Gucci Names Stray Kids' Lee Know Global Brand Ambassador

Yara Sameh
Gucci revealed on Monday that it has named South Korean singer Lee Know as its latest global brand ambassador.
"The House is happy to reveal the appointment of Lee Know from Stray Kids as a new Global Brand Ambassador. Upon receiving the news, Lee Know shared his excitement for his role, 'I believe Gucci is a brand that transcends the past and present through heritage and contemporary creativity," the brand said in a statement.
The appointment of the member of the K-pop sensation Stray Kids comes as no surprise, as the artist has worn Gucci both at official events and in editorial appearances.
Last year, he also attended the Florentine house's cruise 2025 fashion show in London, further strengthening its ties with the Kering-owned company. In his new role, Lee Know will be even more involved in Gucci's events and initiatives.
'I believe Gucci is a brand that transcends the past and present through heritage and contemporary creativity. It's a great honor to be part of Gucci's visionary journey,' the K-pop idol added.
Since his debut with Stray Kids in 2018, Lee Know has become a multifaceted and versatile artist, affirming himself not only as a performer but also as a songwriter and composer.
The band overall has turned to be one of the biggest acts in music in just a few years. It was formed by JYP Entertainment through the 2017 reality show of the same name and includes other seven members: I.N, Bang Chan, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, and Seungmin.
In January 2018, Stray Kids released their first EP, and since then, it has been all upward for the band. Their music success has gone hand-in-hand with the increasing attention of the fashion industry. For example, most recently, I.N was tapped as both Bottega Veneta and Damiani ambassador, while Fendi, Versace, and Louis Vuitton have tapped Bang Chan, Hyunjin, and Felix, respectively, for similar roles.
Stray Kids is currently on its third world tour, titled 'DominATE,' which began in Seoul in August last year and will wrap up in Italy on July 30 with a final event at the Stadio Olimpico stadium in Rome.

Blackpink Send Fans Into Frenzy with Mysterious "Pink Area" Map

Yara Sameh Blackpink sent fans into a frenzy after the K-pop girl group unveiled a new interactive website that appears to set up their upcoming era. In a tweet on Tuesday, the group wrote, 'Welcome to PINK AREA ,' along with a photo of a cartoonish map of Seoul. The map featured a series of popular tourist spots, including Goyang Sports complex, Banpo Bridge, Namsan Seoul Tower, and Sevit Island, all marked as PINK AREA, along with the dates July 4-6. Two of the sites were marked with an all-caps sign that read DO NOT JUMP, with the 'Not' crossed out in pink spray paint over the YG building and the Shinsegae department store. At press time, it was unclear what the message referred to. The site's name picks up on the group's iconic 'BLACKPINK in your area' catchphrase and followed up on last week's first group picture together in months. In a since-expired Instagram Stories post that showed Rosé, Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo were seen holding their hands together to create the shape of a four-leaf clover, accompanied by a clover emoji. BLINKS shared the snap on their socials in an attempt to decode its meaning, with many speculating that it was a hint about the title of an upcoming song or project. Back in May, Lisa revealed that the group had already been in the studio working on new songs. The quartet's most recent album was 2022's sophomore LP "Born Pink," which was followed by solo albums and singles from all the band. In the meantime, Blackpink are gearing up to launch their Deadline world tour, which is slated to kick off at South Korea's Goyang Stadium with shows on Saturday (July 5) and Sunday (July 6), leading to further speculation that the sites on the interactive map are clues about events timed to coincide with the tour kick-off. Afterwards, the quartet will head to North America for a show in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, and New York. They will then play stadiums across Europe in August and return for a run of Asian dates in October and November, winding down on November 30 with the second of two shows at Singapore National Stadium. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence"
