Roma may be forced to make a sacrifice in the upcoming transfer window.
Given that the club will have to operate under UEFA's strict supervision in light of the signed Settlement Agreement, Roma are looking to prioritize certain players over others.

Today's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that the Giallorossi are ready to keep at all costs the likes of Mile Svilar, Matias Soule and Manu Kone.
All three players are considered key pieces for the club's future plans.
On the other hand, Evan Ndicka, one of Roma's best and most consistent players this season, may have to be sold in order to generate the necessary capital gain that would allow Roma to respect FFP parameters.
Ndicka has already caught the attention of several top European clubs.

Roma targets include Echeverri, Nene, Fabio Silva and Nusa

Roma are still seeking an attacking wide man, with options including Claudio Echeverri of Manchester City, Dorgeles Nene, Fabio Silva, Julio Enciso and Antonio Nusa. The Giallorossi have already invested heavily this summer to revamp the squad in the vision of new coach Gian Piero Gasperini. According to the Corriere dello Sport, the former Atalanta tactician is pressuring director of sport Frederic Massara to find him a player in one particular role. That is a wide forward who can take men on and allow him to adapt fully to the 3-4-2-1 formation. The two clubs could negotiate an option to buy along with a counter-option. Other candidates include Red Bull Salzburg winger Dorgeles Nene, a 22-year-old Mali international who had already been linked with Bologna this summer. More expensive alternatives are Enciso of Brighton and Hove Albion, RB Leipzig talent Nusa, and versatile Fabio Silva. While Fabio Silva could not be released on loan, his price tag could be as little as €15m, considering his contract with Wolves expires at the end of the season.

Bernardeschi avoids serious injury, still out for 3 weeks

Bologna will be without new signing Federico Bernardeschi for at least three weeks after a knee injury, but fears of ligament damage were fortunately unfounded. The former Toronto FC wide forward made the move to the Stadio Dall'Ara as a free agent this summer and was hoping to reboot his career after his time in Major League Soccer. There was an immediate setback, as after converting a penalty in the friendly match against Vis Pesaro, he limped off with a knee injury. Bernardeschi knee injury not too serious Federico Bernardeschi playing for Bologna ( Reports immediately suggested they feared it could be serious with ligament damage and possibly the requirement for surgery. However, today it was confirmed Bernardeschi had only suffered a sprain to the right knee. It still means he will be out of action for circa three weeks, but he can at least hope to be back in action for the Serie A season opener against Roma. A more likely scenario is to get him ready for the Week 2 fixture against Como.
