When an astronaut leaves Earth for Mars, the vast infinite space divides star-crossed lovers in this animated romance that crosses the cosmos. I have already had the pleasure of watching this movie on Netflix and it is a must-see romance for fans of shows like The Orbital Children and Your Lie in April . The characters are beautifully animated and the voice acting brings them to life. Keep tissues close at hand when you start this heartwarming film and remember that love doesn't need gravity to pull you in.
Lost in Starlight premiered on Netflix on May 30, 2025.

When K-pop superstars Rumi, Mira , and Zoey aren't selling out stadiums, they use their secret powers to protect their fans from supernatural threats. This show reminds me of Totally Spy with an amazing K-pop band twist, and I can't wait for its release. It is being produced by the same studio that animates the Miles Morales Spider-Verse universe movies and retains the unique art style of those projects.
KPop Demon Hunters will dance their way onto screens June 20, 2025 for Netflix. Pokémon Horizons: The Search for Laqua (Season 2 Part 3)
Young Pokémon trainers Liko, Roy and Dot head to the Paldea region to master the power of Terastallization and uncover the mystery behind Terapagos. In Pokémon Horizons: Season 2—The Search for Laqua , our heroes undergo Tera Training, take on Paldea's Gym Leaders and continue their pursuit of the remaining Six Heroes.
Watch the third installment of the exciting adventure, continuing June 27, 2025, on Netflix. Pokémon XY/Kalos Quest/XYZ
Netflix is positioning its platform to be the place to catch classic and new Pokémon . Ash and Pikachu continue their epic journey in Pokémon the Series: XY Kalos Quest. Jay-Z Joins Beyonce on Stage on Cowboy Carter Tour in Paris, Omits Kanye West's Name in Hit Song

Jay-Z reunited with his wife, Beyoncé, for their first live performance together in six years on Sunday, June 22. Jay-Z — real name Shawn Carter — joined his superstar spouse on stage for her third and final Cowboy Carter Tour performance at Paris' Stade de France. The couple reeled off a string of their biggest hits, including 'Crazy in Love' and 'Drunk in Love,' which was remixed with Beyoncé's song 'Partition.' The rapper also treated Paris to a live rendition of 'N****s in Paris,' his hit collaboration with Kanye West from their 2011 Watch the Throne album. Jay-Z notably tweaked one specific lyric referring to his longtime collaborator. Instead of rapping, 'Just might let you meet Ye,' he said, 'Just might let you meet Bey,' per fan footage shared via social media. A Complete Timeline of Kanye West and Jay-Z's Relationship: From Collaborations to Falling Out While Jay-Z, 55, and West, 48, were once close friends, they appear to have had a falling out in recent years. In a since-deleted X post in April, West claimed that the drama stems from their collaboration on the song 'Jail,' which appeared on his 2021 album, Donda. 'Why did Jay Z have to say 'no red hat' on Jail,' West wrote via X. 'That s*** tore me to my soul. We fought about it and he told me either leave that line on there or take my verse off. Me wearing the red hat was the most stand out example of me going against 'the program.' Do you guys think he was instructed to say that?' In Jay-Z's verse on the track, he rapped, 'Told him, 'Stop all of that red cap, we goin' home' / Not me with all of these sins, castin' stones / This might be the return of The Throne (Throne) / Hova and Yeezus, like Moses and Jesus.' Everything Kanye West Lost After Series of Antisemitic Social Media Posts: Talent Agency and More The lines were a reference to West's support of President Donald Trump, which often saw the rapper wearing a red 'Make America Great Again' cap. In March, West made headlines for disparaging posts about Jay-Z and Beyoncé's twins, Rumi and Sir, 8. (Jay-Z and Beyoncé, 43, also share daughter Blue Ivy, 13.) Shortly after his tweets about Jay-Z's kids, West apologized in additional X posts, writing, 'I LOVE JAY Z AND I DO FEEL BAD.' He also claimed he was hurt by Jay-Z not attending his 2014 wedding to now-ex Kim Kardashian. 'I FELT LIKE BOTH HIM AND HIS WIFE COULD HAVE HELPED ME HAVE MORE LEVERAGE WITH MY KIDS,' West continued, referring to claims that he had been denied access to his four kids with Kardashian, 44. 'THEY COULD HAVE USED THEIR CULTURAL POSITION TO NOT JUST WATCH THE KARDASHIANS RUN ME OVER. S*** HURTS … SO F*** BOTH OF THEM CAUSE WHEN I NEEDED THEM IT WAS F*** ME.'

Netflix is developing tech that personalizes trailers, TV shows, and movies to match your tastes

Netflix is developing tech that could help it personalize not only the recommendations you see on the service but also the videos themselves. Patents issued to Netflix in recent months show the streamer is exploring the creation of customized trailers and interactive movies or shows based on what it knows about its users. One patent, from December, describes how Netflix could develop different trailers for the same movie that could be personalized for each user. "The trailer may highlight movie clips that showcase an actor or actress that the user has shown an interest in, or may highlight certain segments that show the genre or some of the comedic moments of the movie," Netflix gave as an example. While the patent focuses on movie trailers, it says the principles involved may be applied to "full-length movies, trailers for television shows or full-length television shows, trailers for audio books or full-length audio books, etc." In a second patent, from February, Netflix described a method of making choose-your-own-adventure-style titles using machine learning that offers viewers choices based on what it knows about them. For example, one could show, say, a romantic-themed option to someone whose profile indicates an interest in that topic. Netflix has previously experimented with interactive shows and movies, most notably with its 2018 film, "Black Mirror: Bandersnatch," about a programmer who starts questioning reality when he adapts a dark fantasy novel into a video game, and "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs the Reverend," a 2020 interactive film based on the Tina Fey-created series. However, the momentum behind that original wave petered out, and Netflix removed all its interactive titles from the service, with the final ones leaving in May. This new patent suggests that interactive titles could get a second look, with new tech backing them up. Netflix's previous tech presented all users with the same fixed decision tree. Netflix declined to comment on the patents. Phil Petitpont, cofounder of Moments Lab, an AI startup that helps media companies monetize their video libraries, said dynamic storytelling had a lot of potential for social media virality, as users are likely to share their experiences with others. He imagined how Netflix could apply it in the future. "When you see video games like 'Death Stranding,' 'Metal Gear Solid,' or even any games from Quantic Dream studios, it's built like a long interactive cinematic," he said. "We could expect the next season of 'Black Mirror' to be an experiment on this one." Get ready for custom trailers The idea of customized movie and TV trailers seems to be the most immediate practical application of the patents. Netflix has been trying to address what's become a widespread pain point: The proliferation of titles on streamers has made it harder to find something to watch and left some viewers overwhelmed. At the same time, Netflix is trying to boost time spent on the service, which will help its growing ad business. Along those lines, it's also been exploring other formats and types of content like live events, talk shows, and video podcasts. Like other media and entertainment companies, Netflix has also been using AI in various phases of production to make films and shows faster and cheaper. In May, Netflix made a slew of changes to its homepage to make it easier for users to choose what to watch. These changes included making shortcuts more visible, making recommendations that respond to people's moods and interests in the moment, and introducing a generative AI search tool. Bryn Mooser, the founder of AI studio Asteria, said he saw potential in using AI to customize trailers. "Netflix has always cared about giving customers a great user experience, and if they can use this tech to recommend movies people really like and attract people with custom trailers, I think that's really exciting," he said. "I want all my streamers to come up with better recommendations."
