Television actress Megha Ray is currently seen in Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani. Playing the strong and spirited Divya in the mystical romance drama, Megha has seamlessly blended her love for fitness into her on-set routine. While most actors kick off their shooting schedules with a warm cup of coffee or tea, the Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani star prefers something far more energising—a mini dumbbell workout in her makeup room.
Recently spotted lifting weights behind the scenes, the actress revealed that her quick morning dumbbell session is now a non-negotiable part of her routine, even during a demanding schedule.
In a conversation with ETimes, Megha shared, 'It's just a small morning warm-up. This isn't my actual workout routine. Whenever I get time, either before or after makeup, I quickly lift some weights. It helps tone my arms and overall makes me feel better."
She went on to say, 'Every morning, I lift my dumbbells for a couple of minutes. I feel it improves my posture and makes me feel strong and confident."
Expressing how her role in the show demands her to be active, she said, 'Our show Divya Prem is all about strength and action, so I like feeling strong. That's why dumbbells are a part of my morning warm-up."
For Megha, staying fit isn't just about looking good—it's a necessity to maintain energy levels on long shoot days. 'Staying fit is essential. Of course, it looks good on screen, but more importantly, when I'm fit, I don't feel tired at work."
'Touchwood, I can manage long shoot days, dance for hours, and I want to carry that energy with me throughout my life. So yes, warming up and exercising are important, not just to look good, but to feel good. It's now a part of my lifestyle," she added.
What's ahead?
During the same conversation, the actress also revealed her plans to level up her on-set fitness setup. 'I want to push myself and try more advanced workouts. I have been planning this for a long time, but with television schedules, it's difficult to maintain that rhythm. I am figuring out how to bring fitness on set, but I have slowly started setting things up here. Right now, it's just dumbbells, but I do plan to bring in more equipment for regular use," she said.

However, the broadcaster was reprimanded for his intense delivery. He admitted: 'When I tell you that I was marching out like, 'Carrie, I am slammed! I'm gonna be with you in a minute!' And Michael Patrick King comes over after we do it twice, and he goes, 'Um, this is a really pivotal scene for Carrie.' He didn't tell me, but now I know that she just had a big fight with Aiden." Michael told Andy: 'You're stealing focus from Carrie. The episode title should now be called Daniel's Busiest Day. And it's not about Daniel's Busiest Day, keep it on Carrie!'" Andy also received advice from Sarah. He added: 'It was very specific, and I was saying it in the wrong place. I was just a disaster. But it was so funny, the idea that it was 'Daniel's Busy Day.'"
