The announcement was made at a star-studded event in Chennai, where the teaser for the film was unveiled. Directed by Logan — known for his work on Remo, Maan Karate, and Gethu — the project is being treated as a grand launchpad not just for Raina, but also for the production house itself.
Sharing the announcement video on X (formerly Twitter), Raina wrote, 'From cricket fields to Kollywood frames, bringing Chennai's spirit with me.
Proud to join this new journey with Dream Knight Stories Private Limited.'

During the event, when asked whether MS Dhoni might join him on screen, Raina said, 'He should answer that one!' While no further cast details were announced, anticipation is already high given Raina's popularity and the film's big-ticket backing.
Director Logan said, 'To launch my debut film with such a talented team and the support of Dream Knight Stories is a dream come true.
We're setting out to create something truly special.'
A star-studded technical team
Production No 1 boasts an impressive crew. Music will be composed by Santhosh Narayanan, with Sandeep K Vijay handling cinematography.
National Award-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty has also joined the team. The production designer Muthuraj, and action choreographer Supreme Sundar are part of the crew.
The launch ceremony saw the presence of several Tamil film industry heavyweights, including director Mohan Raja, editor Mohan, producer PL Thenappan, and actor Sathish. Shivam Dube, Raina's former IPL teammate from CSK, lit the ceremonial lamp at the event and shared his excitement about Raina's new journey.
