Tiny Calico Kitten's Hilarious Reaction To Being Called ‘Sweet Baby' Is Too Good

Tiny Calico Kitten's Hilarious Reaction To Being Called 'Sweet Baby' Is Too Good originally appeared on Parade Pets.
Everybody has cute nicknames for their pets, right? Specifically, most pet parents will have one for when their pet is being sweet and another for when they're not. My dog's "demon time" name is Rhonda. When she's being sweet, I call her a sweet baby and give her some cheese!
Apparently, "sweet baby" is pretty common, but it's polarizing. When one cat mom tried out the nickname with her Calico kitten, the reaction she got was not at all what she expected. It was almost like the kitten wanted to prove her wrong or something:
Her mom, @undercoverasfkk, says that this is a throwback video. Hopefully she's gotten a little better at taking compliments! This kitten's name is Bean, and she was the cutest, baddest kitten around. Like most other kittens, she had no interest in being gentle about 98% of the time! She was perfecting her pounce, and most often, she could be found pouncing onto her mom's head.
Bean was no easy kitten. She would pounce on mom for calling her a "sweet baby." There were a lot of things she despised and would try to do away with whenever she saw them, like:
Mom's phone.
Mom, when she got too close.
Mom's hands.
However, there were times when they got along pretty well, too! Bean used to love playing peek-a-boo with her mom, and her mom loved it, too:
Kittens are absolutely insane, and anyone who can handle a kitten gets massive props from me! I spend about 20 minutes with a kitten every year, and by the end of it, I realize that that's plenty of time!
You can't get too mad at a kitten for being crazy, though. They're just babies: they have a lot of excess energy. Additionally, every single thing they do is something they're learning. They're new to this whole "life" thing. They have a lot of ground to cover!
How to Help a Crazy Kitten
If you notice that your kitten is clingy and crazy, just know it's par for the course! They're missing their cat families. Most animals aren't used to being alone when they're babies, so they'll be looking for companionship. They'll typically grow out of it as they get older!
You might even find yourself missing the kitten crazy. Grown cats can be so aloof sometimes. Bean's mom certainly misses her tiny baby!

Parrot's Jealous Meltdown Over Stuffed Bird Is Hilariously Unhinged

Parrot's Jealous Meltdown Over Stuffed Bird Is Hilariously Unhinged originally appeared on Parade Pets. Some studies have shown Parrots and other birds can be as smart as toddlers, which definitely explains the full-body tantrum this one throws after spotting a stuffed animal version of himself. In a now-viral video, a Parrot sees the stuffed impostor hanging out with his human dad and immediately spirals into what can only be described as feathered chaos. From fluffed-up feathers to dramatic screeches to finally attacking his stuffed twin, this bird lets everyone know that no fake feathery freeloaders are welcome here. Honestly, if someone brought a stuffed version of me into my home and my husband was cooing at it and my other family members expected me to be chill, I'd lose it, too. This bird named Pedro just goes ballistic, and it's absolutely hysterical. The video uploaded to the TikTok account for @critterbrain has people in the comments laughing their heads off over Pedro's antics. "That was a FULL ON crash out," one person commented with a bunch of laugh-crying person added, "Good thing he didn't overreact." Awww, he can't help it! He just wants his dad all to himself! But yeah, this is a happy and helpful reminder that Parrots are way smarter and more destructive than a lot of non-Parrot parents realize! How Smart Are Parrots and How Do You Keep Them Entertained? Parrots aren't just cute — they're incredibly smart. Studies have shown that some species, like African Greys, can use words in context, solve puzzles, and even grasp abstract concepts. In fact, many Parrots have the intelligence level of a 2- to 5-year-old child. They can learn shapes, numbers, colors, and even pick up on moods and routines in the household. That kind of brain power needs stimulation, or they'll make their own fun, usually at your furniture's expense. To keep your Parrot happy and mentally sharp, daily enrichment is key. Rotate a variety of bird-safe toys, including foraging puzzles and shreddable materials. Offer interactive games, like teaching new words or simple tricks, with positive reinforcement. Let them safely explore different parts of the house, or set up a window perch for people watching. Social interaction is just as important, so spend quality time talking, singing, or just hanging out with your bird each day. A bored Parrot can become destructive or depressed, while a mentally engaged one will thrive. Think of them as tiny, winged toddlers with big personalities and endless curiosity — they just want to be part of the action. 🐶SIGN UP to get 'pawsitivity' delivered right to your inbox with inspiring & entertaining stories about our furry & feathered friends🐾🐾 Parrot's Jealous Meltdown Over Stuffed Bird Is Hilariously Unhinged first appeared on Parade Pets on Aug 4, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade Pets on Aug 4, 2025, where it first appeared. Beagle Puppy Looks Exactly Like Snoopy and People Are Losing It

