Inside Fort Belvedere, Prince William and Kate Middleton's Rumored—and Very Grand—New Home

Rumor has it that Prince William and Kate Middleton are on the move.
According to the British tabloids, the Wales family may relocate from Adelaide Cottage, their four-bedroom home in Windsor Great Park to the nearby Fort Belvedere, which is located at the southern end of the vast 4,800-acre Crown Estate.
While the speculation about the Wales family moving house should be taken with a grain of salt (Kensington Palace has not confirmed or commented on the news), it has put the 125-year-old property back on the public's radar.
Fort Belvedere circa 1936.
Fort Belvedere has a fascinating history: it was built in 1750 after the Scottish Rebellion of 1745 as a military lookout; in the 1820s, King George IV decided to turn it into a country home instead. (Although some things couldn't be converted: to this day, Fort Belvedere still has antique cannons positioned on its grounds.) Its strategic location on a pine tree-covered hill also makes for an idyllic setting: it boasts vast views of the bucolic English countryside. During Queen Victoria's reign, the royal family often rode out to Fort Belvedere from Windsor Castle to enjoy tea service.
Over a century later in 1930, news broke that Fort Belvedere was about to receive a very famous—and now infamous—tenant: Edward, the Prince of Wales.
Not yet married to Wallis Simpson, Edward took great care in cultivating his country seat. 'In laying out his estate at Fort Belvedere, the Prince of Wales has made the most beautiful situation. He has taken he great personal interest in the color scheme of the gardens, designed by Mrs. Harry Lindsay,' read a 1933 story in The Illustrated London News. They also (excitedly) noted that the property had a swimming pool and a tennis court. The Times of London, meanwhile, described a dining room painted a pale green and with landscape murals inspired by Turner's watercolor of Harewood.

SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY – Our First FULL Look at Tom Holland's Amazing New Suit! — GeekTyrant

Spider-Man is back, and he's rocking a whole new vibe. Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures just dropped the first full look at Tom Holland's latest Spider-suit for Spider-Man: Brand New Day in a new video, and it's sure to get fans excited! The suit made a brief appearance in yesterday's teaser, but now we've got the full reveal, and it's designed with a clear nod to the suits worn by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, this version brings together the designs of both Spidey worlds. There's the deep, matte red, the navy blue mesh texture reminiscent of Garfield's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 , and the raised black webbing that channels the Raimi-era aesthetic. Right in the center, the spider emblem is larger and more angular, combining classic boldness with the sleek lines seen in Holland's earlier MCU appearances. The suit also looks like it's more homemade and there's no Stark tech. No gadgets, no AI, just Peter Parker doing it all on his own. It's a perfect reflection of where the character is now. As you know, Peter was stripped of his identity after the memory wipe in Spider-Man: No Way Home , and starting over without his former support system. Set photos have already started popping up online, with production kicking off in Glasgow, Scotland, once again subbing in for New York City. Keep your eyes peeled, because more glimpses of the new suit are sure to surface. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is slated for release on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase Six of the MCU. Returning writers Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers are handling the script, which reportedly takes Peter back to being a street-level hero in NYC. The movie is said to be relatively standalone but is expected to set the stage for next December's massive crossover Avengers: Doomsday . The film's cast is stacked alongside Holland, featuring Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, and Michael Mando. Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters July 31, 2026. Check out the video below and let us know what you think of the new suit!
