Former four-star Mississippi State guard Kanye Clary to enter transfer portal
Clary came to MSU from Penn State and was a former four-star recruit out of Massanutten Military Academy (Virginia Beach, VA). He initially signed with the Nittany Lions as saw limited time as a true freshman. Bulldogs coach Chris Jans saw him as an option to run the offense, but fell short of expectations after seven games.

At that point, Clary was sidelined due to injury and missed the rest of the season. Many expected he would return for his senior season but that's not the case. He contributed 6.3 points per game during his time with MSU.
At 6-foot and 180 pounds, Clary posted his best year as a sophomore, averaging 16.7 points, which was eighth-best in the Big Ten. He started 20 games before a pair of injuries ended the season in February.
The NCAA transfer portal for basketball opens up on March 24 this year and runs through April 22. The window was moved back one week to allow players participating in March Madness.

Harris "Harris has shown ball-hawking skills and loves to press and jam receivers," said Miller. "He's still a bit green, having started only one season, but last season's tape -- along with Penn State's track record in developing defenders -- makes Harris one of the most promising corners in the country." Losing Harris via the transfer portal hurt for Georgia. There's no doubt he's one of Georgia's most painful transfer exits in recent memory along with quarterback Carson Beck and outside linebacker Damon Wilson after the 2024 season. Mayde Creek (Texas) four-star edge-rusher Kosi Okpala is set to announce his college commitment Thursday at 10 a.m. CT. The 6-foot-2, 230-pound edge-rusher, out of Houston, is down to a final four of Baylor, Miami, Penn State and Texas. As a junior, he recorded 55 tackles, 17 tackles-for-loss, 5 sacks, 2 force fumbles and 1 fumble recoveries. So, where is he headed? Okpala took official visits to all four of his finalists, but it was the Longhorns that earned his final trip.
