Aubrey O'Day reveals how Sean Diddy Combs triggered her plastic surgery spiral
Aubrey O'Day is no stranger to the knife, or the spotlight, but in a raw new reveal, she is finally tracing the start of her cosmetic surgery addiction. In a recent episode of Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind, the Danity Kane alum emotionally opened up about how her time under Sean 'Diddy' Combs' management left lasting scars. From girl group glam to Aubrey O'Day's plastic regrets The singer, now 41, got candid with Dr. Terry Dubrow about how her transformation journey began during her stint on MTV's Making the Band in the mid-2000s. She revealed that being labelled 'the sexy one' came with pressure that never really left her. The constant expectation to look hot, polished, and picture-perfect became her normal, until it spiralled into surgical obsession. 'Rewind' but not rewritten As part of the show's retreat, Aubrey initially hoped to strip things back and explore a more natural version of herself. But after seeing the impressive results of other retreat participants, she admitted she felt tempted to go under the knife again. While half-joking, her confession showed how deep the urge still runs. Dr. Dubrow, ever the voice of reason, reminded her that the goal of the retreat was to repair, not repeat. And though Aubrey still supports plastic surgery, she did express one standout regret: her lips. She called them uneven, duck-like, and a clear example of a surgeon pushing her past the limit without warning. Aubrey addresses Diddy's verdict Outside the cosmetic theatre, Aubrey is still processing the weight of Diddy's recent legal drama. After the rap mogul was convicted of transporting individuals for prostitution but cleared of sex trafficking and racketeering, she broke her silence on Instagram Stories. She stated that the verdict did not erase the pain of countless individuals who had crossed paths with Diddy. The emotional aftermath of that verdict, she said, was something she was still unpacking, highlighting the cultural weight it carried, especially for survivors. Celebs who joined the chorus against Diddy Aubrey is not alone. Will Smith, Wendy Williams, and Eminem have also spoken out, some distancing themselves, others unleashing lyrical jabs or calling it long overdue. The whispers around Diddy are now full-blown headlines, and Aubrey's story adds another powerful voice to the conversation.

Aubrey O'Day claims Diddy influenced her surgery decisions
Aubrey O'Day has suggested Sean 'Diddy' Combs influenced her decision to get plastic surgery. The 41-year-old singer stars in Danity Kane, the band created by Diddy, and Aubrey has revealed how the hip-hop star influenced her decision to go under the knife. During an appearance on Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind, Aubrey explained: "It started with being in a girl group. The demands I noticed of my looks. Diddy was ... this is a hard topic for me. I was the sexy one, and that needed to be who I was at all times." Aubrey admitted to having one big regret about her surgeries, describing her lips as being "very ducky". She said: "I immediately think of these f****** lips on the top of my face. "They're, like, very uneven, they stick out, they're very ducky. You know, not all surgeons are built the same and some don't have the balls to tell you we need to stop here." Diddy was recently found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution at a trial in New York. However, the music mogul was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Aubrey took to social media following the trial to express her concerns. She wrote on Instagram at the time: "I'm still unpacking the magnitude of it all. The cultural weight of this decision is immeasurable. It is heartbreaking to witness how many lives have been impacted by their experiences with Sean Combs—only for those stories to fall short in the eyes of a jury." Meanwhile, Aubrey denied having plastic surgery in a 2019 interview. The singer claimed at the time that she simply knew lots of beauty "tricks". Aubrey told Us Weekly: "I've had lip fillers and Botox. I put a lot of filters. I know all the tricks and I use them." The music star also insisted she's not bothered by criticism of her appearance. Asked if she's concerned by her critics, Aubrey replied: "Not at all. When I was 17 maybe. I think the worst comment I ever read, and then I didn't read any more, was, 'She looks like an old leather handbag that's been put in the dryer 15 times.' That was one of my faves."

Aubrey O'Day Removes Lip Filler
Aubrey O'Day is opening up about her experience with cosmetic procedures — including her decision to remove her lip filler. Aubrey, 41, has long denied getting plastic surgery, but she has admitted to getting Botox and lip filler. On Wednesday, she spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the ongoing discussion surrounding her appearance and what led her to undo the work she had done. Aubrey said, "According to the internet, [I've had a lot of plastic surgery]. And by the way, if I look at the photos they use, I really would believe it. Like, they're taking Photoshopped photos from years ago, and they're putting it next to something. It's, like, your face develops. I was a kid when I started. I was 100 pounds. I didn't have any development." "And so I just get murdered left and right for all these things that everybody thinks," Aubrey shared, "when really, I got lip fillers that were like, invading my face. And I thought they really looked good until they took 'em away and I got to see that I was trippin.' Good God! I'm so happy those lips are off my face." Aubrey added, "When I see photos with the lip injections, I'm disgusted. I thought I was killing it, and I was not, ever was I killing it with those big, giant [lips]. When people would say 'duck lips,' I'd be like, 'They're just jealous,' oh no, they were trying to tell me. Some people aren't haters, some people really are trying to guide you better." Regarding why she ever got lip fillers, Aubrey pointed to their widespread popularity and availability. "So many people in L.A. have big, fat lips that are done by doctors that just give it to you for free," she stated. "And the doctor kept having me come in and kept doing it for free, and I was just keeping up with the Joneses, but I didn't realize it was taking over my face." Now, Aubrey says, she looks so much "younger" after dissolving her filler, which is noticeable from the interview: But that's not all she had done. She also revealed that she got a breast lift in January following her appearance on E's Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind — which follows her and other celebrities who are thinking about reversing their cosmetic procedures — after years spent "taping them up." "Now these things are just sitting," Aubrey gushed. "No bra, no tape, no nothing. They're just up. They're back like my 21-year-old titties, and I love it. So I would tell everybody that surgery was great, I'll tell you the surgeon. They look amazing. Like, very, very minimal scars. I'm so happy that my boobs are finally back where they deserve to be after all the work I've done in my life." Watch the full interview here:

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A North Carolina family of four — including two young children — was killed when their small plane crashed in a field northeast of Sanford on Monday afternoon as they returned from a beach trip in Florida. Federal investigators say the single-engine Cirrus SR22T aircraft went down shortly after 1:30 p.m. under unknown circumstances. The National Transportation Safety Board said an investigator was expected at the crash site Tuesday and that the wreckage would be transported to a facility for further analysis. The victims were identified as 35-year-olds Travis and Candace Buchanan, along with their children, 10-year-old Aubrey and 9-year-old Walker, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. Three of the four family members died at the scene, while the fourth was pronounced dead at a hospital. There were no survivors in the crash. Flight records indicate the aircraft, registered to Travis Buchanan of Sanford, departed Merritt Island, Florida, around 11 a.m. Monday. It disappeared from tracking near Sanford, about 40 miles southwest of Raleigh, just over two hours later. The plane was based at Raleigh Executive Jetport, located a few miles from the crash site, the airport confirmed in a social media post. The Buchanans were well-known in the Sanford community. Local television station WRAL reported the family owned Buchanan Farms, and an employee, Abraham Garcia, described Travis Buchanan as a generous and kind employer. "He helped me all the time," Garcia told the station. Grace Christian School in Sanford also mourned the family's loss, confirming that Aubrey was set to enter fifth grade and Walker fourth grade this fall. "It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of one of our Crusader Families," the school said in a statement on Facebook. "During this incredibly difficult time, we stand together in support of their family and one another." The Federal Aviation Administration and the NTSB are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. This is a breaking news story. Updates to follow.
