Dan Osborne's lavish anniversary gift for Jac Jossa after flirty texts row
Former TOWIE star, Dan Osborne, has reportedly shelled out £1,000 on an anniversary gift for his wife, Jac Jossa, after he was accused of sending flirty texts to Christine McGuinness
Dan Osborne is said to have splashed out a cool £1,000 on an anniversary gift for wife, Jacqueline Jossa, after rumours of a flirty text exchange with Christine McGuinness.
The dad-of-three, 32, was accused of sending saucy messages to the former Miss Liverpool during her breakup with Paddy McGuinness, but denied anything untoward went on as his pal insisted the pair were 'just friends'. Following the rumours - which are among many to have rocked Dan and Jac's relationship over the years - the former TOWIE star pulled out all the stops for the couple's eight-year anniversary this week, which the beaming EastEnders star, 32, documented on Instagram.
Sharing a snap of herself in front of an enormous bouquet of flowers, while Dan reportedly spent more than £1,000-a-night on the plush Bishopsgate Suite at London 's swanky Pan Pacific Hotel - according to The Sun - Jac looked delighted.
In the photo taken at the couple's home, a sign can be seen, which reads: "Daniel and Jacqueline: Teddy, Ella and Mia. When we have each other, we have everything."
Jac and Dan were later spotted enjoying a slap-up tasting menu at celebrity eatery, Ivy Asia, after the Celebrity Big Brother star had a surprise bouquet delivered to their home before the night even began.
Insiders say Dan's grand gestures were warmly received by Jac, who took to Instagram, sharing a slew of snaps from the happy day.
A source reportedly close to the couple told The Sun: 'Dan's really trying to make it work — and Jacqueline's clearly touched by the effort. It's early days, but this could be a fresh start."
In a carousel of snaps from their romantic escape, the EastEnders star showed off their swanky hotel suite, complete with views of St Paul's Cathedral.
She later posted a snap of her husband, looking out onto the London skyline as the sun set as she wrote: "Happy eighth wedding anniversary," adding an eyes welling up emoji.
There was also a bouquet of pink flowers with a bottle of bubbles among the snaps, on which Dan had written a note, which read: "Cheers to you beauty!"
It comes after the couple, who share daughters, Mia and Ella, were hit with a number of allegations about their marriage after announcing in March they were spending time apart before giving things another go on a "make or break" holiday to Mexico with their kids.
After announcing they had decided to spend time apart earlier this year, Jac and Dan seemed like they were not ready to give each up just yet as they jetted off to central America. Speaking to the Mirror, a source said the pair were "trying to fall back in love with each other again."
However, Dan was then accused of sending flirty texts to Christine, however his pal claimed the dad-of-three would "hate for there to be any suggestion of impropriety", adding '"a man and woman can be mates".

