Aubrey O'Day claims Diddy influenced her surgery decisions

Perth Nowa day ago
Aubrey O'Day has suggested Sean 'Diddy' Combs influenced her decision to get plastic surgery.
The 41-year-old singer stars in Danity Kane, the band created by Diddy, and Aubrey has revealed how the hip-hop star influenced her decision to go under the knife.
During an appearance on Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind, Aubrey explained: "It started with being in a girl group. The demands I noticed of my looks. Diddy was ... this is a hard topic for me. I was the sexy one, and that needed to be who I was at all times."
Aubrey admitted to having one big regret about her surgeries, describing her lips as being "very ducky".
She said: "I immediately think of these f****** lips on the top of my face.
"They're, like, very uneven, they stick out, they're very ducky. You know, not all surgeons are built the same and some don't have the balls to tell you we need to stop here."
Diddy was recently found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution at a trial in New York. However, the music mogul was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
Aubrey took to social media following the trial to express her concerns.
She wrote on Instagram at the time: "I'm still unpacking the magnitude of it all. The cultural weight of this decision is immeasurable. It is heartbreaking to witness how many lives have been impacted by their experiences with Sean Combs—only for those stories to fall short in the eyes of a jury."
Meanwhile, Aubrey denied having plastic surgery in a 2019 interview.
The singer claimed at the time that she simply knew lots of beauty "tricks".
Aubrey told Us Weekly: "I've had lip fillers and Botox. I put a lot of filters. I know all the tricks and I use them."
The music star also insisted she's not bothered by criticism of her appearance.
Asked if she's concerned by her critics, Aubrey replied: "Not at all. When I was 17 maybe. I think the worst comment I ever read, and then I didn't read any more, was, 'She looks like an old leather handbag that's been put in the dryer 15 times.' That was one of my faves."

Brooke Hogan shares sad details about fallout with famous father Hulk Hogan

Brooke Hogan asked to be removed from her father's will in 2023. Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan died from cardiac arrest on July 24, aged 71, and Brooke, 37, reportedly made the will request two years ago because she 'didn't want to get caught up in a financial battle when he passed', according to TMZ. Brooke is said to have wanted to protect her father from people she believed 'were taking advantage of him' but after many years of disagreements, she contacted his financial manager and asked to be removed as a beneficiary. Brooke is reportedly set to receive a small sum from a life insurance trust and is planning to put the money towards her children's college funds. Meanwhile, following her father's death, Brooke took to social media to pay tribute and to reflect on their turbulent relationship. 'My dad's blood runs though my veins. His eyes shine through my children. And our bond has never broken, not even in his final moments,' she said in a lengthy post on Instagram. 'We had a connection deeper than words, one that spanned lifetimes. I am so grateful I knew the real version of him. Not just the one the world viewed through a carefully curated lens. 'We shared a quiet, sacred bond, one that could be seen and felt by anyone who witnessed us together. 'When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us. I know he's at peace now, out of pain, and in a place as beautiful as he imagined. 'He used to speak about this moment with such wonder and hope. Like meeting God was the greatest championship he'd ever have.' Brooke also used her post to 'clear a few things up' regarding their estrangement. The TV personality (who featured with Hulk in the reality show Hogan Knows Best) wrote: 'It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand. 'My father was confiding in me about issues weighing on his heart, both personal and business. 'I offered to be a life raft in whatever capacity he needed. I told him he had my support. I begged him to rest, to take care of himself.' Brooke ultimately took a step back from her dad in order to 'protect (her) heart'. However, she does not have any regrets about how she dealt with the situation. She said: 'I know in my heart I did everything I could. 'He knew I would run through a burning building for him. And in many ways, along the path of life, I did. 'He knows how deeply, how hard and how purely I loved him. I am at peace knowing this.'

Fed-up locals retrieve German backpacker's abandoned van

Locals in WA's Wheatbelt region have taken matters into their own hands and retrieved the van abandoned by German backpacker Carolina Wilga after she went missing for 12 days in remote bushland. The now-famous traveller survived almost two weeks alone after her van became stuck in soft sand and she abandoned it, wandering off to try and get help. She was miraculously found by Wheatbelt resident Tania French, who Wilga described as her 'angel.' The 26-year-old spent the next several days recovering in a Perth hospital, revealing she had lost 12kg during the ordeal. If you'd like to view this content, please adjust your . But then this happened. Locals from The Wheatbelt Way, the Sprigg family, stepped up, driving deep into the bush to recover Carolina's van. This is what community looks like,' the video says. The post was flooded with comments, including from Fred Sprigg who seemed to be part of the community group that retrieved the van, but was left questioning his actions. 'Was a community effort. Don't like leaving rubbish in the bush. (It) was an expensive exercise to retrieve, would not have been worth it. Was questioning my life choices in the effort,' he wrote. 'Certainly more questions than answers. Is service on top of the rock. Van ran out of fuel on the way out. What would you do if it was your daughter on the other side of the world? I hope she found herself.' Other commenters were quick to side with Sprigg, saying that Wilga's actions were reckless. 'Absolutely vandalism of the bush her driving like a nut case out there! Could of started fires too with exhaust on scrub. Ploughing down the scrub with recklessly dangerous choices,' one person said. 'Still can't understand how she ended up that far into the bush,' another person commented. Backpacker Carolina Wilga recovered in Fiona Stanley hospital in Perth after the ordeal. This lady was blessed by folk who didn't give up,' one person wrote. 'Well done 'The Sprigg Family,' the family are Salt of the Earth who have a wonderful heart and community minded,' another said. The Sprigg family has been contacted for comment.

Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson secretly dating

Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson have reportedly been secretly dating for a while. Anderson, 58, and her Naked Gun co-star Neeson, 73, have refused to confirm speculation they are a couple but it has been claimed they have been spending time together at her home in Canada. A source told 'Pam is very drawn to Liam because he is totally open to her way of thinking and living, and especially her approach to fame, which is impressive. 'She has been telling friends he is smitten and does a lot of sweet things for her, like sending her flowers, and spending time with her sons and dogs.' 'Pam cooks and gardens at home... it's wholesome and appealing and very un-Hollywood and Liam loves that. He actually gets involved.' Anderson and Neeson are said to have had immediate chemistry on the Naked Gun set. An insider told Us Weekly: 'They always had chemistry while they were filming and their friendship naturally developed into more. 'They are learning how to navigate it together. They are both shy and have tried to stay private but the spark between them is obvious.' And, Neeson has received the seal of approval from Pamela's sons Brandon Thomas Lee, 29, and Dylan Jagger Lee, 27, who she shares with ex-husband Tommy Lee. Neeson has two sons, Micheal, 30, and Daniel, 28, with late wife Natasha Richardson, who died in 2009 at the age of 45. He previously confessed to being 'madly in love' with Anderson as he gushed about working with her. 'She's just terrific to work with. I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with,' Neeson told People.
