Man threw colostomy bag at head teacher of Glasgow school
The man, who we are not naming, was sentenced at Glasgow Sheriff Court recently after pleading guilty to two charges, The Glasgow Times reported.
He admitted to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner in the presence of secondary children and assaulting another man.
The court heard that at 9am on September 6, 2024, the head teacher of the school and a campus police officer were carrying out their duties.

The man then entered through the front door and made his way towards the head teacher, making efforts to talk to him.
The head teacher explained he would be with him shortly as he was dealing with an unrelated matter.
The man then made his way to an internal door to wait, and the head teacher stated he couldn't stand there.
He became enraged and started to unbutton his shirt.
The head teacher turned away from him and stated that he should not be undressing in a school.
The man then ripped off his colostomy and urostomy bags and threw these at the head teacher, striking him on the head.
This caused the head teacher to shout 'get out' which was overheard by the campus police officer who then arrived on the scene.
The man was arrested and taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary due to having an open wound.
Once the wound was made safe, he was taken to Cathcart police office.
Whilst being processed, he commented that should he be sent in front of a court, he would throw a full bag over the judge or sheriff.
Addressing Sheriff Anthony Deutsch, the man's lawyer said: 'I can reassure you he has no intention of that happening.'
Sheriff Deutsch added: 'He has no outstanding matters. I am prepared to treat this as a one-off.'
Sentencing was deferred for six months for the man to be of good behaviour.

Crazed hit-and-run drivers rammed cars in terrifying attack as woman chased with saw
Terrified witnesses saw a woman struck with a saw during the violent confrontation between three cars on Ashgill Road, Glasgow. A man was rushed to hospital after a hit-and-run incident erupted into a violent rammy, involving three vehicles, a pedestrian and a saw. Cops were called to Ashgill Road in the north of Glasgow at around 6.55pm on Monday, June 23, following reports of a targeted hit-and-run involving three vehicles and a male pedestrian. Horrified locals looked on as chaos unfolded on the street where a woman was slapped with a saw. The 22-year-old was reportedly struck by a car and later taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. His condition is not currently known. One eyewitness described the moment the incident spiralled out of control in what police now believe to be a "targeted" attack. "There were two cars speeding down Ashgill Road, one coming up and one going down, it looked like they were deliberately trying to ram each other," the resident told the Daily Record. "They smashed into each other and also hit my flatmate's car." The witness added: "I was in the back garden and ran out. This latest incident comes two months after a home on Ashgill Road was firebombed as part of targeted attacks on several properties during the same night. The horrific attack was linked to the gang war that spread from Edinburgh to Glasgow. A terrifying video uploaded to social media showed firebombings on various properties in the city on April 7 - with three homes being targeted in the early hours. Properties on Glasgow's Gala Street as well as Meadow Court in Stepps, North Lanarkshire, were allegedly also torched in the early hours of April 7. In the footage, masked assailants could be seen dousing the front door of a home with accelerant. Another clip showed flaming projectiles being thrown into windows at a property. Tributes to ‘legendary' defence barrister Courtenay Griffiths KC
Jamaica-born Dr Griffiths was among the first black lawyers to be awarded the then-Queen's Counsel status and rose to become a most prominent and formidable force at the criminal bar. He defended in many high-profile criminal trials after he was called to the bar in July 1980 and awarded silk in 1998. Notable cases included the Pc Keith Blakelock murder trial, the Brighton bombing and the Damilola Taylor murder trial. In 2007 he represented former Liberia president Charles Taylor in his war crimes trial in The Hague and also sat as a part-time judge. Barrister Laurie-Anne Power KC, of 25 Bedford Row, said: 'He was the single most influential figure in my legal career. 'He epitomised brilliance, intellect and fearlessness in equal measure. 'He considered it his duty to open doors and provide opportunities to those who might not otherwise have them. 'He was unapologetic about changing the landscape of the bar. 'As an advocate, there was simply no-one better. 'He commanded the attention of anyone and everyone in the courtroom. 'He had it all in abundance. 'But behind the advocate was a gentle, kind, and selfless man who loved the law.' Ms Power said she first met Dr Griffiths at a law fair in 1998 and he immediately asked her if she was Jamaican after sharing stories of their mutual love for the island. She added: 'He was my only mentor, in the true sense of the word. 'He hounded me into applying for silk and did not stop until I got it. 'He was a friend first and made me believe that I could achieve anything within the profession.' ITV News senior correspondent Ronke Phillips said: 'To watch Courtenay Griffiths in action at the Old Bailey was compelling. 'He was a skilled advocate. Sharp, clever and when needed, witty. 'Like all great barristers, he treated the courtroom as though he was the leading man in his own drama. 'His exchanges were often devastating for witnesses, but those of us on the press benches were delighted. 'He never failed to deliver the quotes we needed for our copy. 'Courtenay was charm itself. Serious about his work but never too serious to be friendly and always with a twinkle in his eye. RIP' Writing on X, Jacqueline McKenzie, solicitor and partner at law firm Leigh Day, said: 'Through his practice at Garden Court and 25 Bedford Row Chambers, he acted in major criminal and human rights cases, in the UK and overseas, and left an indelible mark of greatness on our profession, and on the world.' Defence lawyer Courtenay Griffiths (John Stillwell/PA) Barrister Amina Graham, from 2 Hare Court Chambers, wrote on LinkedIn: 'He demonstrated the importance of representation for me in my pursuit of a career at the Bar. 'I worked with him during my time at the Special Court for Sierra Leona where he represented Charles Taylor … a formidable advocate and an inspiration to so many.' Dr Griffiths was a multi-award-winning barrister who spent the majority of his career between Garden Court Chambers and 25 Bedford Row. In 2020, Dr Griffiths was handed an outstanding achievement award at the Legal 500 Awards and was given a lifetime achievement award at the UK Diversity Legal Awards in 2018. He was awarded an honorary doctorate from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2005.
