A man and two boys arrested as suspects in Miami carjacking and car vs. building
Before the crash, arrest reports say, Axel Padilla and his two teen teammates surprised a boyfriend and girlfriend in the back seat of a Hyundai Elantra parked at 1780 SW Fifth St. just before 2 a.m. The trio, all in ski masks, produced handguns and demanded the couple's possessions and the car.
While the victims talked with police, the arrest report said, the stolen Hyundai passed by about 100 feet away as it went south on Southwest 18th Avenue. Trailed by yells of 'That's my car!' officers ran to their cruisers to follow the Hyundai. They eventually found it, doors open like wings, crashed into the corner of an empty commercial building at Southwest 22nd Avenue and Fourth Street.
Padilla was found at 2211 SW Fifth St., the report said, along with the victims' wallets, a black hoodie seen on surveillance video of the carjacking and the crash-and-run and a Glock handgun. The teens were found in the backyard of 2260 SW Fourth St. with a blue hoodie with white flower designs seen on the aforementioned surveillance video and a black ski mask.

Police hunt suspect and victim in e-bike assault
Police are appealing for information regarding both the suspect and victim of an assault that took place in Guildford last month. The incident occurred at a block of garages behind a residential building on Boxgrove Road around 15.15 BST on Sunday, 20 July, Surrey Police said. The driver of a red Hyundai car was seen having a brief exchange of words with a delivery driver on an electric bike before getting out of his vehicle and attacking him with an unspecified weapon. Bryan Kohberger stashed bizarre keepsakes in his car glove compartment from women he knew before he butchered four University of Idaho students, a new report revealed. The creepy mementos — a pair of ID badges — were discovered after his December 2022 arrest by authorities searching Kohberger's parents' home in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, , KIMA reported citing Latah County prosecutors. CMPD locates missing woman last seen in Ballantyne
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department located a missing woman after asking for the public's assistance. 49-year-old Jenny Gore Bruton was reported missing Tuesday afternoon. Police said Bruton had last been seen leaving her office on Ballantyne Village Way, driving a 2015 gold Hyundai Elantra. Her NC license plate reads JLT-5075. Police were told that her credit card was used at the Harris Teeter on Celanese Road in Rock Hill. They said they had received several Facebook messages about that. Bruton lives in Charlotte, and police said her spouse is the one who reported her missing. She is approximately 5′5″, weighing 150 pounds, with blue eyes and red hair.
