‘Soulmate's probably stuck in Marathahalli traffic': Bengaluru man's dating struggles go viral
The user, who recently moved to Bengaluru after graduating, shared a long and candid rant titled 'Bangalore Dating Scene = Fully Dead' describing his failed attempts to find love using popular dating apps like Bumble and Happn.
'I moved to Bangalore full of hopes and dreams, thought I'd get a job, explore the city, maybe meet my LML (love of my life). I downloaded Bumble and Happn with main character energy. Big mistake,' he wrote.

Complaining of 'ZERO matches', the Redditor joked that not even accidental swipes came his way. He took aim at Happn, the app that shows users people they cross paths with, saying, 'I live in Hongasandra, I cross paths with 500 people a day just trying to get to Silk Board and survive. Yet the app says I crossed paths with Riya three days ago. Where, bro?? I only crossed paths with autos and existential dread.'
Dating apps didn't fare better in his post. Describing profile bios as overly generic and non-committal, 'Traveler | Foodie | Plant mom | Here for friends only', he quipped, 'Ma'am I'm not here to expand my LinkedIn network, I just want to fall in love and eat tacos in Indiranagar with someone.'
He described himself as an average, well-groomed guy with no 'shady bios' or 'weird flexes,' but added that dating apps were treating him like he was 'invisible in 4K.'
The punchline that sealed the post's virality? 'Honestly, at this point I think my soulmate is stuck in Marathahalli traffic, and that's why she hasn't reached me yet.' Reddit reacts
Responses to the post were mixed. Some users pushed back at the dramatic generalisation. 'Dude, those apps are not a representation of Bangalore's dating scene, that's a stupid extrapolation to make,' one commenter said bluntly.
Others offered genuine advice, urging the original poster to work on profile curation, 'Go to the gym, get sharp-looking pictures in formals, maybe one with animals, food, or from a scenic place.'
Despite the differing opinions, the post has opened up a broader conversation on Reddit about loneliness, dating fatigue, and the gap between expectations and reality in India's fast-paced urban hubs.

Criminal Justice season 4 ending leaves viewers stunned: The twist no one saw coming sparks storm of reactions online
If there's one thing the finale of Criminal Justice Season 4 proved, it's that no one really saw it coming. Released a day earlier than usual on July 3, the much-anticipated climax of the legal thriller took viewers on an emotional rollercoaster, leaving them stunned and, quite literally, speechless. What followed was a full-blown internet meltdown — from breathless praise to meme explosions, the finale became an instant sensation. Veteran lawyer Madhav Mishra, played with effortless gravitas by Pankaj Tripathi , returns to the courtroom battlefield in what is arguably his most morally complicated case yet. As the plot unfolds, viewers are drawn into the murky depths of a family's breakdown, where love, guilt, illness, and justice collide in heartbreaking ways. The show's gripping narrative, centred around the murder of nurse Roshni Saluja, reveals not just a legal puzzle but an emotional conundrum that tests every character involved. — kush1724 (@kush1724) A Finale That Left Everyone Guessing; and Guessing Wrong Social media has erupted in unison over the shocking final twist — a revelation that not only upended the murder mystery but challenged notions of justice and sacrifice. "Mind blown," "Did NOT see that coming," and "Best Indian thriller ever" were just some of the hundreds of reactions pouring in across Twitter (now X), Reddit, and Instagram. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Buy One, Get One Free, Up To 50% Discount, Expiring Soon Original Adidas Shop Now Undo — wakil_saheeba (@wakil_saheeba) — Shuk_law_ (@Shuk_law_) And then came the memes — thousands of them. From 'MIND BLOWN' GIFs to netizens captioning Madhav Mishra's moral dilemma with existential humour, the finale has given meme-makers enough content to last till the next season drops. — jaisantoshhhhh (@jaisantoshhhhh) — OfficialAayushi (@OfficialAayushi) A Legacy of Twists The Criminal Justice franchise has earned its stripes over the years with layered storytelling and rich performances. While previous seasons featured names like Vikrant Massey, Kirti Kulhari, and Jackie Shroff, this time it's the emotional depth of Surveen Chawla and Zeeshan Ayyub's performances that tugged at the audience's heartstrings. In conversation with India Today, Pankaj Tripathi had joked that the series changed his life — and for fans, this season changed their expectations. The creators pulled off a finale that dared to go beyond a whodunit, opting instead for a why-did-they-do-it and who-will-live-with-it narrative arc. While the show draws no hard conclusions on guilt, it does leave the viewer grappling with human fragility, love, and justice. The decision by Madhav Mishra in the closing moments not only redefines his character but adds philosophical weight to the entire season. It's less about courtroom wins and more about moral reckoning.

Netizens troll 'Adipurush' makers for dropping a song from the Prabhas starrer as first look of Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Ramayana' first glimpse is out: 'Why do they want to remind people?'
The long-awaited first look at , starring , , and Sai Pallavi, was finally released today (July 3), and fans can't stop talking about it. Social media is buzzing with excitement over the film's stunning visuals, top-tier casting, and the grand scale of the teaser. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now But something else also caught everyone's attention. Soon after Ramayana's teaser dropped, T-Series, the production house behind 'Adipurush', re-uploaded the Jai Shri Ram song from their 2023 film on YouTube. This move sparked criticism online, with many questioning the timing. Some fans felt that T-Series was trying to ride the wave of attention Ramayana was getting, especially since Adipurush—also based on the Ramayana—faced major backlash when it was released. On Reddit, one user wrote, 'I've got to give it to Bhushan for milking every opportunity to get some money back on his investment in Adipurush.' Another said, 'The timing is unreal—just as the Ramayana teaser released. Pre-planned?' Many felt it looked like a reaction driven by jealousy. One comment read, 'Why do they want to remind people of this again?' For those not in the know, 'Adipurush' got a lot of flak for its content, dialogues and not doing justice to 'Ramayana'. Not to mention, the poor VFX of the film also wasn't hard to miss. The film starred as Lord Rama, Kriti Sanon as Sita, and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana. As per reports, it was mounted on a huge budget of Rs 550 crore and suffered a huge loss. . Naturally, comparisons between the two films started pouring in. Viewers praised the teaser of Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, calling it 'better than the entirety of Adipurush.' Many admired the 'Hollywood-level VFX' and even joked that 'Adipurush' director Om Raut should take notes. On the other hand, Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, looks to be on a completely different level. With Ranbir as Lord Rama, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman, the film also boasts music by Oscar-winner Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman. The teaser alone has raised expectations sky-high. The film will release in two parts—Part 1 in Diwali 2026, and Part 2 in Diwali 2027.
