Dave Grohl's family united to the tune of love.
The Foo Fighters frontman took the stage with his and wife Jordyn Blum's 18-year-old daughter Violet at the FireAid benefit concert in Los Angeles Jan. 30.
In his first performance since he revealed he fathered a baby outside of his marriage, the 55-year-old was also joined by his former Nirvana bandmates Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear for the first time since 2020 as they surprised the audience by performing some of the band's beloved songs, including "Breed," "School," and 'Territorial Pissings," during the Los Angeles wildfire relief fund raiser.
While Dave returned to his Nirvana roots by taking his place behind the drum kit, Violet surprised the audience as she appeared on stage and performed the band's final song of the evening, 'All Apologies.' In clips shared across social media from the moment, Dave could be seen smiling while rocking out on the drums behind his daughter.

The Nirvana alums—whose lead singer Kurt Cobain died at the age of 27 in 1994—were also joined by St. Vincent, Kim Gordon, Joan Jett who each did vocals throughout the set.
Violet is no stranger to taking the stage with her dad. In 2023, Violet joined the Foo Fighters to perform at the Glastonbury Music Festival.
While Dave made a rare appearance on his birthday Jan. 14, as he worked with the Feed The Streets Los Angeles to provide meals for displaced residents, and first responders of the wildfires, the 'Everclear' singer has kept out of the spotlight in recent months in the wake of his cheating scandal.
In September, Dave—who also shares daughters Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10—with Jordyn—revealed his infidelity and made public apology to his wife of 21 years and their children.
'I've recently become a father to a baby born outside of my marriage,' he wrote on Instagram Sept. 10. 'I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.'
"I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,' he wrote. 'We're grateful for your consideration toward all children involved as we move forward together."

Sam Fender and Chappell Roan help bring £1.2bn tourism boost to North West

Tour shows from stars Sam Fender, Chappell Roan and the Foo Fighters helped boost music tourism in the North West by £1.2 billion last year, according to a new report. Live music in 2024 brought 3.3 million music tourists to the region, including some from overseas, as artists played sold-out shows in Manchester, Liverpool and across the region. Fans of a wide range of genres could see their favourites in the North West with Fender at Co-op Live, Roan at Manchester Academy and the Foo Fighters playing the Emirates Old Trafford last year. Festivals such as Parklife, Creamfields and Beat-Herder also brought a large number of fans to north-west England. The report, published on Tuesday by UK Music – an association which represents the country's commercial music industry – also found music tourism supported around 9,250 full-time equivalent jobs in the North West. The £1.2 billion boost to the economy from music tourism in the region included ticket sales, food and beverage sales, merchandise, venue parking, camping fees, accommodation and travel. Across the country in 2024, 21.9 million people in the UK were 'music tourists' according to the report, meaning they travelled at least three times the average commute for their region to see live acts. A further 1.6 million people travelled from abroad to the UK for gigs, which the report said was driven largely by Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, but international acts including Bruce Springsteen and Burna Boy also made an impact. The report said the total of 23.5 million music tourists gave a £10 billion boost to the UK economy in 2024 in a record for the country as it continues to see success in the industry following the Covid pandemic. Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy hailed the nation as 'a powerful home for live music', adding: 'Whether it's a massive stadium show or a packed-out local venue, music is bringing people together and making a huge difference. 'We're incredibly proud of our music industry. It's one of our greatest exports, it inspires young people everywhere, and it's part of who we are as a country.' She added that the Government last week announced a £30 million 'music growth package', which will 'support emerging talent, protect the venues that give them a start and make sure our music scene keeps growing and reaching new heights'. Meanwhile Tom Kiehl, chief executive of UK Music, said the sector is still facing financial challenges. 'While music generates huge benefits for our local areas, there remain a number of challenges facing our sector such as the rising cost of touring for artists and the threat of closure looming over venues, studios and other music spaces,' Mr Kiehl said. 'From Land's End to John O'Groats, all communities have the potential for thriving and diverse music sectors and can offer something unique. At a time when Government is seeking growth, it is crucial to empower local leaders to make this happen to help boost our artists, creators, venues, studios and music businesses.' The report launches the local music action charter, which UK Music said will 'help councils and combined authorities create locally tailored music strategies aligned with their specific priorities'. Councillor Liz Green, chairwoman of the Local Government Association's culture, tourism and sport board, said: 'These record-breaking figures show just how important live music is — not just for our local economies, but for the happiness of our communities. 'The report is a timely reminder that investing in local music isn't just good sense – it's a way to boost pride in place and breathe new life into our high streets. We're committed to working with local partners to make sure music continues to thrive in every corner of the UK.' Who Is Matthew Lillard's Wife? All About Heather Lillard (Including Which Bravo Show You May Have Seen Her On!)

