River Island's new influencer-loved summer dress is so popular it is 'selling fast'
Jetting off somewhere tropical this summer? Then chances are that a shopping spree for some vibrant, loose-fitting clothes is on the cards.
One high street firm that has been impressing fashion fans this season has been River Island, with its latest capsule collection in collaboration with Atlas Art founder Adrianne Dimitrakakis going viral.
While multiple items in the limited-edition line are "trending" online, one that seems to have been singled out by influencers is the Blue Atlas Printed Maxi Dress - and it's already "selling fast."
The £56 summer frock boasts a vibrant travel-inspired print that reinterprets one of Dimitrakakis' own hand-drawn artworks, all which are famed for their remote island, overlooked coastal caves and Mediterranean store fronts.
This print will add a statement piece to your wardrobe, as it boasts palm trees, suns, slogans and more against a multicoloured canvas of pinks, greens, yellows and blues.
River Island Blue Atlas Printed Maxi Dress
Product Description
Falling to a practical maxi-length hemline, the Atlas Printed Dress features a chic square neckline and hangs from two chunky straps. Paired with sandals and sunglasses, it can easily be worn by the pool, to the beach and out for dinner when on vacation.
It's worth noting that River Island is not the only retailer to go wild for tropical-inspired prints this summer, as we have also spotted Nobody's Child's Cream Printed Cassidy Midi Dress with a bold, vintage pattern for £89.
Alternatively, New Look offers a very similar alternative with its Blue Vanilla Multicoloured Fruit Print Midi Dress that is a little more affordable at £35.
However, those taken with the River Island x Atlas dress wouldn't be alone, as travel influencer @travelswithdarcie singled it out of the entire collection in a recent TikTok video that was captioned: "Atlas x River Island Collection is GIVING for summer holiday outfits."
Viewers of the clip were quick to agree, as one rushed to say: "The dress omg I'm obsessed!!!"
A second viewer taken with the frock added: "Love this dress it's fab."
While a third added: "Aw the dress is so pretty! love the colours."
Meanwhile, River Island also mentioned the dress in a dedicated TikTok video calling it "the perfect summer dress."
Since the River Island website does not provide official reviews, there doesn't seem to be any negative critique at the moment. However, on Trustpilot, River Island has a 3.6 rating, with 50 per cent of reviews being one star.
Right now, the dress is still available to buy in sizes XS to XL, although, it is "trending" and "selling fast", so it may run out of stock soon.
Purchase the Blue Atlas Printed Maxi dress for £56 on the River Island website here. The entire 43-piece strong collection can also be shopped online here.

Coin collector issues £2 alert as he says value of one will 'blow your mind'
The Coin Collecting Wizard has shared the three most valuable £2 coins in a TikTok video, and one is worth a whopping £1,000 - but you'll need to find the rare error version Brits have been urged to check their pocket money for three rare coins - and one could 'blow your mind'. The rarest of these collectible pieces might bring in a £1,000, an expert says. However, you need to look out for specific years, and in one case, a sought-after error. In a video shared on TikTok, an expert called the Coin Collecting Wizard showed what to hunt for. He explained the three valuable coins to his more than 250,000 followers, reports Lancs Live. "Have you got any £2 coins?" he asked. "Check out these worth big money - the last one will blow your mind." First, he told viewers to look for a coin called the Commonwealth Northern Ireland. Because of an extremely limited mintage, this can be worth up to £65 in excellent condition. He explained: "This £2 coin known as the Commonwealth Northern Ireland is the rarest £2 coin you can find in your change. "With only 485,000 minted it is worth around £35 in uncirculated condition and £65 if brand new." This 2002 coin is one of four different designs, each showing a different flag for the four UK nations. The Northern Ireland variant displays the Northern Irish flag on the reverse (tails side), alongside a moving figure holding a banner. Next, he discussed the 2011 King James Bible coin. This coin features the opening words from the Book of John on its tails side. In the golden edge of the coin it reads "King James Bible" and "1611-2011". The expert continued: "Only 975,000 King James Bible £2 coins are out there in your change. Released in 2011 this is becoming scarcer to find but if you are lucky enough to find it then it is worth around £4 in circulated condition and £20 if brand new." Topping his list was the Lord Kitchener coin with a specific error. "£1,000 for this £2 coin," he exclaimed. "Yes, I told you this one will blow your mind. "This is the Lord Kitchener £2 from 2014 but you need to find a rare error version known as a mule error, which makes it worth a grand. If yours doesn't have the words 'two pounds' on the Queen's side then you have found the rare error." This coin marks 100 years since the start of the First World War. In February last year, an example of this coin fetched £1,000 at auction.

New budget airline route from the UK to connect Brits to the ‘Maldives of Europe' for £19.99
Plus, a Sun reporter head to the destination to see if it the ultimate budget beach break TAKE OFF New budget airline route from the UK to connect Brits to the 'Maldives of Europe' for £19.99 Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) WHITE sandy beaches and crystal clear waters are just a couple of hours away in the 'Maldives of Europe' - and there are more direct flights from the UK. Wizz Air is launching direct flights from London Gatwick to Tirana, the capital of Albania for just £19.99. The route marks Wizz Air's second route to the Albanian city, with the airline also flying to Tirana from London Luton Airport. While Tirana is an city break destination of its own, most will use it as a base to travel to the Albanian Riviera. Away from the city, you can explore other parts of the country which have led to the European destination being dubbed the 'Maldives of Europe'. Along the country's coastline there are crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches and natural beauty. There are many beach clubs to explore too, often serving up typical Mediterranean cuisine. For example, in the town of Sarandë, which is sandwiched between the Ionian Sea and rolling hills, there is the Lost Seaside beach club. Here, guests can enjoy a pool, beach, restaurant and lounge - including sunbeds that hang over the sea and pool. Prices in Albania are typically really cheap. Food is also cheap, with a mid-range, three course meal for two costing around 4,500 LEK (£39.94). The average price of a double room in Albania is £83 per night, according to Kayak. Yvonne Moynihan, managing director at Wizz Air UK, said: "With Albania increasingly recognised as the 'Maldives of Europe', this route allows more of our customers to discover untapped destinations across southeastern Europe." Wizz Air also recently announced five new routes to Spain, as well as a direct route to Medina from London Gatwick - which is a first for the airline. Is Albania the ultimate budget beach break? A SUN reporter headed to Albania, here's what they thought. When I first told my friends I was going to Albania, they reacted with a raised eyebrow and a simple question: 'Why?' The country isn't a typical beach destination, but it has become a word-of-mouth hit for those seeking sunny, affordable getaways. Flying from Gatwick, I hoped for a cheap and cheerful holiday, and that's exactly what we got. The low prices were a pleasant surprise. In the town of Vlore, cocktails were just £3.70. A bowl of seafood linguine cost only £5.20, and a full lunch on Ksamil beach was just £11.30. I stayed mainly in Airbnbs, which ranged from £14 to £21 per person per night. The water along the Albanian coastline was consistently a stunning turquoise blue, much like the seas found in Corfu or Sardinia. The beaches were also blissfully quiet, thanks to the area still being somewhat of an undiscovered gem. Peaceful, picturesque, and perfect for those on a budget, Albania is an ideal holiday spot. It's a hidden gem that offers incredible value without compromising on beauty. In the same country, you can also spend the day in Maldives-style overwater huts. Plus, the incredible plans for unique 120-bed 'floating' hotel in idyllic UK beauty spot have been revealed.
