Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro review
The CMF Phone 2 Pro is very similar to the original CMF Phone 1 when it comes to design. The attachment point and exposed screws are the signature elements of the brand. It's a look that definitely stands out, which is definitely a good thing these days.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro is also more durable than its predecessor, with things like Panda Glass on the front and an IP54 ingress protection rating, alongside a manufacturer's promise that the phone should last for up to 20 minutes in up to 25cm of fresh water. The back is still made of plastic, though, with the pros and cons that entails. What about the internals, then? Well, the Pro mostly lives up to the moniker with quite a few upgrades over the CMF Phone 1. The display, for one, is bigger and brighter, with 10-bit color and HDR10+ support. The camera department has seen a lot of upgrades as well and is now much more versatile with a 50MP telephoto and an 8MP ultrawide added to the mix. On some markets, the CMF Phone 2 Pro also introduces NFC for payments.
There are plenty of similarities between the CMF Phone 2 Pro and the original CMF Phone 1 on the inside too. The chipset hasn't changed much; it is now the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro instead of the regular 7300. The battery is the same 5,000 mAh pack with 33W wired charging support. Crucially, likely for many prospective buyers, the CMF Phone 2 Pro retains the microSD storage expansion slot.
However with plenty of other hardware upgraded, it is understandable that the price of the CMF Phone 2 Pro has increased as well. At the time of writing, an 8GB/128GB unit will set you back around €250. Join us as we try to determine whether the Phone 2 Pro is a bargain at that price! Unboxing
The CMF Phone 2 Pro ships in a rather thin sleeve-style cardboard box. There really isn't much material between the contents and any potential outside threat, which we don't appreciate. Even so, we are not too worried due to the internal arrangement, which has a box on top of the phone. Plus, the phone itself is nestled in a cradle for extra protection. Everything in the packaging, including said cradle, is made of recyclable materials, which is welcome.
There is sadly no charger in the box, just a basic Type-C to Type-C cable. On the plus side, a clear plastic case is included, so you can start using your phone immediately.

Moto G06 is coming, here's the price
Motorola's Moto G series has always been quite expansive, but recently it feels like it's grown even more than ever. And it will continue to - according to a new leak, the Moto G06 is coming, even though its predecessor has only been on the market for a few months. As the name implies, this should be a barebones entry-level model, and today a European retailer listing has revealed its ballpark pricing. According to this, the Moto G06 with 64GB of storage will go for €122.90 in the Eurozone, while if you opt for 256GB of storage it will cost you €169.90. It's weird that there's no 128GB option, but perhaps that's just an issue with this listing and it will be offered as well. If so, expect its price to fall in between the aforementioned values. All the storage variants come with 4GB of RAM, by the way. The Moto G06 will be available in three colorways, it seems, based on this particular listing, and their names are Tapestry, Arabesque, and Tendril. These sound like Pantone-certified colors, and that wouldn't be surprising given Motorola's long-standing partnership with Pantone. Unfortunately, no actual specs for the G06 have been outed right now. For reference, note that the Moto G05 has a 6.67-inch 720x1604 LCD screen with 90 Hz refresh rate, the MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme SoC at the helm, a 50 MP rear camera, an 8 MP selfie camera, and a 5,200 mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging. So the G06 should be higher-end than that somehow. We'll let you know when we find out more about it. Motorola Moto G05 Source (in Italian) | Via

UScellular gets a new name once the T-Mobile deal closes August 1st
This Friday, August 1st, the transaction between T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular will close. T-Mobile is paying $2.4 billion in cash and will assume $2 billion of UScellular debt. In return, 4 million UScellular customers will move to Team Magenta, and T-Mobile will also take possession of UScellular's retail stores and 30% of its spectrum in the 600 MHz, 700 MHz A Block, PCS, AWS, 2.5 GHz, and 24 GHz (mmWave) frequencies. Thanks to the additional spectrum being received, the transaction will improve T-Mobile 's network, especially in rural America. But what will happen to UScellular, once the fifth-largest wireless carrier in the country? First of all, UScellular will be getting a new name and some new executives. As soon as the deal closes this coming Friday, Douglas W. Chambers will become the interim President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the post-closing business, which will be named Array Digital Infrastructure, Inc. The company's business will focus on a portfolio of 4,400 towers owned by Array, along with its holdings of the remaining spectrum after T-Mobile takes over the agreed-upon airwaves. Chambers, currently UScellular's Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, will oversee the operations and strategic initiatives related to the towers and the airwaves belonging to Array. Chambers says, "I am honored to assume the role of interim CEO of Array at this pivotal time for the company, We have a great opportunity ahead of us and I look forward to working with the Board and our management team to continue to strengthen our tower business, seek opportunities to monetize our retained spectrum, and work towards closing the announced spectrum transactions." As part of the shakeup, UScellular will be changing its New York Stock Exchange symbol from USM to AD. The USM symbol had been used by UScellular since it went public back in 1988. To go along with the name change, the company will introduce a new website and a new logo. The firm will remain headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. -LeRoy T. Carlson, Jr., Chairman of the Board, UScellular Following the closing of the deal on Friday, the board of directors of Array is expected to approve a special dividend of $22.50 - $23.75 per Common Share and Series A Common Share.
