'We have a director attached now, and the script is done, and Sony Studios is going to be producing it.
'It is about to go through a script rewrite.
'It's going to be raw.
'We are not pulling any punches, we are really laying it all out.'
Jack revealed a top team is working on the film, adding: 'The director is absolutely phenomenal.
'I can't say who he is, but we are very lucky to have him and he is a die-hard fan.
'If the evil overlords of Hollywood give us the green light, we could be filming in the spring, so maybe it will be out by the summer of 2027.'
Hailing his dad's incredible 55-year career, Jack said: 'His contribution to music is bigger than his faults.
'This whole weekend has been emotional.'
Jack also paid tribute to Ozzy and his struggles following a Parkinson's diagnosis in 2019, saying: 'He has become a source of inspiration for a lot of people with this disease.
'He is an incredible man.'
I'll say.
Ozzy's epic farewell show wows 40k fans
★★★★★
IT was the day heavy metal royalty returned to the Midlands – and fans welcomed back Brum's No1 son, Ozzy Osbourne, with open arms.
'Put your f***ing hands up,' roared the Prince of Darkness as his bat-throne rose through the floor of the stage.

Black Sabbath's epic Back To The Beginning show at Birmingham's Villa Park was a remarkable return to form for Ozzy.
Black Sabbath fans shocked as A-list actor joins them in mosh pit as Ozzy Osbourne performs for the final time
The last time I saw him in person was when he was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame for the second time in Cleveland, Ohio, last October. And back then, he was struggling with his health.
But clearly the thought of playing with his peers to a huge crowd of devoted metalheads — with another 5.8million watching Saturday's live stream at home — spurred him on.
Armed with a spray for his throat and eyeliner so thick Claudia Winkleman would be jealous, Ozzy worked his way through a 20-minute solo set, before returning to perform alongside his original Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi, Bill Ward and Geezer Butler for the final time.
Ozzy's set was born out of his Eighties solo hits, with Mr Crowley leaving him visibly emotional as he heard the 40,000-strong crowd chanting his name.
'It's so good to be on this f***ing stage,' Ozzy told us.
'I don't know what to say.
'I've been laid up for six years.
'You have no idea how I feel.
'Thank you from the bottom of my heart.'
Ozzy — who has sold more than 70million records worldwide with Sabbath — may have remained on his throne throughout, but it didn't mean he's lost his natural showmanship.
He pulled faces for the crowd, clapped his hands above his head and gleefully pulled the trigger on a powerful water jet, which drenched front row fans who had held their positions for eight hours to get the best view of the performers.
'Go f***ing crazy for me!' Ozzy bellowed, before singing Crazy Train — with the entire stadium getting to their feet.
'That is the best thing I've ever done,' Ozzy told us, before he was whisked away to prepare for his last ever set with Sabbath.
This show was the first time the heavy metal pioneers had performed together since 2017.
But they have a magic the sands of time can't dull — and fans went nuts for War Pigs, N.I.B., Iron Man and Paranoid.
The poignancy of this final show was not lost on anyone.
And I watched grown men and women wipe away tears when fireworks lit up the sky over the stadium.
As Anthrax's frontman John Bush put it, while joining acts including Metallica, Guns n' Roses and Slayer in performing tributes to Ozzy during their killer sets: 'All of us in this stadium plays for one f***ing reason.
'And that's to celebrate the music Black Sabbath gave us.
'We're not here to say goodbye.
'We're here to say thank you.'
OZZY'S band have been awarded the Freedom of Birmingham, with the tourist board declaring this the 'Summer of Sabbath'.
And wandering through the city at the weekend, there were tributes everywhere.
Outside New Street train station a huge 36m mural has been painted of the band, while fans flocked to the Black Sabbath bench on Broad Street for pictures.
If you're in town and haven't caught the mural yet, it's quite a sight.
Ozzy's son Jack told me: 'It has been insane to be here.
'Every street I've gone down it was Ozzy and Sabbath everywhere.'
