Kremlin: Date for third round of negotiations with Kyiv not yet set

Moscow - Saba: Dmitry Peskov, the official spokesperson for the Kremlin, stated on Sunday that Moscow hopes the dates for the third round of negotiations with Kyiv will be determined soon. When asked whether any new meetings had been scheduled in the near future, Peskov replied, "No, they have not been scheduled yet. We are waiting for the third round of talks. We hope the date will be clarified soon." Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced last Friday that he had held discussions with the Russian and Ukrainian delegations, noting that the parties "have the willingness" to hold a third round of negotiations. In an interview with the Turkish channel "Haber," Fidan added, "I communicated with the parties yesterday, and the implementation of the decisions from the second round—such as the exchange of prisoners and the bodies of fallen soldiers—is being finalized." He continued, "If the promises made to each other are fulfilled, we see the parties' desire for a third round of talks. The Russian side has already stated this. We are ready to host the negotiations. The most important thing is to prevent the outbreak of conflict." Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)

'Gaza Government Media Office: Number of Aid Victims Rises to 580 Martyrs and 4,216 Injured'

Gaza – SABA: The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday that the number of aid victims targeted by the Israeli occupation forces near the so-called 'death traps' or 'American-Israeli aid distribution centers' has risen to 580 martyrs, 4,216 injured, and 39 missing persons. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the office confirmed that the martyrs, injured, and missing were all starving civilians killed by Israeli forces while trying to obtain food from these death traps since operations began on May 27. The statement strongly condemned the ongoing crimes committed by the Israeli army against starving civilians. The Gaza Government Media Office held Israel and the countries involved in the genocide, foremost among them the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, fully legally, historically, and morally responsible for carrying out and supporting the genocide of civilians in Gaza. It called on the international community and all free nations to pressure the Israeli entity to open border crossings, end the siege, and allow the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip before it's too late. American Senator: Trump plans new sanctions against Russia

Washington - Saba: American Senator Lindsey Graham announced that President Donald Trump believes "the time has come to pass a bill imposing new sanctions against Russia." Graham claimed that the U.S. Senate "will begin discussing the new sanctions bill against Russia in July." During an interview with ABC News on Sunday, Graham commented on Trump's stance regarding the sanctions bill, saying: "Yesterday was the first time the president [Trump] told me, while we were playing golf, that the time has come to move forward with passing a bill on new sanctions against Russia." The U.S. senator further explained the legislative plans, stating: "The day after the July recess ends (starting July 7), we [the U.S. Senate] intend to move forward with discussing the bill." Meanwhile, leaders of the 27 EU member states, meeting at the Brussels summit on June 26, agreed to extend sanctions against Russia for an additional six months, according to Western news agency reports citing diplomatic sources. The agency's report stated: "The leaders of the 27 EU member states, gathered at the Brussels summit, agreed to extend sanctions against Russia for another six months." Moscow has repeatedly emphasized its ability to adapt to the pressures caused by Western sanctions, which have been imposed and tightened over several years. Russian officials have stated that the West lacks the courage to admit the failure of its sanctions policy against Russia. Some voices within Western countries have also questioned the effectiveness of these measures. It is worth noting that the West has escalated its punitive measures against Russia over the Ukraine crisis, leading to rising electricity, fuel, food prices in Europe and the United States.
