James Cameron Teases Plans for Avatar 4, 5 And Maybe Even...
James Cameron has confirmed he is ready to take on more Avatar films. The Oscar-winning director is moving forward with Avatar 4 and Avatar 5, both of which are fully written and already dated for release. Speaking to Empire ahead of his 71st birthday, Cameron said, 'I'm healthy, I'm good to go. I'm not going to rule it out...I might not be able to do that…[but] if I can, I'll just do it.' The Avatar franchise, which began in 2009, remains Cameron's primary focus despite his busy schedule. The next installment, Avatar: Fire and Ash, is set to release on December 19, 2025, with Avatar 4 coming on December 21, 2029, and Avatar 5 following on December 19, 2031. Scripts are ready through Avatar 5 James Cameron confirmed that the scripts for the Avatar series are complete up to the fifth installment. He also shared that he already has 'ideas for six and seven,' but he likely won't direct those. 'I'll probably be handing the baton on at that point. Mortality catches up,' Cameron said. He acknowledged that directing more Avatar films would require stamina and dedication. 'It's six or seven years of hard work,' he admitted, adding that while he's committed for now, the long-term plan might involve passing the story to another director. Here's what Cameron said about working on new films While some fans hope he'll move on to different stories, Cameron explained why he continues with Avatar. 'Why did [George] Lucas keep working in the same thing? Why did [Gene] Roddenberry keep working in the same thing? Because when you connect with people, why would you squander that?' Still, Cameron is not only focused on Avatar. He is also developing other films, including Ghosts of Hiroshima and The Devils. Speaking to Discussing Film, Cameron called Ghosts of Hiroshima 'the most challenging film I ever make.' He added, 'I might not even be up to the task, but that never stopped me before.'

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 launch date and time explored There is going to be Halo crossover in Season 4 in Fortnite. | Image via Epic Games. Right now, Fortnite features a total of three Battle Passes: the main Battle Pass (Fortnite Super), the OG Battle Pass, and one that of LEGO Fortnite. All of these Battle Passes mention the same end date and time - August 7, 2025, at 1:30 AM ET. As Fortnite follows an immediate season launch format, Season 4 is going to be launched on the same day when Season 3 ends. However, it's not like that Season 4 is going to be launched right after the second Season 3 gets expired, because there will be a server downtime immediately after the end of the current season, for a patch to implement the upcoming season. Epic Games yet to announce the server downtime for Season 4. However, the matchmaking process in Season 3 will be disabled half-an hour prior to the end time of the current season, that means at 1 AM ET on August 7. Usually the regular patches take 2-3 hours to get implemented in the game, . However, for seasonal updates, the server downtime is going to last longer due to the upcoming content volume. Keeping in mind the previous season, the server downtime for Season 4 will take around 4-5 hours to complete. That means Season 4 is expected to be launched around 5-6 AM ET on August 7, 2025. Season 4 is going to be an important one in Fortnite as it's going to be the last season of Chapter 6. There is expected to be a loose end left behind after the final battle between Daigo and Superman. And this loose end is going to be the remaining tentacle of the kraken-like creature summoned by Daigo. Daigo might be defeated, but that tentacle is going to pose the main threat in Season 4 as the theme of the upcoming season will center around a mechanical insectoid invasion. Read More:

Sharon Stone Was 'Frustrated' With Rubber Knives in Nobody 2: 'Throw Real…'
Last Updated: Sharon Stone, 67, returns in Nobody 2 as antagonist Lendina, frustrated with rubber knives. After a 2001 stroke, she doubted herself but was convinced by her kids and Bob Odenkirk. Sharon Stone got 'frustrated" throwing rubber knives in Nobody 2. The 67-year-old actress features in the upcoming action sequel as antagonist Lendina and demanded that real knives be used in the scenes to make things more authentic. Sharon told Empire magazine: 'I've been in the action-movie business for a really long time. I was getting really frustrated because the stunt team was having me throw a bunch of f****** rubber knives. If you're going to throw knives, throw real knives." Sharon had not appeared in an action movie since suffering a life-threatening stroke in 2001 and admits that she had doubts about whether she could return to the genre after being approached for a role in the film alongside Bob Odenkirk. The Basic Instinct star said: 'Twenty years ago or so I had a stroke. And I started over, and I haven't done an action movie since then. I literally did not know, 'Do I still have it in me? Am I going to be able to come in here and make people believe that I can be this ass-kicking hyper-villain?'" Sharon was convinced to sign up for the sequel after watching the original 2021 flick Nobody with her kids – adopted sons Roan, 25, Laird, 20, and Quinn, 19 – and explained that they were thrilled when she accepted the part. The Total Recall star said: 'When I was up for it, my kids were out of my minds." She also relished the opportunity to collaborate with Better Call Saul star Odenkirk. Stone said: 'He's a good guy. I love the work, Odenkirk loves his work. He's like (Robert) De Niro, working to work better." Bob also enjoyed the experience and is now planning to work together with her on another film. The 62-year-old star said: 'We're trying to think of another movie we can do together. I have an idea that I've been kicking around. A very low-key comedy." The idea to cast Sharon as the villain came about as Odenkirk wants the Nobody franchise to become a 'fantasy" in a similar way to the James Bond films. He said: 'I want it to become a fantasy. I want it to become James Bond, and I want the villain to be as big and colourful and unreal as a James Bond villain." Odenkirk suffered a heart attack while filming Better Call Saul in 2021 but insists that reprising his role as ex-government assassin Hutch Mansell did not pose a health risk. He explained: 'There's almost no scarring on my heart after all that. And the reason is, according to the nurse and my cardio doctor, is that these other veins that feed your heart were somewhat enlarged. They're bigger than you normally see, and that was because of the two-and-a-half years of training for Nobody. I can work out. I do two a day when I'm training for the movie." view comments First Published: August 04, 2025, 19:15 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