SHE is the business mastermind behind Ozzy's epic career and has stuck by him through thick and thin over the decades.
But now Sharon Osbourne has revealed she's ready to take a step back.
She said: 'I've been doing this since I was 15, and I'm done.
'We just want to live our life and do what we want to do and not have to follow an itinerary any more.'
Of the reunion, Sharon added: 'This is what we thought would be the best way to do it.
'It's a celebration of Ozzy and Sabbath and the music.'
LZZY HALE proved punk can be pretty as she rocked out with her band Halestorm.
In a laced-up leotard, leather gloves and thigh-high boots, she belted out Ozzy's hit Perry Mason with her US band.

Then the stunning strummer was back alongside Faith No More's Mike Bordin, guitar whizz Nuno Bettencourt, ex-Megadeath bassist David Ellefson, keyboardist Adam Wakeman and one-time Ozzy bandmate, Jake E Lee for a rendition of The Ultimate Sin.
They were just one of the supergroups put together by US rocker Tom Morello to honour legend Ozzy on the day.
Luckily Lzzy could more than hold her own.
DOCU WITH SERIOUS BITE
CELEBRATIONS included a world film premiere of The Nine Lives Of Ozzy Osbourne, at Birmingham's Millennium Point on Friday.
In the documentary, which is available now on Prime, Ozzy opens up about the now-infamous time, at a 1982 concert in Iowa, when he unwittingly bit the head off a dead bat.
He said: 'People would once throw sheep testicles at me, live snakes and dead rats on stage.
'Someone threw a frog and it was the biggest one I have ever seen.
'And someone threw a bat.
'I thought it was a rubber bat and crunched down and realised it was real.
'Bats are the biggest carriers of rabies in the world and I had to go to hospital and get my rabies shots.'
Blud's up for salute
A SURPRISE appearance from punk rocker Yungblud, who came out on stage to pay tribute to Ozzy, stole the show.
The metalheads in the crowd may not have known his music before but I bet they'll be looking him up today after his incredible rendition of Sabbath's 1972 hit Changes.
Yungblud's vocals were outstanding and the passion in his performance stopped the 40,000-strong crowd in their tracks – with the whole stadium singing along with him.
'God bless Black Sabbath and God bless Ozzy Osbourne,' Yungblud said before he left the stage.
Yungblud's short but sweet appearance was one of the highlights of the night – with Steven Tyler and Ronnie Wood's performances also going down a storm.
'YOU'RE KNOT FOR KELLY'
CONGRATS to Ozzy's girl KELLY and her fella SID WILSON, who topped a tremendous day by getting engaged.
Kelly has two-year-old son, Sidney, with the SLIPKNOT DJ, and now they're making it official.
She shared a video online of the cute moment Sid popped the question, and wrote: 'Oh and this happened yesterday!'
In the tape, Sid gets down on one knee and says: 'Kelly, you know I love you more than anything else in the world.'
Ozzy then jokes : 'F**k off, you're not marrying my daughter!'

