ITV This Morning presenter nearly falls overboard during live report from boat in Greece

Independenta day ago
A This Morning guest presenter almost fell overboard whilst reporting live on air from a boat in Greece.
Actress and TV personality Natalie Anderson appeared on the ITV show on Tuesday (8 July) where she shared details of a newly-announced competition with viewers, however things soon took a turn for the worst when the boat became unstable.
A large wave caused the presenter and the crew on the Mykonos to lose their footing, with the actress struggling to remain composed as she screamed and shouted 'sugar!'
'That is a huge wave!' she exclaimed, before continuing to share details of the competition, as hosts Cat Deely and Ben Shephard laughed back in the studio.

EXCLUSIVE Michael Jordan's daring wife sets pulses racing with risque sunbathing on NBA legend's $115m superyacht

Michael Jordan was not the center of attention aboard his $115million superyacht on Wednesday, as his daring wife, Yvette Prieto, stepped outside for a risque sunbathing session. Prieto, a Cuban-American model, walked onto the deck of the lavish ship in a stunning black bikini for prime time in the sun off the coast of the island of Spetses in Greece. Jordan's wife can seen seen laying on a lounge chair on her back to catch some rays before flipping onto her stomach and removing her top so her bare back could get tan. Jordan, 62, and Prieto have spent plenty of the summer on the NBA legend's superyacht, with several members from both of their families staying onboard as well. The ship has already sailed to the Italian island of Sardinia last month, with Jordan and Prieto, 47, heading to Skradin - a small town in Croatia's Sibenik-Knin County weeks later - as they continue to enjoy their summer vacation. Jordan living a glitzy lifestyle has been typical of his time away from the NBA since his retirement for good as an active player in 2003. This summer, it comes with a caveat as he prepares to return to being in front of the league's audience on a consistent basis as part of The Association's return to NBC. Jordan was also pictured in the Greek Isles with the happily-married couple sharing two twin daughters, Victoria and Ysabel, who also joined their parents on the superyacht. The 11-year-old twins were seen in matching blue floral dresses with white shoes standing on a dock with family before getting into a smaller boat on the water. Jordan wore sunglasses, a white fedora, dark green shirt, checkered cargo shorts, white shoes, and completed the look with a cigar in his left hand. When her eye-opening sunbathing session was complete, Prieto reemerged in a romper with her own choices for sunhats. The family was later seen eating at the luxurious Posidonio Hotel, where the cheapest rooms cost $400 per night. In addition to Victoria and Ysabel, 'His Airness' also shares three adult children - Jeffrey, 36, Marcus, 34, and Jasmine, 32 - from his first marriage to ex-wife Juanita Vanoy. Jordan, who is worth an estimated $3.6billion, is believed to own an $80million yacht known as 'Joy', with the even-bigger one known as 'M'BRACE', valued at $115million, being what Prieto was seen sunbathing on. The 244-foot long ship, purchased by Jordan in 2022, is said to accommodate 12 guests with 8 cabins and 24 crew, with an estimated annual running cost of $10m. Prieto eventually flipped onto her stomach and removed her top to tan her bare back Jordan, 62, and Prieto have spent plenty of time this summer on the NBA legend's superyacht Earlier on the family's European tour, Jordan's father-in-law, Carlos Prieto Sr, and brother-in-law Carlos Jr, and his wife, had also joined the party aboard the striking vessel. This summer's quality downtime will prove to be even more precious for the NBA icon as he gears up for his new job in the Fall. It was revealed in May that Jordan will be on the NBC airwaves when the network returns to airing the NBA next season. The addition of Jordan is a coup, with the network bringing on one of the all-time greatest players in the sport to boost their coverage. Rather than be a constant presence on-air - much like Wayne Gretzky does with hockey coverage on Turner or Tom Brady does on Fox - Jordan's appearances will be rarer and more specialized, Daily Mail exclusively revealed last month. 'Michael is going to be doing a handful things for NBC when the NBA returns, and instead of commentating, it is going to be more special segments, 60 Minutes style, and occasionally doing halftime analysis,' sources exclusively told The source added, 'They are going to make his moments special, and with players in a hands on segment before the game and occasionally stuff after the game, but it isn't going to be full commentary or what Shaq and Charles Barkley do. Sources said that Jordan's role will make him 'NBC's Oprah for the NBA.'' It had been rumored that Jordan would pocket a staggering $40 million annually from NBC - the twice the figure Charles Barkley earns with TNT - but a report from Fox Office Sports claimed that sum was inaccurate. A new media rights deal is set to kick in for the league next season - putting NBA games back on NBC for the first time since 2002. In addition to Jordan, Hall of Famer Reggie Miller will be appearing on the network alongside Carmelo Anthony and Jamal Crawford. The ship has already sailed to the Italian island of Sardinia last month, then to Croatia after Jordan will be away from Prieto after taking a role with NBC as part of its NBA coverage The addition of Jordan is a coup, with NBC bringing on one of the NBA's greatest players ever The family was later seen eating at the luxurious Posidonio Hotel, a glitzy waterfront hotel Sources also told Daily Mail last month that Jordan is taking his role at NBC incredibly seriously. Jordan has had no active ties to the NBA since August 2023, when he sold his stake in the Charlotte Hornets for $3billion. 'There is just enough time in life that you can be on a yacht, spend all your money on having fun and good times and living life to the fullest. Michael does that and will continue to do that, as he has over the years,' the source said. 'But this summer will be different because he is looking forward to resetting his career and have people remember that he is the best.' Jordan's NBC appearances are sure to kick off a new round of debates as to who the greatest basketball player of all-time is, with LeBron James being the Chicago Bulls legend's most prominent contemporary. The six-time NBA champion's return to airwaves comes as James has opted into a $52.6million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, putting many of the finishing touches on an unbelievable career, in part, in direct comparison with Jordan's legacy.

