Amr Diab ranks on World Music Awards top 100 artists
The Awards' official Facebook page posted a statement saying, 'Amr Diab's long-awaited new album, Ebtadena, has topped the charts in several countries on iTunes and Apple Music, capitalizing on the star's overwhelming regional popularity.'
According to the Awards' official website, Diab ranked 79th globally on the iTunes Global Albums Chart and 155th on iTunes in the US.
The songs from the album 'Ebtadena' topped the streaming charts in 10 Arab countries, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, and the Sultanate of Oman, across the Anghami, Apple Music, and Spotify platforms.

The album includes 15 songs, ranging from romantic to dramatic to rhythmic, in collaboration with a group of prominent music makers in Egypt and the Arab world, most notably: Tamer Hussein, Amr Mostafa, Aziz el-Shafei, Bahaa Eddin Mohamed, Ayman Bahgat Qamar, Amir Taaima, Mohamed Yehia, Adel Haqi, Ahmed Ibrahim, Osama el-Hindi, Toma, and Wissam Abdel-Moneim.
The album 'Ebtadena' represents a new musical experience in Diab's career, combining the spirit of the songs he was famous for in the 1990s and 2000s with modern production values that keep in pace with global tastes, reinforcing his position as one of the Middle East's most prominent stars.

Pharaohs' Treasures Exhibition to Open in Rome Following Egypt-Italy Cooperation Agreement
Ali abo deshish As part of strengthening cultural ties between Egypt and Italy—particularly in the field of archaeology—Dr. Mohamed Ismail Khaled, Secretary-General of Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities, and Mr. Fabio Taliaferri, Chairman of ALES (Ministry of Culture, Italy), have signed a cooperation agreement to organize the temporary exhibition 'Pharaohs' Treasures', set to open on October 24, 2025, at the Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Italian Ambassador to Cairo, Michele Quaroni; Dr. Moamen Othman, Head of the Museums Sector in Egypt; Simone Todorov de San Giorgio, Executive Director of Mondo Mostre; and Matteo Lafranconi, Director of Scuderie del Quirinale. Dr. Khaled emphasized the significance of this cultural collaboration, praising the longstanding ties between Egypt and Italy. He noted that the exhibition serves as a cultural gateway that highlights the richness of ancient Egyptian civilization and strengthens global appreciation for human heritage. 'Pharaohs' Treasures' will be the second largest Egyptian exhibition ever held in Italy, featuring 130 carefully selected artifacts from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir and the Museum of Art in Luxor. The display will explore themes including kingship, the royal court, religious beliefs, daily life, funerary rituals, and the afterlife. The exhibition will run until May 2026, offering Italian and international visitors an extended opportunity to experience the grandeur of ancient Egypt. Among the highlights are artifacts being displayed in Italy for the first time, such as: • The golden coffin of Queen Iahhotep, a masterpiece of New Kingdom funerary art. • The funerary mask of King Amenemope, symbolizing divine kingship and eternal life. • The Triad of King Menkaure, a monumental Old Kingdom statue representing the king flanked by deities Hathor and the local god of Thebes. • The golden coffin of Tuya, grandmother of Akhenaten, adorned with hieroglyphs narrating her journey to the afterlife. • The legendary Golden Fly Necklace of Queen Ahmose Nefertari, an ancient military honor awarded to Egypt's bravest warriors. The exhibition will also delve into ancient Egyptian society, divine kingship, craftsmanship, and recent archaeological discoveries. From imposing statues of Ramses VI and Thutmose III to intricate royal jewelry and daily tools, the showcase reveals the artistic, spiritual, and historical brilliance of one of the world's most captivating civilizations. A special section will highlight the 'Lost Golden City', one of the most important archaeological discoveries in recent years. Sphinx Airport Customs Foil Attempt to Smuggle Over 630 Dental and Medical Items from Turkey
Ali abo deshish Authorities at Sphinx International Airport Customs, under the supervision of Dr. Majed Moussa, Head of the Central Administration of Cairo Airport Customs and its branches, successfully thwarted an attempt by an Egyptian passenger to smuggle a large quantity of dental supplies and other medical items, exceeding 630 packages. The smuggling attempt was detected during customs clearance for passengers arriving on a Pegasus Airlines flight from Turkey. The inspection team included Eslam Abdel-Baqi, the officer assigned to manual inspection, and Magdy Ezzat, who identified the passenger at the green channel. The X-ray team included Abdel-Mardy Reda, Mohamed Gomaa Abdel-Baset, and Mohamed Kamal El-Din, all customs officers. Additional support was provided by Ayman Essam, Mohamed Kamal, and Mahmoud Gaber, Director of X-ray Scanning. Following the incident, Hossam Abu El-Fadl Shokair, Customs Director, ordered the filing of Customs Report No. 3 of 2025 after presenting the case to the Head of the Central Administration.
