ITV The Masked Singer flooded with same complaint minutes into final as star goes 'missing'
After seven weeks of hiding behind their elaborate masks, Saturday's grand finale (February 15) will finally see Wolf, Crab and Pufferfish unmasked for the first time - with one of them crowned the 2025 winner.
So far this series, nine celebrities have been unmasked including the likes of Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway, Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith and American singer Macy Gray.

The final three contestants will battle it out tonight with two performances, including 'one-of-a-kind' duets with three of the previously unmasked stars from this year's series.
The winner of The Masked Singer is chosen by the audience and the judging panel, made up of newest judge Maya Jama, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan, who are often joined by guests each week.
But as the finale kicked off, fans of the hit ITV singing contest noticed that regular judge Mo was missing, and was instead replaced by last year's The Masked Singer winner, McFly star Danny Jones, who won the 2024 series champion as Piranha.
Comedian Mo, who joined the show in 2021, was also noticeably missing from the semi-final of the show last weekend, which led fans to complain about his whereabouts and the lack of explanation for his absence.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one viewer @cazcoup1 asked: "Where's Mo again...still no mention of why he isn't there again," as @kevwgs echoed: "Why is Mo not on the panel? Him and Davina are the best judges #MaskedSingerUK."
@claire_bear1273 also asked: "Where is Mo tonight on #maskedsingeruk," @mademetoxic said: "What happened to Mo btw. #MaskedSingerUK."
@SufcLee wrote: "although thats weird, mo gililgan, where is he. done all the series & missed the final 2 episodes #MaskedSingerUK."
@Survivinthe20s asked: "Was Mo just cancelled off the show...what happened? #maskedsingeruk," as @kellyloumugg also wondered: "Where the hell is Mo? #maskedsingeruk."

Karen Pirie season 3: Is the detective drama going to return?
The second season of Karen Pirie landed on ITV earlier this week, and while we have loved watching Karen and the team in action figuring out the 40 year old kidnapping case of Cat and Adam Grant, we do have one complaint. The series is far too short. Seriously, we could watch another 20 episodes of Karen and her iconic bumbag travelling around Scotland solving cold cases. So will Karen return for a third season? Here's what we know. As of yet there's been no word to the future of the ITV show. Following the release of season one, it took about four months to get confirmation a second season of Karen Pirie would be happening. If the announcement of a third season is to follow a similar pattern, we likely wouldn't hear if the show is going ahead until around November. Thankfully there's a lot of material the show can use as inspiration, as the series is based on Val McDermid's eight part novel series about Karen. The first two series were based on the first and second books so you'd likely expect a third season to follow the plot of the third book. The third book sees Karen investigate a skeleton that is found in a crumbling Edinburgh building. Well it wouldn't be the show without her, so we would expect Lauren Lyle to return as titular character Karen Pirie. We'd also expect to see Chris Jenks as DC Jason Murray, Zach Wyatt as DS Phil Parhatka, Emer Kenny as River Wilde and Rakhee Thakrar as Bel Richmond. New to the cast for season two was Saskia Ashdown as DC Isla Stark, who now seems to be a permanent member of the team, and so we'd expect to see her return too. As a new series would see a new investigation take place, there would also be a new cast for these roles. The gap between seasons one and two coming out was three years, however this was in part due to writer Emer Kenny having a baby. So with this take into consideration if the series were to get renewed we'd hopefully be expecting to see the show back on our screens in the next one to two years. Karen Pirie season two is available on ITX now