Beagle Puppy Looks Exactly Like Snoopy and People Are Losing It originally appeared on Parade Pets. Some puppies just have that "It" factor, and this baby Beagle is giving full Snoopy energy. With his black ears, perfect markings, and floppy cartoon vibes, he looks like he walked straight out of the Peanuts comics and into our hearts. In the viral video, the puppy runs across the yard like a tiny, wiggly version of everyone's favorite cartoon dog, and people are losing it. Whether you're a lifelong Peanuts fan (and really, who isn't?) or just love a good Beagle moment, this pup is bringing all the nostalgia and all the feels. I'm a huge Snoopy fan, and the comic and TV specials hold such a dear place in my heart, so I'm obviously madly in love with the little Beagle puppy who looks just like Snoopy. Check him out on the TikTok account @ not the only one who feels this way because one person asked in the comments, "Does this dog wear a scarf and goggles and fly a red plane that looks similar to a doghouse?" "Now you know you have to buy a Woodstock and update us," another person replied. Another person hilariously said, "FINALLY a Snoopy Beagle!! I can't tell you how many times people will be like, 'Omg my dog is the real Snoopy' and it's like a Bull Terrier or a Sheepdog." LOL! Facts. Snoopy Was Inspired by Charles M. Schulz's Childhood Dog Named Spike Yes, Snoopy from Peanuts was meant to be a Beagle — at least according to his creator, Charles M. Schulz. Snoopy was based on his childhood dog, which was actually a Pointer. The funny thing is, Snoopy doesn't really look like a traditional Beagle. Schulz admitted he didn't stick to the breed's true physical traits and instead created a more stylized, cartoonish version. Real Beagles have longer ears, a sleeker build, and distinct markings, while Snoopy is more of a round, white pup with black ears and that famous little nose. So, yes, Snoopy is officially a Beagle — but a very, very creative interpretation of one. 🐶SIGN UP to get 'pawsitivity' delivered right to your inbox with inspiring & entertaining stories about our furry & feathered friends🐾🐾 Beagle Puppy Looks Exactly Like Snoopy and People Are Losing It first appeared on Parade Pets on Aug 1, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade Pets on Aug 1, 2025, where it first appeared. Golden Retriever's Impressive 'Prison Break' Caught on Camera and It's Too Funny

Golden Retriever's Impressive 'Prison Break' Caught on Camera and It's Too Funny originally appeared on Parade Pets. Puppies are usually crated for training purposes, to establish boundaries, and to give them a "safe" space to decompress. Yet they soon grow out of these crates and find them a bit confining, often prompting an escape plan. Rooster the Red Golden Retriever is somewhat of a mastermind. The sly pup orchestrated a complicated "prison break" that looks like it's straight from the movies. In the TikTok from @roostertheretriever, the determined dog's escape was captured on video. 'My dog decided to execute the ultimate prison break in the middle of the night,' the onscreen text read. Rooster stepped out of his crate and manueverd himself onto an end table. The crafty canine then wedged himself between the table and the end of the gate, creating an opening of escape. This took the skill and agility of an Olympic gymnast as his back paws gripped the poles of the gate and he lurched his upper body forward. At one point, Rooster got a bit stuck and appeared to panic. His body was on top of the gate but he couldn't go forward or backward. He just stayed on the end table, figuring out his next move. Sliding his back paws along the gate, he located the perfect crevice to squeeze through to freedom. Rooster Foiled His Parents' Plans The pup's parents anticipated the potential for a prison break and arranged the area in the hopes of preventing this scenario, but their plans were obviously thwarted. "Rooster has grown so much lately that he started easily hopping out of his playpen," the caption explained. "We raised the height of the gate, except for one corner where we keep his toys and blankets in a basket. We figured, 'There's no way he could jump into the corner of a wall'."Followers were impressed with Rooster's accomplishment and guessed at reasons why he broke out. "Why am I sitting here cheering for Rooster. You got it, just jump," one wrote. "Looks like he was second guessing it, but realized he'd gone too far to turn back!" another noted. "Aww he just wants snuggles, or to search and destroy all chewable objects," a fan pointed out. It looks like Rooster needs a much higher gate! 🐶🐾🐾 Golden Retriever's Impressive 'Prison Break' Caught on Camera and It's Too Funny first appeared on Parade Pets on Aug 2, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade Pets on Aug 2, 2025, where it first appeared.