Police have ‘proportionate and considered' plan ahead of Glasgow Kneecap gig
Police Scotland say they have a 'proportionate and considered policing plan' ahead of Kneecap's gig in Glasgow, which replaces their cancelled slot at the TRNSMT festival. Kneecap were axed from the line-up of TRNSMT in the city amid a row over an investigation by counter-terror police into rapper Mo Chara, who is accused of terrorism offences related to a Hezbollah flag he allegedly held up on stage. The satirical Belfast rap group, who perform in Irish, have been outspoken critics of the war in Gaza and said the prosecution – following an investigation by the Met Police – is linked to their views on Palestine. TRNSMT cancelled Kneecap's performance at the end of May over safety concerns by Police Scotland. On Tuesday, they are set to perform a sold-out gig at the O2 Academy in Glasgow, days before TRNSMT begins on Friday. As well as Kneecap, Billie Eilish and Kendrick Lamar are also performing in Glasgow on Tuesday. Police Scotland say they will aim to minimise disruption in the city. In May, First Minister John Swinney urged for TRNSMT to cancel the performance on July 11, saying that 'organisers of TRNSMT have got to consider that issue.' Mo Chara, also known as Liam Og O hAnnaidh was charged under the name Liam O'Hanna by the Metropolitan Police in May, over the alleged display of a Hezbollah flag at a gig, and appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on June 18. The furore led to calls from Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch for Glastonbury to cancel a performance from the Belfast rappers on June 28, which the festival organisers did not do. Despite being cancelled from TRNSMT, Kneecap are still due to perform scheduled shows at 2000trees rock festival on July 10, Wythenshawe Park in Manchester on August 15 and Belfast Vital on August 29 – nine days after O hAnnaidh's next court appearance. At the last hearing, prosecutor Michael Bisgrove said: 'It's not about Mr O hAnnaidh's support for the people of Palestine or his criticism of Israel. 'He's well within his rights to voice his opinions and solidarity, as is anybody else. 'The allegation in this case is a wholly different thing and deals with a video recording showing that, in November of last year, Mr O hAnnaidh wore and displayed the flag of Hezbollah, a proscribed terrorist organisation, while saying 'up Hamas, up Hezbollah'.' Kneecap have said they have 'never supported' Hamas or Hezbollah, which are banned in the UK. Superintendent Paul Douglas said: 'We are aware of a number of events and concerts due to take place in the Greater Glasgow area in the week beginning Monday July 7 2025. 'A proportionate and considered policing plan is in place within the city and we are working with a number of stakeholders to ensure the safety of all those attending these events and where possible minimise disruption to the people of Glasgow.'

Hollyoaks reveal dramatic moment iconic character returns after one year in unexpected twist
Hollyoaks has revealed the dramatic moment that Tom Cunningham returned to the Channel 4 soap. The iconic character, portrayed by Ellis Hollins, 25, departed the soap in September last year, having played the role of Tom since 2003. Tom and sister Cindy Cunningham had fled the village after discovering her partner Dave Williams (Dominic Power) was none other than mysterious gangster Blue. And in a first look at Tuesdays episode, fans got a glimpse of Tom's return to the show after a once year absence - however, there's an unexpected twist as he's currently behind bars. In the clip, Tom is seen in prison alongside fellow inmate Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey), who had received a visit from Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson). Ste and Rex are seen discussing Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix), but little do they know, Tom is in earshot, and his interest is piqued when he hears the name of his former arch nemesis. Tom consequently gets in touch with Donny Clarke (Louis Emerick), offering up information on Clare. However, Tom later finds himself in danger after Rex is pressured by Clare to murder Tom in prison. In a tense scene in the prison yard, Tom appears isolated and vulnerable, leaving ex with an opportunity to strike. But it remains to be seen whether Rex will succeed or if Tom manages to escape his clutches. Clare made a shock return from the dead last month and as longtime fans will know, she has a long and dark history with Tom. The twisted character tormented Tom as a child and attempted to con his big brother and guardian, Max Cunningham. Viewers will just have to wait and see whether the two characters will finally come face-to-face. Meanwhile, Hollyoaks is gearing up to mark its 30th anniversary this October with a huge month of celebrations. In the clip, Tom is seen in prison alongside fellow inmate Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey), who had received a visit from Ste Hay ( Kieron Richardson ) Viewers will just have to wait and see whether the two characters will finally come face-to-face Show boss Hannah Cheers teased that a signature Hollyoaks stunt is already in the works as she claimed you can't do a Hollyoaks commemoration 'without some kind of spectacle'. She also revealed a huge battle between two Hollyoaks titans will take centre stage for October. Having recently returned from the dead to the village after 12 years, Clare Devine is back, and she's set to clash against serial killer Jez Blake in the run-up to the big anniversary.