Channel 5 launches new challenge show inspired by iconic Eddie Murphy film

EDDIE MURPHY's Eighties movie Trading Places is the inspiration for a new TV project. The Channel 5 show has the same name and will see two people with very different lifestyles have to walk in one another's shoes. 3 So you might end up watching a banker try his hand at farming, or a violinist become a lorry driver, or a ballerina ditch their tights in favour of working on an oil rig. It is based on the story at the heart of comedy Trading Places, which sees Eddie's down-and-out character Billy Ray Valentine trade positions with upper-class stock broker Louis Winthorpe, played by Dan Aykroyd. Meanwhile, snobbish Louis becomes a street hustler and pals with local hooker, played by Jamie Lee Curtis. A TV insider said: 'While this has strong echoes of the 1983 movie, it has a retro feel to it for more than one reason. "The new project definitely has a whiff of Channel 4's Wife Swap or Faking It, which were hugely successful in the Nineties and Noughties. 'Though this does take things to higher level, as there is an implied amount of competition given that it's two people trying to excel in the other's field of expertise.' But the experience goes much further than their nine-to-five job. The participants will live in one another's houses, take over their hobbies, and even socialise with their friends and families. They will even have to follow the other's sleep routines — and neither has the faintest idea what the other does for a living before they start filming the show. DAMIAN'S GALAXY OF STARS ACTING royalty DamiaN Lewis brought together a galaxy of stars for the launch of Lightroom's Prehistoric Planet: Discovering Dinosaurs. I was on Wife Swap - what the other woman said when she went through my fridge left me reeling The attraction, in King's Cross London, is a new immersive experience that takes visitors back to prehistoric times, 66 million years ago. 3 3 Damian, who played Henry VIII in the BBC's Wolf Hall dramas, lends his dulcet tones to proceedings as the narrator. But at the official launch he was also playing host to a string of famous pals including Billie Piper and GMB host Kate Garraway. Other big names attending included Kay Burley, Anita Rani, Charlotte Ritchie and Matt Johnson. The prehistoric world was brought vividly to life through Lightroom's cutting-edge 360-degree projection technology – and all to the sound of a score by Hanz Zimmer. LIAM'S GIFT TO SINGERS NICOLE SCHERZINGER has told how co-star Liam Payne would put in extra hours behind the scenes of Building The Band to help the wannabes. The late singer is also a judge and mentor on the Netflix talent show that launched yesterday. It was filmed prior to his shock death last October. Nicole, who was a guest judge on The X Factor in 2010 when Liam found fame with One Direction, said of his time on Building The Band: 'He was in his happy place coming full circle, having started out in a similar situation on a talent reality show, and then having the global success that he has had, and then to be able to give back and to mentor bands. 'He put in the extra hours to work with these bands even off screen. 'He was giving back and that's one of his gifts.' AMY SET FOR LAST LAUGH THE first comedian primed to join a new star-studded cast of Jimmy Carr 's Last One Laughing is Amy Gledhill She has been snapped up by Prime Video for the second series of the hit comedy show, which drops next year. Jimmy is back to host the show challenging ten of the UK's funniest people enter a room for a six-hour battle of wills - where the last one to laugh is crowned the winner. Amy will follow in the footsteps of Bob Mortimer, Daisy May Cooper and Joe Lycett who featured in the first outing. An insider told The Sun: 'Amy is not massively known as yet, but she's a rising star who has already achieved acclaimed success at the UK National Comedy Awards and Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 'Last One Laughing is the perfect opportunity to show off her talent - and help catapult her onto the worldwide stage.' ROSE'S THRILLER GROWS ITV has commissioned a second series of thriller Code of Silence which stars Rose Ayling-Ellie. The first, six part series was widely acclaimed when it aired on ITV1 and ITVX in May and June and the first episode consolidated with 7.5m viewers In particularly, people tuning in were impressed by it putting a deaf character, Alison, at the heart of the action. Former EastEnders and Strictly winner Rose, who plays the key role, said: 'I'm so proud that Code of Silence has been recommissioned. 'The response to the first series has been incredible, and it means so much to be part of a drama that not only keeps audiences on the edge of their seats, but also puts a Deaf character at the heart of the story. 'I'm really excited to see where Alison's journey goes next and to be working again with the wonderful cast, crew and creative team behind the show.' A NEW trailer has dropped for series two of Netflix hit Wednesday, and it suggests Jenna Ortega 's eponymous lead is in grave danger. During one of her psychic visions, she learns her best friend Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers) will die and it is her fault. It lands on August 6. NETFLIX's longest-running unscripted series Queer Eye has been canned.
