Tulasi Seeds chairman's birthday celebrated

Guntur: The birthday of renowned industrialist and chairman of Tulasi Group of Companies Tulasi Ramachandra Prabhu and his son Tulasi Krishna Chaitanya was celebrated at Yogi Bhavan in Arundelpet, Guntur city on Saturday.
Ramachandra Prabhu cut a cake in the presence of his sons Tulasi Yogish and Tulasi Krishna Chaitanya, and grandson Tulasi Aditya. Leaders of various political parties extended birthday greetings to Prabhu and wished Ramachandra Prabhu and Krishna Chaitanya to excel further as industrialists.
Guntur East MLA Md Naseer Ahmad, former MLC Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad, GGH Superintendent Dr Yasaswi Ramana and several corporators were among those, who participated in the celebrations.
On this occasion, Tulasi Ramachandra Prabhu said that he is feeling fortunate that June 21, which is also International Yoga Day, coincided with his birthday, and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for introducing yoga to the world and spreading India's glory across the globe.
He said the Tulasi Group of Companies have provided employment to several people and has been offering scholarships to poor students for over 25 years. He assured more public welfare activities will continue in future.

The MLA Naseer said in one year new roads were laid at a cost of Rs 5 crore and been trying to implement the welfare schemes. He said efforts are on to ensure that the beneficiaries get welfare scheme. The MLAs personally enquired with residents whether government welfare schemes were reaching all eligible beneficiaries. The two MLAs criticised the previous government had neglected development and failed to provide basic amenities, causing hardship to the public in East segment. They said the coalition government under the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is moving ahead with a clear vision and that all colonies are now progressing rapidly as a result.

Visakhapatnam: From its humble beginnings, NTPC Simhadri scaled remarkable heights, achieving milestones such as 100 per cent ash utilisation, consistent operational excellence, and contributions that extend far beyond power generation, said executive director and head of project, NTPC Simhadri Sameer Sharma. At the commemoration of NTPC Simhadri's 28th Raising Day, Sharma elaborated about the first coastal-based power plant's journey since its establishment in 1997. He congratulated the employees for their continued efforts, lauded the station's performance in FY 2024–25, and called for collective dedication to achieve the milestones set for the current fiscal year. The celebration included distribution of prizes to winners who took part in recent campaigns and competitions, including Swachhata Pakhwada, World Environment Day and International Yoga Day. The occasion was marked by a flag-hoisting ceremony in the presence of senior officials of the organisation.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) reported robust sales for June 2025, clocking a total of 4,29,147 two-wheelers. This figure comprises 3,88,812 units sold in the domestic market and 40,335 units this, HMSI's year-to-date (YTD) sales for FY26 have reached 13,75,120 units, including 12,28,961 domestic sales and 1,46,159 units safety and CSR initiatives June witnessed HMSI intensifying its road safety efforts across India.