Matthew Lillard may play Scooby Doo's best friend Shaggy in the live-action Scooby-Doo films, but that title goes to a different special someone in his real life: his wife, Heather Lillard. The Life of Chuck actor and Heather have been married since 2000 — and haven't been shy about sharing their love for each other on social media since. Matthew has penned various heartfelt tributes to his wife on Instagram, referring to Heather as his 'incredible partner' and the "love of [his] life". In a post for her birthday in 2024, he wrote, "I'm not sure where I would be without you… but I wouldn't be me. Happy birthday my love, you are our everything." Matthew and Heather have welcomed three kids over the course of their decades-long marriage: Addison, Ace and Liam. The actor told E! News in 2024 that his wife has been "incredible to parent with and a real gift to partner." So, who is Matthew Lillard's wife? Here is everything to know about Heather Lillard and her relationship with the actor. Heather was born and raised in California's Glendale/La Cañada area, according to her Compass bio page. She noted that she loves Pasadena's 'big city amenities and warm, small-town feel,' as well as 'its breathtaking architecture, rich history, and unbeatable food." Heather works as a realtor at Compass in southern California. Her Compass page states that she transitioned to a full-time career in real estate in 2009 after previously working as a director of special event marketing at Disney. She has also made a number of TV appearances, including a 2018 episode of an HGTV show where she took clients to see a 1923 bungalow located in Eagle Rock, Calif. Heather also once appeared on Bravo's Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. She shared a video of herself, Matthew and one of their children watching the episode on Instagram in 2019, in a clip that showed her and realtor Tracy Tutor going over an offer for a property. When she panned the camera to Matthew, he teased her, pointing out that she got her hair blown out for the occasion. Matthew previously shared that he followed his wife to Italy after they met at a golf tournament. 'I will tell you how much I believe in love at first sight," Matthew said in an old interview, which Heather posted stills of on her Instagram on Valentine's Day in 2023. "I met my wife at a golf tournament. She said she was going to Italy for a wedding with a bunch of friends." He continued, "And in 10 minutes, I saw her, and I decided to go to Italy with her. At the end of the trip, I thought, 'Oh my God. This is the woman I'm going to marry.' ' The couple went on to tie the knot on Aug. 26, 2000. The day after their 19th wedding anniversary, Matthew joked on Instagram, 'We hit 19yrs yesterday. In Hollywood, that's like 2 lifetimes. And the truth is, it wasn't that hard. You're the love of my life @heatherlillardrealtor and I can't wait to see what happens next.' The Scream star and his wife share three children: Addison, Ace and Liam. Their daughter, Addison, was born the same day 2002's Scooby-Doo opened in theaters. "I was literally holding my newborn child, and the head of the studio called to [say] congratulations," Matthew recalled to E! News in 2024. "And I said, 'Yeah, she's beautiful. I can't believe it.' He's like, 'No, we just greenlit the second movie.' " Matthew also revealed to E! News at the time that his youngest child, son Liam, wants 'nothing to do with' acting. Meanwhile, Addison graduated from the University of Southern California's Roski School of Art and Design in 2025, and Ace is currently a student studying acting at Carnegie Mellon University. "The good thing for me is that my kids have seen ebbs and flows," Matthew said of his children following in his footsteps. "They know the reality of the business. I never pushed anyone into it, but I certainly wouldn't deny the passion of my kids who are both artists." Matthew and Heather balance one another. Speaking to E! News in 2024, the actor shared that he and his wife are a 'good yin-yang.' 'I am very carefree, like, I will jump off a cliff a million times," he said. "And my wife has the ability to balance that with a sense of diligence, and she's very prudent." Read the original article on People

