, Harlow didn't hesitate to reflect on how their friendship began. 'I think my first race was in Monaco, quite some time ago, maybe seven, eight years ago, and I have been friends with Lewis Hamilton for about that amount of time,' she shared in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE. Her bond with Hamilton is rooted in social circles and shared passions. 'I think it's really important to support your friends, and my dad is also a mechanic, so I've always been around cars.'
'I think his strength [is his best quality]. He's been doing this forever, literally, and even if you watch videos of him as a child, he's always had such a passion for the sport,' Harlow said. 'I think his drive — his passion — really sets him apart. He is one of one, honestly.'
In the fashion realm, Hamilton has also carved out a space of his own. As a co-chair of this year's Met Gala, alongside Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, Anna Wintour, and honorary chair LeBron James, he has solidified his place as a cultural tastemaker. Harlow, too, brought her own fashion perspective to the eBay auction, working with Brie Welch — eBay's new Resident Stylist, who's dressed names like Katie Holmes. 'I really do love this vintage Moschino vest. And there's this really beautiful Cartier watch. I'm obsessed with these Vetements pants,' she noted.
The auction runs until May 12 and is packed with vintage gems, including Celine wedge boots and a Gucci Jackie bag. But more than just a style drop, the collection symbolizes Harlow's passion for merging purpose, friendship, and personal history.
