Revealed – Which Two Italy Stars Inter Milan & Napoli Would Have Swapped Had Simone Inzaghi Stayed

Yahoo2 days ago
Inter Milan had been ready to make a swap deal involving Davide Frattesi and Giacomo Raspadori had Simone Inzaghi stayed coach.
This via FCInter1908. The change of coach, however, has changed the fortunes of Frattesi who now looks clearly set to remain at Inter.
It is not secret that Davide Frattesi looked to be on the way out at Inter not long ago.
The Italian international had reportedly already asked to leave in January. This was due to a lack of playing time.
And despite a few signs that things were changing towards the end of last season, the Champions League final seemed to be the last straw.
Frattesi reportedly had a bust-up with Inzaghi over the fact that he didn't even feature as a substitute.

Therefore, reported via FCInter1908, Inter would have been ready to offload Frattesi.
And among the clubs interested in the 25-year-old are Napoli.
The Partenopei also have a player who has been of interest to Inter – forward Giacomo Raspadori. And Raspadori himself looks as though he may well be ready to leave Naples.
Therefore, a swap deal involving the two Italian internationals and former Sassuolo players could have been in the offing.
However, that all changed when Simone Inzaghi decided to leave for the riches of Al-Hilal.
Cristian Chivu arrived as Inter coach to replace Inzaghi. And the Romanian is ready to give Frattesi a chance at Inter.

Report – Albania EURO 2024 Star Puts Inter Milan In Difficult Position Heading Into Transfer Window Finale

Kristjan Asllani has put Inter Milan in a tough spot heading into the final stretch of the summer transfer window. According to La Repubblica via FCInterNews, his unwillingness to join a new club could compromise Inter's transfer plans. Real Betis made a valiant attempt to sign Kristjan Asllani earlier this summer. Indeed, Inter accepted their €15 million bid for the 23-year-old, only for the player to turn down a move. Furthermore, the Albanian midfield insists on staying in Serie A. (Photo by) After a failed transfer to La Liga, Asllani looks set to stay at San Siro despite Inter's hope of selling him to the highest bidder. However, Inter's €18 million asking price has made Asllani's switch to another Serie A club nearly impossible. Indeed, Bologna and Fiorentina have already deemed Nerazzurri's demands excessive. Therefore, Inter are at risk of failing to offload the ex-Empoli playmaker on their terms.

Report – Inter Milan Reluctant To Offer Over €45M To Close Deal For Atalanta Forward

Inter Milan remain hopeful of signing Atalanta star Ademola Lookman, but will reportedly only agree to terms that suit them. According to La Repubblica via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri will not meet La Dea's €50 million asking price. Despite boasting a genuine interest in Ademola Lookman, the Serie A runners-up are unwilling to break the bank. Indeed, they had initially earmarked €40 million for landing the 27-year-old. However, after Atalanta rejected their opening bid, they're ready to revise their offer. As for Atalanta, they're still hoping to force the Nerazzurri to include several bonuses in the deal. That way, they would see their €50 million matched. However, Inter remain firm on their stance, preferring a €40 million upfront fee with €5 million in add-ons.

Report – Inter Milan Submit Improved Offer For Atalanta Star, Ball Now In La Dea's Court

Inter Milan have reportedly submitted a new offer for Atalanta talisman Ademola Lookman. According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri have tabled a €43 million bid for the Nigerian forward. Inter Milan hope this improved offer will convince Atalanta to accept the deal. However, Atalanta already turned down Inter's initial approach for Ademola Lookman earlier this summer. Despite seeing their opening bid fall flat, the Serie A runners-up are eager to secure Lookman's signature in the next few days. (Photo by) Unfazed by Atalanta's €50 million asking price, Inter are pushing forward to complete the deal on their terms. Indeed, Lookman's wish to continue his career at San Siro puts the Nerazzurri in a strong bargaining position. Furthermore, the 27-year-old has already rejected Atalanta's contract offer, informing them of his desire to leave. It's now up to La Dea to re-evaluate the situation. While Inter's new offer falls short of their valuation, talks proceed in good faith.
