhood, School of Rock, and Everybody Wants Some!! - and Adria still remembers feeling anxious about meeting the filmmaker for the first time. Recalling details of their first-ever Zoom call, the movie star shared: "My hands were sweaty. I was really trying to play it cool and that lasted for about ten minutes."