Kieran Trippier 'growing close to adult star' after collapse of his marriage
Footballer Kieran Trippier was spotted out with a mystery woman in recent weeks following months of reports his marriage was on the rocks - and now she has been identified as an OnlyFans star Kieran Trippier enjoyed a night out with an OnlyFans star before announcing his split from his wife, a report has claimed. The 34-year-old footballer, who plays for Premier League club Newcastle United as a right-back, has been married for nine years. He married partner Charlotte in Cyprus in 2016 and they went on to welcome a son named, Jacob, and two daughters, named Esme and Isla. For months, reports have raged that the couple have been in troubled waters - with headlines last year suggesting they had holidayed separately amid concerns for their marriage. Last September, there were concerns the marriage was over when Kieran was seen without his wedding ring. And two weeks ago, it was reported he had been spotted out with a mystery woman. Now the mystery has seemingly been solved, as the blonde woman he was spotted out and about with in Newcastle has been unmasked as an OnlyFans content creator named Sienna Day. A source told The Sun:"After leaving the Wafi Lounge, Kieran was in another club with Sienna and they appeared close. She is well known on the scene in Newcastle and was with him in the club for just over an hour. 'They left not long before 3am. Kieran looked very taken with Sienna.' The Mirror has approached representatives of Kieran for comment. Last week it was reported that Kieran and Charlotte had been separated for a year and are now planning to get a divorce. It was reported that the couple were keen to carry on with their lives while planning to make their divorce "as amicable as possible." Earlier this month, it was reported that Kieran had been spotted out in Newcastle partying with Geordie Shore star Chloe Ferry. The England international, who has 54 caps, shared with his followers that he's moving forward after parting ways with his wife. Charlotte subsequently broke her silence on the reports of the end of their marriage, telling fans she is "fine" but not ready to talk. Taking to Instagram last week in view of her 34,300 followers, she said she had been inundated with messages of support from women and also men who had been sending their well wishes. "I just wanted to let everyone know that I am fine," she said. Charlotte added: "Obviously, I am not ready to talk about my situation. "In time I will, when I am comfortable and the time is right, also I have three young children, haven't I, so I don't want to be putting things out there for them to see. But yeah, I just wanted to let everyone know it's not that bad, and you can get through it once you make the decision. "Like, you can get through it, the sparkle does come back, I feel like I am getting my glow back again, and yeah, like, you'll get there. So, anyone that needs any motivational speech or just some general chit chat, I'm all about mental health and stuff like that, I'm letting you know you will absolutely get through, any sort of break up or anything similar to what I'm going through." Charlotte's post which has been liked over 2,800 times was soon flooded with messages of support. Former The Only Way Is Essex star Billi Mucklow penned: "Keep sparkling beautiful." One Newcastle United fan penned: "I live in the North East and I'm a huge Newcastle fan, I love Trippier on the pitch and all he's done for the team, and if I'm being honest, I didn't want to believe what I was reading on social media about him. However, I wanted to say I've followed you for a while now and what a lovely, genuine person you seem to be. Always so happy and classy. You're so pretty, he's lost a good one there!" Charlotte replied to the fan: "Thanks so much! Tripps defo does great on the pitch and so happy for you Geordies that you are doing so well! Much love to the Geordies."

Love Island star ordered to change image for fame after villa
Love Island alumni Liberty Poole has always been her own woman - from keeping it real in the villa to embracing those fabulous curves as she admits she was asked to do one strange thing post-villa She might not have found lasting love during her two stints on Love Island, but Liberty Poole is proof that staying true to yourself is perhaps the real win when it comes to participating in the dating show. The 25-year-old Brummie first found fame in 2021 when she coupled up with Jake Cornish on day one in the villa and quickly became one half of the show's golden couple – until she called time on the romance, days before the final. Last year, Liberty gave love another shot on Love Island: All Stars but, once again, chose self-respect over game-playing guys. Since then, as she exclusively tells OK!, she's turned her relationship woes into a platform for body positivity, inspiring her 1.3 million Instagram followers to embrace their imperfections. READ MORE: Michelle Keegan joins Padel trend with powerful racket that is 'ideal for female players' Hi Liberty! Looking back, how do you feel about your experiences in the villa? You know, no matter what, I always come out a stronger person. But yes, I feel like my journeys in the villa weren't the easiest. It's a time I'll always cherish, but there were also some negative things to deal with. Obviously, I had to rewatch my boyfriend on TV saying he wasn't attracted to me, then in the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge, I got pied three times. I was the girl who was never picked or fancied. I think it's important to remember that there's such a