"We strongly oppose and reject this Judicial Commission report. It appears biased and predetermined, seemingly aimed at shielding the senior officials while making a few lower-level officers and staff scapegoats," he added.

The YSRCP leader said that the report has "left out" important
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams
(TTD) officials and police officers while blaming a few individuals for the stampede.
"The report, which was accepted by the state cabinet, has deliberately left out key TTD officials, top police officers, and senior revenue officials, instead placing the blame on a few individuals. This inquiry appears to be a mere eyewash and sets a dangerous precedent," Reddy added.

Demanding a
CBI inquiry
, the YSRCP leader said that "selective targeting" would not deliver justice.
"The coalition government has scrapped the extended darshan system introduced by the previous YSRCP government and failed to make proper arrangements for the devotees. We demand a CBI inquiry so that the truth comes out and real accountability is established. Selective targeting will not deliver justice to the six lives lost and the 29 devotees who were injured," Reddy said.
He further accused the N Chandrababu Naidu government of "negligence."
"This tragic incident is a direct result of the negligence of the present government. On the day before the incident, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was on a tour in the area, during which a large number of police officers and
security
personnel were deployed for his protection, neglecting the safety of thousands of devotees," Reddy added while reiterating the demand for a CBI inquiry so that "justice is served."

TN 'honour killing: NGO demands CBI probe into murder
THOOTHUKUDI: Nearly 65 honour killing incidents have taken place in Tamil Nadu since 2017, and police secured conviction only in seven cases in the past 30 years, human rights activist Kathir, executive director of the NGO Evidence said on Tuesday. Speaking to TNIE after meeting the parents of C Kavin Selvaganesh, Kathir said the CBI must probe Kavin's death as both parents of the suspect are police personnel and the police department might influence the investigation by local police in their favour. "This is the first time a police parents and their son have been involved in a honour killing incident, which shows how deep rooted casteism is even in the digital era," he said. "As per provisions of SC/ST Act , the deputy commissioner of police and collector must visit the house of the caste-based murder victims. But two days have passed since Kavin's death, none of them has visited the family yet. Police must secure and record all evidence wanted by victim's kin that can lead to rendering justice to them," he said. Referring to documents available with human rights defenders, Kathir said at least 65 caste-killing incidents have taken place in Tamil Nadu since 2017, he said. Even though several high courts in the country have passed judgement in around 72 cases ruling that inter caste marriages are not against Hindu Marriage Act, the Tamil Nadu government is struggling to control caste pride and the honour killings, Kathir added.

YSRCP alleges large scam behind land allotments in Vizag
Visakhapatnam: YSRCP Visakhapatnam district president KK Raju alleged that there is a large scale land scam behind allotment of prime lands in Visakhapatnam to the benamis of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Speaking to the media at the party office here on Tuesday, he mentioned that Naidu has personal benefits behind allotting lands worth thousands of crores of rupees to various private companies at throwaway prices in Visakhapatnam. He demanded that these land allotments should be cancelled with immediate effect. Neglecting the development of North Andhra, KK Raju alleged that conspiracies are being hatched to snatch valuable government lands away from the region. As soon as the NDA government came to power, prime lands were being looted in North Andhra, he remarked. The YSRCP district president pointed out that Naidu is in the process of allocating lands worth thousands of crores in North Andhra region to his people and benamis. Further, Raju wondered that Naidu is showing special love for Lulu Mall and added there is a huge corruption behind the land allotment of 13.74 acres to the mall which is worth Rs 3,000 crore at a cost of just Rs 1.5 per sqft for 99 years. The YSRCP district president opined that it is very clear that Naidu has been allocating lands by expecting some kind of return. After the coalition government came to power, more than four acres of RTC land at prime locality in Vijayawada was allotted to Lulu Mall. There is definitely a quid pro quo behind these deals, he commented. Further, Raju stated that the AP government announced that Sattva Developer is said to be providing employment to 25,000 people by investing Rs 1,500 crore. 'In fact, Sattva Developers does not directly provide employment to anyone. Only the IT companies set up in the venture provide employment. The government not only allotted land to Sattva at subsidised price but also provided additional benefits in the garb of investment subsidy, electricity subsidy, and SGST exemption under AP IT and GCC Policy 4.0. The government should explain how it is providing subsidies under the policy to a real estate company that is only developing an IT park,' demanded the YSRCP city president.

Jagan vows YSRCP's resurgence, slams ‘vendetta' politics
Tadepalli: YSRC Ppresident Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a scathing attack on the N Chandrababu Naidu-led coalition government, accusing it of pursuing 'vindictive politics' towards its adversaries and neglecting all sections of society by failing to deliver on its electoral promises. Addressing a meeting of party's political affairs committee (PAC) here on Tuesday, he urged the party cadre to expose the government's shortcomings and strengthen the YSRCP from the grassroots, asserting that the future awaits their leadership. Jagan Mohan Reddy alleged that the current coalition government is mired in corruption and is fabricating false cases against YSRCP leaders and senior officials with 'vendetta' to instill fear and divert attention from its own failures in implementing welfare schemes. He provided a detailed account of what he termed the government's vindictive actions, citing the arrests of leaders like P Midhun Reddy, Nandigama Suresh, Kakani Govardhan Reddy, and Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy. The YSRCP chief stated that the total loans taken during his 2019-24 tenure were Rs 3.32 lakh crore, while Naidu has allegedly spent 52 per cent of that amount in just 14 months. He suggested Naidu's recent trip to Singapore was merely to 'stash the looted funds.' During the meeting, PAC members expressed serious concern over alleged security lapses during Jagan's tours, terming them 'deliberate', citing an incident at Bangarupalem. Jagan announced the upcoming launch of a party app aimed at documenting government injustices, enabling citizens to report harassment by individuals or officials. 'We will hold the guilty accountable and ensure justice,' he said. 'We have lost a good government, but the people's support is with us. Together, we will restore justice, rebuild our state, and bring YSRCP back to power,' he added.
