The 'rules' have been spelled out and include the behaviour of players whenever they are on club business, with stars encouraged to sign autographs and engage with fans on match-day.
Amorim, 40, said: 'We have rules, and the rules are not to treat the players as babies.
In a brutally honest, no-holds-barred interview, Amorim revealed:

'They have sons, so I treat each of them as a man, but they have rules now.
'That can change the way you train. If you don't train in the right way, I have footage to show you. And I will show you in front of everybody, not just speak, but show you as well.

'It's not just Bruno. It's not just Harry. It's six guys now. They are responsible for the group.

'There are some things that in the last year I had to deal with that. I said to them, 'this year, you deal with that; the small issues are with you guys. You are responsible'.
After naming his sextet, Amorim added: 'It's not just the oldest ones.

Dream Team scoring explained: What are ‘fantasy assists' and how do players earn bonus points?

DREAM TEAM boasts a scoring system that recognises individual performance to a greater degree than any other fantasy football game. Here's a full breakdown of how points are won (and lost). 3 ALL PLAYERS Goal +6 points Assist +3 points Appearance (0-59 minutes) +1 point Appearance (60+ minutes) +1 point Shot on target +1 point Big chance created +1 point Tackles +1 point per two Yellow card -1 point Red card -3 points Penalty miss -3 points Own goal -2 points GOALKEEPERS & DEFENDERS ONLY Clean sheet (minimum 60 minutes played) +5 points Each goal conceded over one goal -1 point GOALKEEPERS ONLY Saves +1 point per two Penalty save +3 points It's important to note that assists also includes 'fantasy assists' (as defined by Opta) which incorporates other decisive actions that lead to a goal being scored, such as: Makes a heavily deflected pass or cross which leads to a goal Has a shot on target which is saved by the goalkeeper and scored off the rebound Has a shot blocked which is scored off the rebound Has a shot which hits woodwork and is scored off the rebound Wins a penalty which is subsequently scored Wins a free-kick which is subsequently scored directly Makes a shot, pass or cross which precedes an own goal Official governing bodies, such as the Premier League and Uefa, do not recognise 'fantasy assists' and so that's why there is often a discrepancy between statistics relating to assists across various platforms. Dream Team, like other fantasy games, includes Opta-defined 'fantasy assists' as we believe it makes for a more compelling experience. 3 BONUS POINTS In addition to the points detailed above, players are also able to earn bonus points; either zero, one, three or five (per fixture). Bonus points are determined by a combination of the following stats that contribute to player performance marks (PPM): completed crosses, successful dribbles, pass completion rate, interceptions, blocks, fouls won and goals scored from outside the area. Offsides, fouls conceded and errors leading to goals will negatively impact a player's PPM. Goalkeepers can also earn player performance marks through successful claims, keeper sweeps and successful punches. 5-7 PPM = 1 bonus point 8-11 PPM = 3 bonus points 12+ PPM = 5 bonus points The reason goals and assists (and shots on target, big chances created, etc) don't impact bonus points is because players are already rewarded for such actions. Essentially, bonus points recognise positive contributions outside of the other point-scoring actions, ensuring a fairer reflection of each player's overall performance. 3 For reference, these are the players who earned the most bonus points last season: Ryan Gravenberch 52 pts Youri Tielmans 51 pts Pedro Porro 51 pts Aaron Wan-Bissaka 51 pts Bruno Fernandes 50 pts Jeremy Doku 47 pts Eberechi Eze 46 pts James Maddison 45 pts Declan Rice 45 pts All the relevant stats are provided by Opta, who review their data after the conclusion of each game. This occasionally results in post-match changes in points awarded to players but rest assured any alterations are made to more accurately reflect each individual's performance. The cut-off for any changes (except to address technical issues or missing data) is 12 hours from the final whistle of the relevant fixture.

Rio Ferdinand thinks Luke Shaw's brutal claim shows state of Man Utd under Ruben Amorim