From hustle to luxury: Boity Thulo reflects on 13-year journey
Lubabalo Lesolle This article was previously published in the print edition of Drum Soft Life. There are multihyphenates – and then there's her. She's a media personality, rapper, businesswoman and an all-around inspiration for young women who are still trying to break into the business. She has worked hard for every job, often coming in as an underdog who was underestimated, and she has shown she can always. After spending her 20s grinding, she's now living her best life. If you ask her, she'll tell you she's living in all her eras. Her soft-girl era, her confidence era, her Jesus year. Wuz Dat? It's Boitumelo Thulo, known to her 6,2 million Instagram, 3,9 Twitter (or X) and countless Facebook followers simply as Boity. She's been working for 13 years and counting. Her first job? A Wimpy advert, and she's been in the spotlight since then. 'I deserve my Gucci bags,' she says with pride as we talk about her many accomplishments. Living soft is not all about money, though, she's quick to add, as that can put a lot of pressure on young girls. She might be driving a luxurious car, living in a beautiful estate and having the pleasure of travelling whenever she wants, but she's worked hard for it all. And she's proud of that. 'Young girls should not rush into wanting to be at their best during their 20s. That time is going to come; they have so much to look forward to. Trust me, there is no rush. You don't need a Gucci bag at 21, especially now with social media and young kids wanting the best things now. I worked 13 years for this.' 'At 21, I was worried about where I would get my next gig, how I would pay my rent, I needed an apartment, and I needed to look cool enough to have a car. Even though my career made it seem as though I already had those things, the truth is I didn't. It wasn't moving as fast as it looked to the people at home.' View this post on Instagram A post shared by Boity Thulo (@boity) She worked on YoTV's Crib Notes, Club 808 and has been part of productions such as Rockville, among many others. Being in the limelight made her mature a lot faster than she would have otherwise, she says. She felt like she needed to have the success of a person far beyond her years. 'I couldn't be seen partying too much and making mistakes even though that's what people my age were doing.' She saved up money from her small gigs so that she could be independent. She got her first small apartment in Bryanston and worked hard to get her first car, Angelique, a Citroën. She was figuring life out, as one should at that age. She wanted to be successful and still maintain being Boitumelo at her core. 'I remained the girl who dresses at Mr Price and Legit when I knew that some of my peers were wearing Michael Kors. I tried to be as grounded as possible so that I didn't lose myself in fame.' She hasn't lost herself in the fame. Boity is speaking to us via a Zoom call from her Johannesburg home. With a light glam face beat and her braided hair tied away from her face, she puts everything on the table. Her confidence is clear and shines through the screen. Throughout her career, she has had to grow a thick skin, as people who watched her transition in life had opinions about her life, her appearance, as well as her success; they weren't afraid to share. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Boity Thulo (@boity) Now that she is older, she's come to understand that not every opinion needs her reaction, which has been good for her mental health. 'Some people would say I don't belong on screen, I sound terrible, my presenting is bad. I had to ignore all of that and do it regardless of what people said. It takes family, friendships and support to help you through it. I had to learn self-belief and patience. Having been in the industry for this long, I had to be patient.' And the patience has paid off. She has won an award as a media personality, was listed as part of Forbes Africa's 30 under 30, and she keeps adding accolades to her name. 'At the very beginning of my career, I was known as the underdog. It took a lot of patience, self-belief, and I spent time trying to shut down the self-sabotage. It took a long time to step into myself and be confident of the fact that I am that girl. It hasn't been an easy journey.' There were many moments where she questioned whether she should be in the entertainment industry, but her passion and talent kept her going when she felt like giving up. 'Earlier on in my career, I received so many no's as opposed to yeses that I started doubting myself. There have been moments where it was fruitless; it's not what people think it is. People think the moment you're in, you are swimming in money, and of course, it's made to look that way, but it is far from it. 'My 20s went by so fast because of being a public figure. I used to ask God, Why not me? Why is it taking so long? I am receiving all those things now, and I think it's because I am mentally more mature. I am more spiritually aligned now to receive the accolades I assumed I should've had five years ago.' Boity calls 33 her 'Jesus year' [the age by which Jesus had accomplished his most important work]. The year of ease and abundance, where she no longer has to prove anything to herself, as she has paid her dues for more than a decade to be where she is. 'I'm at my best age. I feel amazing. It's my peak year, I feel confident, and I am in my bag.'

‘Lost the best friend I ever had': Kelly Osbourne pays tribute to Ozzy
Kelly Osbourne said she has lost her 'best friend' following the death of her father, Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne. The rock legend was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019 and died at the age of 76 on Tuesday morning, surrounded by his family. In a heartfelt message posted to her Instagram stories on Thursday, Kelly shared lyrics from the Black Sabbath song Changes, a track she famously re-recorded with her father. 'I feel unhappy I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had,' she wrote next to an emoji of a broken heart. Released in 2003, their reimagined duet hit number one on the UK Singles chart. The duo became only the second father-daughter act to top the chart, following Nancy and Frank Sinatra in 1967. Osbourne's death came a few weeks after he reunited with his Black Sabbath bandmates on July 5 to play a farewell gig at Villa Park – a stone's throw from where the band was formed in 1968. After the live performance, Osbourne and his wife Sharon celebrated Kelly's engagement with her long-term partner Sid Wilson, a member of the heavy metal band Slipknot. The day after the gig, Kelly thanked her father's fans for attending his last live performance. She wrote on Instagram: 'To say that yesterday was magic was an understatement! 'Thank you to everyone who came to support my dad. Thank you to the fans who without we are nothing! 'My dad got his moment in the sun! He was able to say thank you and good bye in the most beautiful way!' Tributes to Osbourne were led by his Black Sabbath bandmates, including Terence 'Geezer' Butler, Tony Iommi and Bill Ward, along with celebrity friends including Kiss star Gene Simmons and Queen guitarist Sir Brian May. Earlier on Thursday, Status Quo frontman Francis Rossi spoke on ITV's Good Morning Britain and described Osbourne as 'wild'. He said: 'He was a great young guy. And then obviously, American success got to him, I think. And it gets to a lot of us. You get carried away with all that stuff that one shouldn't. I did and I'm over it.' Osbourne was also described by the Lord mayor of Birmingham, Zafar Iqbal, as a 'proud Brummie' who helped put the city 'on the world map'. Mr Iqbal met the founding members of the heavy metal band, formed in the city in 1968, when they were presented with the freedom of Birmingham in June. He told the PA news agency: 'He (Osbourne) was very important and he was a proud Brummie. He loved the city. He will be much missed, I think, and he was loved by so many people in the city.' Other stars have also honoured the 'Prince of Darkness' by paying tribute to him during live concert performances, including Lady Gaga, Coldplay and Alice Cooper, who praised him for performing until he 'couldn't do it any more'.