EXCLUSIVE Mel B ditched her wild girl reputation for 'low-key' wedding bash which saw most guests heading home by 7pm - however, star plans 'informal and sexy' second 'do in Morocco
Mel B cast aside her once wild girl reputation for her wedding last weekend – stunning guests and onlookers by the lack of hard partying and excess, with most of the guests heading home by 7pm. The Spice Girl, 50, who has previously boasted of late night booze-fuelled sex and taking cocaine six times a day, held her third nuptials in London – tying the knot with hairstylist Rory McPhee, 37. But after a lavish ceremony at St Paul's Cathedral, including a horse and carriage, she took pals and family to a bar at The Shard skyscraper for a bash which many expected to rage well into the early hours. The wedding party arrived at the reception at 4.30pm, however most of Mel's guests had headed for home by 7pm, with many having already changed into casual clothing following just over two hours of socialising. As one guest put it: 'I'd sort of thought for Scary Spice it would be a massive late night party with all the usual showbiz excess but it was the total opposite – it was actually rather low key.' 'Perhaps she's grown up a lot in the last few years and settled down. It was all a long way from how she used to be.' Mel's children, Phoenix, 26, and Angel, 18, spent much of the festivities stood outside the hotel entrance smoking rolled up cigarettes – with security even moving them away from the well-heeled venue to avoid upsetting other residents and visitors. The news of Mel's subdued celebrations comes after it was previously reported that she and her new husband were expected to throw a huge 'party in the sky' amid their £28,000 lavish celebrations at The Shard. At the Shangri-La venue inside the building, friends and family were expected to dance into the small hours as the 'party of the century' had been promised by the bride and groom. One source involved in the wedding said: 'It is going to be huge, the Shard is the most fantastic venue with unforgettable views so it will make for the most memorable event. 'It is conveniently close to St Paul's too, it's third time lucky for Mel so she is going to go all out and celebrate. 'The Shard says that brides and grooms can 'celebrate their special day in the clouds with enchanting London views, your special day will be as breathtaking as your love story' and that is exactly what Mel wants.' However, there's more celebrating to come for the happy couple as they're set to host a second wedding in Morocco, which has been described as 'informal and sexy'. The second nuptials will be offer her Spice Girls bandmates a second chance to attend her wedding celebrations after only Emma Bunton attended the big day at St Paul's Cathedral on Saturday. As one guest put it: 'I'd sort of thought for Scary Spice it would be a massive late night party with all the usual showbiz excess but it was the total opposite – it was actually rather low key' Mel C, 51, and Victoria Beckham, 51, both paid tribute to the bride and groom after they were forced to miss the wedding. However Geri Halliwell has so far failed to acknowledge the star-studded day. Geri will be given the chance to extend an olive branch to Mel if she attends the North African ceremony - which holds a significance for the girl band. In 2015, the Spice Girls had a mini reunion in Morocco when they jetted there to celebrate David Beckham 's 40th birthday. Sporty, Posh, Baby and Ginger looked in great spirits as they posed for snaps at the event - but ironically - this time Mel B was the only Spice Girl not in attendance. Instead, Eva Longoria filled in for Scary - joking 'I'm the new Spice Girl! #LatinaSpice'. Now, there will be chance to get a snap of the full lineup in Morocco if they attend Mel's second wedding in the summer - which she has described as 'more informal, sexy and beautiful '. Mel B told The Sun of her plans for a second wedding to Rory later this summer and said she'd already splashed out on a gown to wear. 'In one incredible afternoon I found two perfect dresses. One beautiful classic dress by Josephine Scott, a British designer, and one stunning dramatic dress by a US designer, Justin Alexander'. Guests including Alan Carr and Leigh Francis were quick to offer their congratulations, while fellow bandmate Geri remained silent. The pair have a tempestuous relationship and at times have struggled to be in the same room without there being animosity. Geri continued to snub Mel B on Sunday after her lavish wedding weekend - while the likes of Heidi Klum, Paloma Faith and Kerry Katona led the stars sending the Spice Girl congratulatory messages following the ceremony. However other Spice Girl Victoria
