Top pipers to perform at free event in Renfrewshire
This free-to-attend event will begin at 10am and will feature a full day of family entertainment, including children's activities, inflatables, and local trader stalls.

The Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association will judge the bands based on their performances across various grades.
Spectators can enjoy the performances throughout the day, with the March Past scheduled for 5.30pm followed by the prize-giving ceremony.
This year, the event's Chieftain will be Tom Johnston, former president of Renfrew Football Club and the Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce.

He said: "I'm honoured to have been asked to be chieftain at the Renfrew Pipe Band Competition this year, and I'm really looking forward to a great day out.
"I've been involved in the Renfrew community for many years and know how important events like this are for bringing everyone together.
"I hope the Renfrew residents can come out in force to show support for all the competitors, including those travelling to Renfrew from further afield.
"The competition is shaping up to be a fantastic day and I wish all the best to those taking part."
There will be no public parking available at the event, but free parking is available a five-minute walk away at St James Primary School, Brown Street.
Public transport to the park is also available with a number of bus stops located around Robertson Park.

Fourth Daughter Appearing on the BBC Introducing stage during this year's festival, Fourth Daughter - whose real name is Emily Atkinson - will perform at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival on Thursday, July 31. HBO bosses update fans with major new Harry Potter series announcement

The series is set to debut in 2027 on HBO and HBO Max where it's available, including in upcoming launch markets Germany, Italy, and the UK. Author J. K. Rowling, who maintains residence in Edinburgh and based characters and locations from the franchise on the Scottish capital, is involved in the new series, serving as executive producer. New cast members have been announced for several roles as production launches at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, UK. Casting for the franchise's beloved trio was announced earlier this year with newcomers Dominic McLaughlin landing the lead role of Harry Potter, while Arabella Stanton comes in for Hermione, and Alastair Stout will play Ron. Louise Brealey will play the wizard PE and broom instructor Madam Rolanda Hooch, with Anton Lesser as wand maker Garrick Ollivander. New department heads have also been announced including Adriano Goldman as Director of Photography, Cate Hall as Hair and Makeup Designer, Paul Herbert as Stunt Coordinator, Mark Holt as SFX Supervisor, Mara LePere-Schloop as Production Designer, Naomi Moore as Set Decorator, John Nolan as Creature Effects Design Supervisor, Alexis Wajsbrot as VFX Supervisor, Dom Sidoli as VFX Producer, and previously announced Holly Waddington Costume Designer. The series was written and executive produced by Francesca Gardiner and will be directed by Mark Mylod, famed director of "Succession".