small group of people in there, it's not a reflection on you – it's just the nature of the show. We're in the middle of the current series – any changes you would have liked to have seen this season? Well, I feel like they've come a long way since earlier seasons with diversity, but I do think they could still do more with body diversity as well. There's always a certain body type that goes into the villa, so I think more could be done in that sense. Because I'm a bit of a curvier girl myself, I do a lot of body positivity now online. Before I went on Love Island, I used to heavily edit my photos and shrink my waist. Whereas, when you're in front of a camera, you can't hide. Did you feel like people in the All Stars villa knew how to play the game and weren't taking part to find love? Yeah, I definitely think some people did. I remember having a conversation with one particular person in the All Stars villa and I was honestly just trying to have a genuine conversation with them. They said to me, 'Oh no, you're not doing this conversation right, you're mentioning the fourth wall.' They said that we needed to 'redo' the conversation. It wasn't even one of the producers who said that – it was a cast member. I realised people were actually thinking like that. I just went in as me because I don't think anything else would have worked for me. Do you think it's still possible to begin a long-lasting relationship in the villa or is it now more of a platform to find fame? I would say it's evolved more into that now, yes, because I think people are very aware that you go on the show and you get a certain following and it does open up opportunities and doors for you. I would say it's maybe more evolved into that now than the first season, but I wouldn't paint everyone with the same brush and say everyone's in it for the fame. I still think people do go into the villa open to finding love. Were there any challenges you experienced, returning to normality after you left Love Island for the first time? The welfare team really supports you during your time on the show and after the show, when you return home. For me, the difficulty was coming out. Never compromise your happiness for fame and money. You do get a bit love-bombed by the show. Obviously, you're busy when you come out and it's this crazy whirlwind, but it calms down. From the start, I'd say do not compare yourself to anyone else because everyone else's journey in the industry is different. When I came out, I had times where I was told to wear designer bags more to elevate my image. That just wasn't me – no thanks. What advice would you give any prospective Islanders? Just be yourself. I've been there and I've seen people be themselves and it works out for them a lot better than the people who try to pretend or play up to the camera in some way. Also, the public are not stupid. So just be yourself and you'll get further down the line. Some people's experiences are that you go in and find love and end up in a long-lasting relationship, like Alex and Olivia [Bowen], Indiyah [Polack] and Dami [Hope] – they're all still in very happy relationships. You can be open to that aspect, but I wouldn't go in with that expectation.

TOWIE'S Bobby Norris calls for more openness about surgery
A reality TV star says "transparency is key" when it comes to influencers being honest about cosmetic procedures they have Norris, who appeared in The Only Way is Essex from 2012 to 2021, said he had been offered a variety of cosmetic procedures over the years as a result of appearing on television."Be honest about it - don't say it's down to a moisturiser or a product, when really you've been under the knife," Norris the Liberal Democrat MP for Chelmsford, Marie Goldman, said she was concerned more transparency could lead to cosmetic procedures being "normalised". "With transparency comes normalisation," she said."If a lot of celebrities are saying I've had this procedure and it was fine, it becomes - to children - a very normal thing to do." Norris, who has been acting as a guest editor on the BBC Essex breakfast show with Sonia Watson, opened up about his relationship with cosmetic procedures."When I joined TOWIE fifteen years ago everyone was offering it, and because it was free and you see yourself in magazines you think I'll have a little bit of this, what's the worst that can happen?" he said."I had people asking me if I wanted a top up every two months."Norris quit the show in 2021 after being a regular cast member for more than a decade. He is now calling for more reality TV stars and influencers to "be honest" about their cosmetic surgery. He told BBC Essex: "There are girls out there who will go to a gym, do three squats and film it for social media. "They'll then jet off to Turkey and get a BBL (Brazilian Bum Lift) and they will make out that they got their bum organically from doing squats." Goldman said she believed it was "quite obvious" when people had cosmetic surgery - and the results looked "quite strange", adding: "It doesn't always look as good as they think it does"."People are getting injections in public toilets and what we're seeing is it's gone terribly wrong and they've got terrible infections from it. So we have to acknowledge there is a risk that goes with it," she it stands, a licence is not required to perform cosmetic procedures like botox injections and dermal fillers in England, but this could change if an amendment brought forward in 2022 is passed by government has previously suggested making changes to the Health and Care Act, which would bring in a scheme to protect consumers from unlicensed practitioners.
