
Mankweng police hunt for suspects after R71 fatal shooting
According to police spokespersons, officers were dispatched to the scene at around 23:30. Upon arrival, they found a white sedan that had veered off the road into a ditch. The male driver was found inside the vehicle with gunshot wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the victim was shot while inside the car by the two suspects, who then fled the scene on foot. Witnesses reported that the suspects were speaking Zulu.
A case of murder has been opened, and police have urged anyone with information that could assist in the investigation or lead to the arrest of the suspects to come forward.

Armed robbers strike Boundary Street home in Carletonville