After Luke Shaw's eyebrow-raising comments about the state of Manchester United under Ruben Amorim, Rio Ferdinand has offered his honest thoughts Rio Ferdinand believes Luke Shaw's claim about Manchester United shedding the "stragglers" in the squad highlights Ruben Amorim's positive effect. Amorim, 40, has taken a no-nonsense approach to United's squad this summer. ‌ One of his first acts was to banish the so-called 'Bomb Squad' featuring Jadon Sancho, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford. The latter has been loaned to Barcelona, but the other trio were left out of United's pre-season tour in the USA and told they will be training separately from the rest of the squad. ‌ Last season, Sancho, Antony and Rashford were loaned to Chelsea, Real Betis and Aston Villa, respectively, while Garnacho was told to find a new club after he publicly criticised Amorim shortly after United's loss to Tottenham in the Europa League final. ‌ New recruits Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo have now been brought in, and Shaw recently praised Amorim's tough love approach that has managed to rid the club of "stragglers" holding the group back. Speaking on his Rio Ferdinand Presents show, the ex-United captain reacted to Shaw's comments. He said: "It was quite a damning statement, wasn't it? "When I heard that, I was like, 'I wonder what the next meet-up is going to be like if he sees any of those guys.' I think I'd have had something to say about that if I thought it was about me. "Then you go, 'Maybe they don't say anything, because they might think and know it is true.' But there's a confidence in there with him that goes, 'You know what? They know that I know what went wrong. So I can say this with my chest.' "That's what it feels like. Also, the environment he is feeling now would have to be a positive one for him to come out and speak like that." ‌ When asked specifically about Shaw's place at Old Trafford and whether he was referencing the aforementioned quartet, Ferdinand added: "His statue within the squad, I noticed it while I was on tour. He has a very strong stature within the squad. He's been there, I think, over 10 years now. "He has seen it all there. All the bad times, he's seen it. He is one of the most experienced and most Manchester United players within that squad. So, I don't think he has any qualms coming out like that. "I think you have to have seen enough to be able to go and talk like that. So I think it's a strong statement. I don't think there's any two that he's directed at those four players, because they are the ones sitting on the outside." ‌ Last season was a chastening one for the Red Devils. They finished 15th and only mustered 42 points and 44 goals. Their last chance of redemption in the Europa League final also ended with them losing to Tottenham in a lacklustre fashion. But the signs are looking positive for the Red Devils, as they won the Premier League Summer Series in the USA. They beat West Ham United 2-1 and Bournemouth 4-1, before drawing 2-2 with Everton. Of course, the real measure will be how they start the Premier League campaign. Their opening fixtures are ominous, as they host Arsenal, Burnley and Chelsea, while also travelling to Fulham, Manchester City and Brentford in their first six matches.

Ex-Arsenal wonderkid Charlie Patino tells Max Dowman to ‘stay humble' and reveals how he ended up in Spain's second tier

Schoolbody Dowman, who is only 15, made a huge impression on Arsenal's Far East Tour and is in line to play Prem football this season. His first senior appearance came in December 2021 aged 18 when he scored in a 5-1 League Cup win over Sunderland. And he understands the pressures and expectations being placed on Dowman's young shoulders. Patino told SunSport: 'I'd say to him to keep your head down, be grounded, be humble. 'Listen to the people around you. Listen to the players who've got a lot more experience. 'He's a lot younger than me. I've seen a few clips and he looks like a very quality player. 'At an age like that, we don't want to put too much pressure on him. 'It's all about timing. Time will tell where he gets to. I wish him all the best in what he does.' Following loan spells at Blackpool and Swansea, he left North London in August 2024, signing for Spanish outfit Deportivo La Coruna for £1million. Arsenal's 2025-26 third kit 'leaked' and fans absolutely love it Patino said: 'I really enjoyed my ten years there. I joined when I was a kid. I left as a man. 'Played in dressing rooms with men a lot older than me. Quality players. I'm taking all that into my daily life now. 'I'm thankful to the manager for giving me my debut. It was a magical moment to score. 'I try to go out there and play with a smile on my face. It's the best sport in the world. 'Not everybody gets the opportunity to play for the biggest club in London. Pressure is a privilege, that's how I see it.' His dad and grandad are massive fans of Deportivo, who are famous for their blue-and-white stripes and breaking up the Barcelona and Real Madrid hegemony to win La Liga in 1999-2000. Deportivo, beset by financial mismanagement, have been absent from the top-flight since relegation in 2018 and even spent time in the non-professional third tier. They are a sleeping giant, a bit like Sunderland or Birmingham, and their ground, Estadio Riazor, a capacity of more than 32,000, is always bouncing. It is set to be expanded to 48,015, at a cost of £78million, for the 2030 World Cup Finals. 5 Patino has urged the 15-year-old to remain humble Credit: Getty Patino, who lives in a flat close to the beach, grew up watching Spanish football and likes to 'base my game' on technical skill and flair. The dream is to secure promotion and join fellow Englishmen abroad – Jude Bellingham, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Marcus Rashford and Conor Gallagher – in La Liga. Patino, who played in the same England under-21 side as Cole Palmer and Liam Delap, said: 'When the opportunity came along, it was a no-brainer to join Deportivo. 'I wanted to explore and try it out. I'm not fluent (in Spanish) but in the next six months I'll be near enough there. I'm having lessons. 'The league (Spain's second division) has a lot of quality. The level is high. A lot of players are technically and tactically very good. 'It's a lot quicker in the UK. I'm enjoying the style here. I like to get on the ball, conduct the play. Make decisions. Send passes in-behind. 'I've always wanted to play in Spain under a foreign manager. We're looking forward to the start of the season and trying to get promoted. 'The fanbase is massive. We have demands. We deserve to be in the First Division.' ARSENAL TRANSFER NEWS LIVE: All the latest rumours from the Emirates
