In a delectable turn of events for players of Grow a Garden, the game has introduced an all-new cooking feature that's stirring excitement across the player community. The latest update to the widely popular gardening simulator now features an elaborate cooking event where players can prepare food items using harvested crops. These dishes not only add a flavorful twist to the gameplay but also unlock rare rewards like Gourmet Seed Packs, Gourmet Eggs, and exclusive cosmetic items, as per a report by Beebom. This culinary addition marks a significant shift in the way players interact with the game. Previously centered around farming and mutation mechanics, Grow a Garden now offers an interactive cooking zone where ingredients can be combined to form over a dozen food items. Each dish requires a unique combination of fruits and vegetables, and the rarity of the final product is directly influenced by the rarity of the ingredients used. While players are free to experiment, certain recipes are already proving essential to maximize both gameplay utility and in-game rewards. To start cooking, players must visit the designated cooking area within the game's lobby. Once there, they need to hold the correct ingredient, approach the cooking pot, and press the action key. A board near the pot displays the required ingredients and cooking time for each recipe. After confirming the submission of ingredients, the timer begins, and once the countdown ends, the cooked item can be collected, as per the Beebom report.Cooking recipes vary in complexity, from simple salads to elaborate pizzas. Most food items require five ingredients, though only specific key items must be submitted. The rest can be filled with any available fruits, making it easier for players with diverse inventories. Here is a complete breakdown of food items and their basic recipes in Grow a Garden cooking update according to the Beebom report:Cooking times vary and certain pot colors are specific to each dish, adding an extra layer of strategy. In Grow a Garden, cooking doesn't stop at the pot. Players are encouraged to offer their culinary creations to Chris P, the game's iconic pig NPC. This character, located near the kitchen area, changes his food cravings every hour. A speech bubble above Chris P's head will indicate his current desire—be it a Hotdog, Salad, or Waffle.Players looking to maximize rewards are advised to match Chris P's cravings exactly. Offering him a dish he wants will increase the probability of earning rare or even divine-tier rewards. For players wondering if the cook-off is worth the effort, the reward structure provides ample motivation. Items range from basic tools to ultra-rare collectibles:From a utilitarian watering can to the rarest Pancake Stack cosmetic, Grow a Garden's cooking rewards system incentivizes both novice and expert players alike. One of the most praised features of this event is the freedom to experiment. Although each food item has a primary recipe, the fifth ingredient is flexible, allowing room for creativity. Additionally, the rarity of ingredients plays a direct role in determining the quality of the final food, meaning players with access to high-tier crops will be able to whip up superior dishes. The cooking feature allows players to prepare dishes using harvested fruits and vegetables. This update adds a new layer of interaction to the game, letting players combine ingredients to cook food items that grant special in-game rewards.Visit the cooking area in the game lobby. Hold the required ingredient, approach the cooking pot, and press the action key. A recipe board nearby will show the required ingredients and cooking time. Silo Season 3: Cast, plot, new faces, and everything to know about Apple TV+'s dystopian epic

Apple TV+ has officially renewed its hit sci-fi series 'Silo' for a third season, continuing the story based on Hugh Howey's dystopian trilogy 'Wool, Shift, and Dust'. The critically acclaimed series explores the lives of 10,000 survivors living deep underground in a silo, cut off from a toxic world above and governed by strict rules and deadly secrets. At the centre of the mystery is Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson), an engineer determined to uncover the truth behind a murder and the origins of their confined society. Season 3 will go back in time, drawing from Howey's second novel, Shift, to explore the events that led to the construction of the silo system. 'We get into the origin story [of the Pez dispenser], but we're also deep into our silo world,' showrunner Graham Yost told TIME in January 2025. 'There'll also be more to learn about the dirty bomb." Yost added in a December 2024 press release, 'It has been a richly rewarding experience to adapt Hugh's epic novels with our partners at Apple, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring this complete story to the screen over the course of four seasons.' While no official release date has been announced, Apple confirmed on X that filming for season 3 wrapped in May 2025. Seasons 3 and 4 are being filmed back-to-back. Most of the main cast is expected to return, including Rebecca Ferguson, Steve Zahn, Common, Harriet Walter, Clare Perkins, and others. Jessica Henwick and Ashley Zukerman, who appeared in the season 2 finale, will join as regulars. Tim Robbins and Iain Glen may not return. Season 3 will offer a rare glimpse of the outside world, bringing light—literally and figuratively—into the dark, claustrophobic narrative. You can stream Silo exclusively on Apple TV+.