Yellow Rose Couple Opens a New Williamsburg Hangout

A patty melt walks into a bar…or is it a restaurant? Rose Marie is still trying to figure it out, but you don't need to think too hard: this is just a plain fun hangout. At the new spot from the couple behind Yellow Rose, which opened over the weekend, the sandwich is sure to be a crowd favorite, topped with a pickled green tomato. It's one of several dishes influenced by specials that first appeared at Krystiana and Dave Rizo's East Village restaurant, and now, after various tweaks, have found a home of their own. 'We had a whole day where we were just making and eating patty melts,' says Krystiana of how they agreed on the one. 'There were many different variations — obviously, everyone has their opinions on what they think the perfect patty melt is, because it is such a classic dish.' The new Williamsburg spot is a little more freeform in theme: a little Southern but not explicitly so, the type of place where you can stop by for a full meal (saltine-crusted fish) or a snack (a toast piled high with Campo Rosso Farm corbaci peppers, sungold tomatoes, parmesan and olive oil); seasonally-driven drinks like a pickled rhubarb martini or a guava daiquiri, a bar menu designed by Yellow Rose and Ramona bar alum Margaret Fitzgerald. The name Rose Marie refers to the Bob Dylan song 'Goin' to Acapulco' (It's also fitting as their business partner, Tracy Spetka's mom, is named Rosemary). The design is a hodgepodge of things they've picked up from various auction sites and even from their own home — the kind of couple that's down to drive out of the way to pick up the kind of clown art piece that completes a wall. A requisite Cevallos Brothers poster hangs in the bathroom. The Rizos had been looking for a space for another project for a few years now. 'We don't have any outside investors, it's literally just me and Dave,' says Krystiana. ' They landed on 524 Lorimer Street, at Ainslie Street, in Williamsburg, a quiet corner of the neighborhood that had previously been a short-lived restaurant, a storefront with character and plenty of natural light. While searching, the couple knew they didn't want it to be another Tex-Mex spot like Yellow Rose. 'Dave never thought he'd be cooking Tex-Mex — that was never really his thing,' she says. It sort of happened accidentally. During the pandemic, the San Antonio natives started doing taco pop-ups that took off – and saw there was a market for it. In 2020, they opened Yellow Rose, the restaurant, as a love letter to their home state, and in the process, helped give handmade flour tortillas their long-overdue moment in New York. Dave, who before opening the restaurant, worked at Superiority Burger, has always been the kind of chef who loves to tinker with vegetable-centric dishes, changing frequently by what's available at the farmers market. But the blessing and the curse of being a restaurant known for something — in Yellow Rose's case, tacos — meant that most people want to stick to the signatures and not deviate too much. Rose Marie dishes like the chicken cutlet topped with a creamy Camporosso farm slaw were first piloted in some form there. The businesses can stand alone from each other, but no matter their space, the Rizos have a knack for creating a casual, friendly atmosphere that doesn't take itself too seriously — the very type of place that has developed strong fanfare and regulars. 'For us, our philosophy has always been the kind of place that everyone can hang out in,' no matter their mood or price point. Rose Marie is open right now daily from 5 until midnight, and is considering adding brunch down the line: 'We're feeling it out and seeing what the neighborhood wants.' See More:
