Diane Kruger, Chloe Flower and More Celebrate the Launch of Christian Louboutin Eyewear
If there ever were an occasion to wear shades inside while at the piano, Thursday night's party was the time. The Nines was cleared out and taken over by Christian Louboutin to celebrate their foray into eyewear. Diane Kruger, Francesca Scorsese, Olivia Palermo, Darren Barnet, Jeremy Pope, Law Roach, Sai De Silva and more turned out for the occasion, which featured a special performance by Flower.

With its red walls, The Nines was a fitting venue for the infamous red-soled shoe brand to throw a party. Guests sipped passion fruit and tequila cocktails while mingling about. After performing several 'popsicle' songs — that is pop meets classical — Flower took to a small back banquet to chat.
'Comfort is always really important normally, but not when I perform. Louboutin somehow matches everything,' she said. 'I constantly am in weird scenarios where I'm dressing according to what they need. Louboutin is always very feminine. I love the design.'
Having released three new singles, Flower will drop her newest album on May 2. Being a role model for women in classical music remains a focus of her career, she said.
'Growing up in classical music, I had never been given a piece of music to learn that wasn't written by a man. From two years old until 25,' she said. 'I didn't know that I could compose until I was in my 20s because it wasn't an option. I think for me that's why promoting women in music and really just being able to bring classical music to a wider audience [is so important].'

Among other accessories, Lohan nodded to the original 'Freaky Friday' with her purse, which carried a Judith Leiber silver microphone clutch. The purse was crafted with gradient flatback crystals on the bold dome and the stem, covered in silver crystal in a geometric pattern with round crystals for a unique web effect. When it came to her glam, Lohan turned to hairstylist Danielle Priano, who gave the actress' blond tresses a soft wave and styled her hair with a middle part. Lohan's makeup, by artist Ash K. Holm, featured bold brows, lined eyes and a soft, glossy lip. Lohan's look was curated by stylist Andrew Mukamal, who's also collaborated with Vanessa Kirby during her 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' press tour. Lohan's Disney princess-inspired gown coincides with a recent collaboration between Disney and Coperni. The Parisian brand's spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection took place at Disneyland Paris, with cofounders Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant crafting a collection partially inspired by the company. 'It's probably the biggest project of our life,' Vaillant said at the time. Disney's collaborations with other brands extends well beyond fashion. The 101-year-old entertainment company's Disney princesses, in particular, were previously highlighted with Bath & Body Works and Aldo collaborations, among others. Other Disney stars have also followed suit with similar princess-inspired dressing. Rachel Zegler, who stars in the live-action iteration of 'Snow White,' wore gowns by Elie Saab and Dior during her press tour for the film. 'Freakier Friday,' starring Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, is a sequel to the 2003 film 'Freaky Friday.' The movie follows mother-daughter pair Tess and Anna, played by Curtis and Lohan respectively, as they find themselves in the midst of yet another identity crisis similar to the one they experienced 22 years ago. Alien: Earth creator says the upcoming sci-fi show will dedicate more screentime than any of the movies to the Xenomorph, Facehuggers, and a few new creatures: "I am trying to re-mystify Alien"

Get ready Alien fans, because the first TV show in the franchise is set to have even more Xenomorphs, Facehuggers, and creatures than ever before, with more screentime than the monsters were allowed in previous movies. "We're seeing more [of the] Xenomorph than any of these movies," Alien: Earth director Dana Gonzales to Collider. "All the movies, if you really study them, are like, 20 frames, two seconds, they show the Xenomorph. We have huge sequences where all you're seeing is the Xenomorph." But the Xenomorph has had a little upgrade, as creator Noah Hawley said, "I always felt like it was the least effective when it looked like a guy in a suit," pointing out that the Xenomorph in the original movie can look a little too human at some points. "It's very black in the movie. I wanted to play into more of the bug-like quality of it, so maybe it falls a little more in the roach coloration." Oh, and it can jump too. Director Gonzales explained how with new stunt techniques and wirework, the team was able to "fly the Xeno around," and feature the monster in its full glory rather than only showing parts of it, like so many of the Alien movies do. "So it's not so much just coming out and scaring you and having that kind of jump scare," said Gonzales. "It's literally flying through the air. It's chasing. There's a lot that supports the fact that you see it, and I don't know if those other films had that." As well as the Xenomorph, the show will include a bunch of different creatures. The series begins with a team of space explorers aboard the USCSS Maginot, researching five different Alien lifeforms, including the Orchid, the Eye Midge, the Facehugger, and the Xenomorph. However, when the spacecraft crash-lands on Earth, the creatures are set loose. In the most recent Alien: Earth trailer, we saw a baby Xenomorph, a strange flower-bud-like creature, and an infected goat. But just because you have seen some of those creatures before, don't expect to know exactly how they operate. "I am trying to re-mystify Alien," said Hawley. "So much of what made that first movie and the second movie so horrifying was that every time you thought you knew what the lifecycle of this creature was, it just got worse… I've tried to come up with ways that the show returns that sense of, 'What's going to happen next? That's so gross!'" Alien: Earth stars Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Essie Davis, Adarsh Gourav, Kit Young, Timothy Olyphant, and more. Alien: Earth premieres on FX and Hulu in the US on August 12, and will start streaming on Disney Plus in the UK from August 13. 'The Devil Wears Prada 2': Everything We Know - And All Of Anne Hathaway's Outfits So Far
Best break out your favorite cerulean sweater—because The Devil Wears Prada is back. After leading ladies Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt enjoyed an onstage reunion at last year's SAG Awards, fans couldn't help but hope that a follow-up movie might be on the horizon. Now, it's finally happening: After almost 20 years, Disney is giving us a The Devil Wears Prada sequel. Ahead, everything we know about the upcoming film so far. Variety reports that the movie will follow Streep's character, editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly, as she 'navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing and faces off against Blunt's character, now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs.' It's not yet obvious where Hathaway's character, Andy Sachs, will fit into this story—but, rest assured, she'll be there. The main stars will reprise their roles for the sequel, including Hathaway (Andy Sachs), Streep (Miranda Priestly), Blunt (Emily Charlton), and even Stanley Tucci (Nigel Kipling).Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman will also return as Lily and Irv Ravitz, respectively. Newcomers will include Kenneth Branagh (as Miranda's husband), as well as Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, Conrad Ricamora, Helen J. Shen, and Caleb Hearon, per Deadline and Variety. Colin from Accounts star Patrick Brammal will be joining as Andy's new love interest, Entertainment Weekly reports. Director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna, who worked on the original film, are also returning for the sequel, alongside producer Karen Rosenfelt. As for whom else fans might like to see in the follow-up, Nicholas Galitzine, who stars alongside Hathaway in The Idea of You, recently told ELLE that he'd love to work with Streep and Blunt someday. He added that, should there ever be a sequel, he would want to be a part of it. 'Listen, if Annie's down for it, if they want to do a sequel of The Devil Wears Prada, I'll be someone,' the actor said in our 2024 Hollywood Rising issue. 'I'll be the assistant who runs and gets coffee for everyone.' There haven't been any reports of Galitzine making a cameo in the movie (yet), but a boy can dream. According to an Entertainment Weekly exclusive, Adrian Grenier, who played Andy's boyfriend, Nate, will not be returning for the sequel. The sequel will be released on May 1, 2026, according to Variety. It sure has. On June 30, 2025, 20th Century Studios took to social media to announce that the sequel was officially in production. Then, on July 21, Hathaway shared a cheeky filming update via TikTok. Posting a video of herself brushing her teeth (and wearing—what else?—a cerulean sweater), she captioned the clip, 'Heading to werk #dwp2.' Yes! On July 21, Hathaway also shared a TikTok video of her in character wearing a Gabriela Hearst Spring-Summer 2025 colorful patchwork maxi dress. In an Instagram post, Hathaway showed off another one of Andy's looks, a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier pinstripe suit vest and matching trousers.
